Luckily today I didn't make a bet on Frosinone's match against Atalanta, even though on paper Atalanta can be relied on to win, as the host Frosinone doesn't want to lose any more points like they did against Napoli. Even in the first half, Frosinone seemed to know the gaps that Atalanta had so they could score 2 goals. On the other hand, in the second half Atalanta, whose aim was to at least equalize, seemed unable to do that and they only managed to reply to one goal. A good result for Frosinone as they got their first win of the season in Serie A.

Atalanta made a good start to the new season despite losing Hojlund to Manchester United. However I must admit that he wasn't playing that much impressive here. Therefore Atalanta must not have been affected by that very much. Winning against Sassuolo away was a difficult task for them in the recent years but they did it at the beginning of this season finally.

Maybe it is a good sign for them to be more competitive this season. Next opponent is Frosinone and it is another away game. But Atalanta should be able to win this even easier. They can be more competitive for top 4 if they keep up a good form this time.

I honestly did not anticipate that victory against Sassuolo. Away contests and they? Typically, misses outnumber strikes! This season, however, its as if they dispersed magic dust or something. Regarding Hojlund, I've always felt he wasnt THAT indispensable. No offense intended! Now that Manchester United has him, perhaps he will flourish more? The match against Frosinone is enticing. My wager is on Atlantis. If they make this mistake after defeating Sassuolo, I will simply shake my head. And hey, if they maintain this level of intensity, perhaps, just possibly, they could be genuine contenders for the top four?

Unfortunately, in the end Atalanta couldn't get any points in that match against Frosinone. It was really sad that they lost, even though Atalanta should have been able to win although they were playing away. Because based on statistics, Atalanta is not too bad either, they are better rather than the home team. This is really surprising, I personally did not expect such a disappointing result from Atalanta today.

Exactly, this was very surprising to see the result of the match Frosinone vs Atalanta. It seems that Atalanta was a little surprised by how the newcomer looked in Serie A. Indeed, statistically, Atalanta is quite good at positioning the ball. However, Frosinone played quite aggressively from the start. What's more, they managed to take the lead in the 5th minute. Atalanta was indeed very favored in that match because materially the players were far superior compared to Frosinone. Apart from that, Atalanta also has good capital because they successfully won the first match against Sassuolo. Meanwhile, Frosinone is in a battered state after being smothered by Napoli. even though as a promoted team they are not at all afraid, they certainly set a high target, namely to be able to survive in Serie A so today's victory meant a lot for Eusebio Di Francesco's troops.

Roma have bad defense in this season as they got 4 conceded goals so far and are very bad to fight against counter attacking of opponents. Chris Smalling again was beaten by attacking players easily with face to face situation.

With the late conceded goal in a first half extra time, AS Roma will have a very difficult second half and they nearly have no hope to get three points from Verona. Belotti did have some try in this first half but it seems he will not be able to beat Verona defenders. Roma need to change their attacking methods in the second half and I am not sure why Spinazzola did not start in this match.

AC Milan is having a beautiful moment in today's game between them and Torino. Polisic was the American that broke the deadlock on the 35th minutes of the game. He has scored two goals in two matches and he is the first American to score in Seria A to start the season. The season second goal came in after there was a handball inside the box of Torino by Torino player. This gave Giroud the opportunity to also score his second goal this season through a penalty kick. Torino equalised the first goal scored by Polisic,three minutes later,at the last minutes of the game Refeal Leao gave an assist to Hernandez who made a incredible finish to end the first half with a score of 3-1 against Torino

When Pulisic was recruited by Ac milan in this transfer window, it was already seen that he was the greatest signing made by Ac milan in this transfer window. Because in the previous match Pulisic also made a big contribution by contributing 1 goal and in this ongoing match Pulisic also scored the opener against Torino. With the end of the first half Ac milan led 3-1 in this Match.

I think Ac milan can add another goal in the second half because they were able to dominate the match quite well. There is something wrong with AS Roma. Since the second half of the last season, AS Roma performance was decreasing much. Now, they never won in this early of this season. If they are defeated by Verona today, they failed again to get full points in the first 2 matches. It is getting interesting because they failed to win against small teams. In the next match, they will play against AC Milan, they probably fail again to win because AC Milan look perfectly now.

It was really sad that they lost, even though Atalanta should have been able to win although they were playing away. I believe that is sometimes how it works in football: surprising teams get lucky and win the games despite giving a lesser effort than their rivals. Atlanta gave it their all, but they weren't just fortunate to prevail. I saw how well Atlanta controlled the field and produced some chances, but they didn't just get lucky to score on those excellent opportunities. Because I can see their efforts on the field, I am not overly disappointed in them because Some promoted teams consistently appear strong at the start of the season, especially while playing at home, and  it is nothing new to me.  Now, I am looking forward to see how they will perform in their next game. Maybe they will look strong enough to win the match despite who they will play with.

Milan made their fans so happy with the victory they got against their opponent Torino. A deserved win for Milan especially with a score of 4-1 made them unstoppable in the second match of the season. For Torino, even though they had equalized, it didn't last long because Milan had a realistic target to be at the top of the standings. Coach Stefano Pioli certainly didn't expect his players to be able to give an interesting match and this is certainly the start of Milan's renaissance.

It was a day of home victories in Italy. Atalanta's away loss might be the one that surprised me the most. Looking at and comparing the quality of the teams and their performances last season, Atalanta should have won this game comfortably, but it showed again that football is a sport where almost anything can happen as we are always open to surprises.
Besides this match, Roma's defeat away from home was another match that surprised me. Roma have one of the best coaches and they have a good squad. If they lose points in this kind of matches, it's like giving up the championship early in my eyes. The opponent may not be an easy opponent, but when you are superior to your opponent in terms of squad and coaching, but you don't score enough goals to win, you have to question something.

Sanchez is a great player that has the ability to single-handedly decide the result of games but his biggest challenge has always been injury and if he can stay fit for most parts of the season, he'll surely do well Inter Milan this season.

All that dominance in statistics didn't help Roma get even one point against Verona. Especially the second half was in full control of them. Despite having a duo like Dybala - Belotti in the attacking line Roma still couldn't score with any of them. Belotti started the season great by 2 goals actually. But here he wasn't able to maintain this effort.

In the same way Atalanta also got a shocking defeat by Frosinone. But they at least won their first game while Roma couldn't have won a game yet. Normally Roma could have beaten both of their opponents so far. If Mourinho doesn't improve in the league this season then he wouldn't be kept anymore.
