I also didn't think that AS Roma would lose at home to Verona before the match started, but what happened was a very painful thing for AS Roma because they had to narrowly lose to Verona because of VAR in the 42nd minute. However, it must be admitted that the strategy used by Verona in that match really worked very well because Verona was able to create a good defense as well as make counterattacks when they had the opportunity.

There is nothing surprising other than Roma's defeat in last night's game and this is a pretty bad result after last week they only drew. It seems that Mourinho's troops are still the same as last season when they faced a team they should have won but instead suffered a defeat.

Verona even took the lead with two goals in the first half and you can see how the Roma players were very confused about the host's attacks. Had caught up in the second half but not enough to equalize and the score lasted 2-1 until the game was over. I think Rome will still be on the bad track of defeat if they can't change all of this, especially next week they have to face Milan who are now starting to show their consistency.

There are many people who have lost a lot of betting money because of the Rome vs Verona match.
Verona at the start of the 2023/24 season showed how good their performance was, which last season was underestimated as a bottom club in Serie A.
It was a very exciting match to watch and Mourinho looked a little awkward and didn't believe in the match, I laughed at Mourinho's expression at the goal when Patricio conceded two goals.
But this is only the start of the 2023/24 season and there is still a long way to go so it is likely that Roma will have better strength in the future.

I might bet on this game but I don't want to bet on Roma winning because it's pretty clear from the first game they are still struggling to win. Because of that I bet more on the two teams scoring goals and sure enough they still can't win in this second match.

If we look at Mourinho's expression, maybe it's time for Rome to look for a goalkeeper to replace Rui Patricio? considering that this goalkeeper is quite old and decreased performance also results in easy goals being conceded. Roma's revival will still be highly anticipated, especially as one of the big teams they shouldn't lose like this and Mourinho is a good coach so everything is likely to be repaired.

It's too early to make a longer prediction, but Roma had a big problem, collecting only 1 point in 2 games. Verona made an important start to the league with 2 wins in 2 matches. Rome, on the other hand, started to investigate where they were missing with this defeat. Winning the Scudetto is every Italian team's dream. For Roma, every match is of great importance on this great dream road. They should play better for the cup.

It's quite surprising to see AS Roma lose to Hellas Verona, with one draw and one defeat that Roma have got will be burdensome for them, and this is quite unpleasant, and I don't know if Lukaku's presence will be enough to help them in the attack for it seemed that his presence in Rome was only one step away because that also seems to be Rome's constraints so that it is not good enough in these first two matches. Roma played as the stronger team but their finishing was so bad that every attempt they made was wasted in this match.

And Roma wasn't the only team that suffered an unexpected result because Atlanta also experienced the same thing, they lost to the home team Frosinone, of course, no one would have predicted that Frosinone managed to get their first 3 points and that was obtained from the match against the team which they thought would be hard to beat.

Among the many interesting games today, two matches have finished Ac Milan vs Torino and Verona vs Roma.  Ac Milan won the match it was natural because they have a very good team.  But meanwhile Roma lost the match it is sad. Juventus vs Bologna this match will be very exciting along with Lazio vs Genoa and Napoli vs Sassuolo these matches will also be very exciting. It's rare to see such exciting matches in one day so I'm confused now which team should I enjoy and the match will be the most exciting.

The other bad news for Roma is about their player Dybala, he left the game at the end of the first half and there was no information about his situation for the next games yet.

Unexpected results may happen on early stages of the season, Roma losing to Verona is one of those unexpected ones, but to be fair they haven't been all that amazing at the league most of the time neither so there is really nothing to be shocked about.

I think it is quite important to remember that Roma may not do that amazing this season neither, they will of course be in top 10 there is no doubt about that but the top four places should be very tough for them to get into, it may not happen. Verona is doing great, two for two now and they are looking good, it is just been two games so far of course so we can't say how they will do but for the time being it looks like they are doing fine and it is not going to be shocking if they end up finishing at a decent place.

It was not at all expected in this match that AS Roma felt. Verona played an effective game in this match, they were strong defensively and they could also capitalize on the chances they got into a goal, that was the key to their victory in this match. Dominating the match is not enough to make AS Roma win and that was proven in this match.
It seems they are very difficult to be able to break into the goal from Verona, even they have to miss 2 times in the first half. Although they can create 1 goal, but it is not enough to make them able to win points.

As I recall, Verona last season was almost relegated and it seems, because Verona qualified in the play offs that made Verona still play in Serie A this season. Bologna is now leading 1-0 against Juventus. Juventus had a great win against Udinese. They won 3-0 in this away match. But Juventus' performance at home today seems weak. I don't understand why their performance has deteriorated so suddenly. At 30 minutes we saw the dominance of Bologna's players. The interesting thing is that in these 30 minutes, Juventus was not able to make a single shot. We never expect defensive gameplay from a team like Juventus.

Juventus have talented players like Vlahovic and Chiesa in attack. Juventus' midfield is also quite strong. Juventus still have chances to win after going 1-0 down. Let's hope that in the second half, Juventus will play a full attacking strategy and will be able to get full points from the match.

I think some patience is needed in the case of Pulisic. I agree that he can be a great player for any team and improve the squad when he is in great shape, but this is where the problem is. His level fluctuates too much. He plays one game and as you said he seems to be the most amazing transfer ever for just 20m euros. But then he plays a few games that are much worse. I like him when he plays his best because he is extremely hard to defend against when he is confident in himself and at full speed.

Leao was a key player and I thought that when they can convince him to stay, the next season will be a lot of fun for them. Leao is making a big difference to Milan's game.

Giroud is playing well, too. I think having Pulisic and Leao to his left and right is great because he himself isn't the fastest on the pitch, but the two guys add the speed and he knows all about timing and positioning. The composition of their attack line makes a lot of sense.

What a shock as Lecce equalised the two goals in the second half to end the match with a draw. Lecce shouldn't be taken for granted or underestimated because like you said they won big club like Lazio,and they have also shown their quality for them to be able to draw this game from two goals down. Florentina was the cause of this draw because instead of them coming put to play the game so that they can score more goals,they decided to play a defensive game which gave Lecce the opportunity to pressure them and equalize both goals. Exactly, Christian Pulisic has been a key player in AC Milan two wins this season. As you said he adapted quickly at Milan, maybe the chemistry factor that has been built for a long time between Tomori, Loftus Cheek, Giroud at Chelsea made him quickly integrate and gave Milan an instant advantage. I just realized that these two clubs have been doing transfers very often for a long time, Andriy Shevchenko is one of the most famous.
