As I recall, Verona last season was almost relegated and it seems, because Verona qualified in the play offs that made Verona still play in Serie A this season. But somehow, it looks like Verona in this season looks able to start well, because Verona also managed to get two wins in the first two matches this season. Amazingly, Verona managed to beat AS Roma and although in the match AS Roma was favored to win, but Verona still managed to beat AS Roma.

In an unforeseen turn of events AS Roma suffered a surprise loss to Verona a result that initially seemed implausible. Verona defensive plan worked well despite Roma having the majority of the possession in the game, allowing them to benefit from counterattacks and score twice. As Verona expertly executed defensive strategy and timely scoring proved to be the determining factors, the game demonstrated that domination alone does not ensure victory. This result leaves AS Roma with a painful loss to consider, serving as a reminder that even favourites can lose to efficient tactics and unpredictable circumstances.

Last week was just praised for a very convincing victory but now it's back with less good results at home. It seems that this Juventus sometimes cannot provide the consistency it deserves, let alone playing in front of their fans only to get a draw against Bologna. They should have been more enthusiastic and confident to win but for some reason they seemed to be having trouble again to win this match. If earlier the first goal scored by Vlahovic had not been disallowed by VAR then the score would have been 2-1 for Juventus. Allegri was also a bit careless when he brought Pogba in at such a critical time, even though there are other, better options, such as Filip Kostic, to make the most of the situation.

It took me almost a minute to find Lazio in the standings because I think they are between 5-10th place but I was surprised to see Lazio in 18th place and I forgot last week Lazio was beaten by Lecce, should Lazio lose again today? I don't think Lazio will lose again at home at least a draw is enough they controlled the game and needed the right shot to score a goal I'm sure Lazio can do it.

In other match Napoli was safe with that one goal + Sassuolo played with 10 players after Maxime Lopez got a red card there should be no way for Sassuolo to get points in this match unless they are really lucky. Napoli are ambitious to take over the standings in the near future so they will keep the win.

Milan is approaching its old years, its old quality. It was very important to keep Leao and T. Hernández in order not to regress. Pulisic has settled in as if he's been a member of this team for years. The other signings don't seem to have gone wrong either. What is going on with Lazio now? They have got another loss against Genoa this time just now. It is still 0 points after 2 weeks left behind. Lecce and Genoa were both teams that they could have beaten normally. Teams might not be fully ready at the beginning of the season sometimes of course. But this is still something else I believe.

In the end there is still a huge quality gap between Lazio and those teams. Whatever is going on they had better work on a solution for it. Lazio should be a team fighting for top four in my opinion. Their squad quality is good enough to compete for this goal.

Juventus lol, played at home but the final result was only a draw and in fact, it looks like Juventus also almost lost. What a good start to the season for Christian Pulisic who has scored two goals in his first two games for the AC Milan . it's a new club, new league and yet no problem for the America international who has hit the ground running.

So far he's been exactly what Milan desperately needed last season and which is someone to take some weight off Leao's shoulders and someone who can create off the right wing. We are still in the early stages of the season  but from what we've seen so far, AC Milan are going to be a serious contender for the title this season.

I really wonder as well about the Pogba substitution. He would be better off getting into a game that is safe to be a victory instead of a game that looks like a loss. Years ago I thought that Pogba could be a great midfielder and yes he has his skills, but I never thought he is this exceptional player that many said he is. He had all these injuries and it wasn't going well for him, but now I really think that he is past his best. He is now 30 and it's not simple mentally when they have the fear in mind that another injury could mean the end of their career. I think this season is his last shot and if he can stay without injuries, maybe he gets back into shape again, but it seems that the odds aren't that good that we get to see the 25 years old type of Pogba again.

Yep, it was quite disappointing with so many misses in co-operation and really poor finishing that they even had to wait until the 80th minute to level the scores.
Goal Ferguson really tells us that the cooperation and chemistry of Juventus' midfield and defence is not too good because looking at the conditions, there are so many Juventus players but they just have to be dribbled by 2 players from Bologna which makes this quite disappointing.
There was a chance on 50+ minutes but Dusan's goal was cancelled out by VAR because the ball touched Rabiot.
Allegri must improve the co-operation of the players because in this match it was really lacking in my opinion.

There is nothing surprising other than Roma's defeat in last night's game and this is a pretty bad result after last week they only drew. It seems that Mourinho's troops are still the same as last season when they faced a team they should have won but instead suffered a defeat.

Verona even took the lead with two goals in the first half and you can see how the Roma players were very confused about the host's attacks. Had caught up in the second half but not enough to equalize and the score lasted 2-1 until the game was over. I think Rome will still be on the bad track of defeat if they can't change all of this, especially next week they have to face Milan who are now starting to show their consistency.

There are many people who have lost a lot of betting money because of the Rome vs Verona match.
Verona at the start of the 2023/24 season showed how good their performance was, which last season was underestimated as a bottom club in Serie A.
It was a very exciting match to watch and Mourinho looked a little awkward and didn't believe in the match, I laughed at Mourinho's expression at the goal when Patricio conceded two goals.
But this is only the start of the 2023/24 season and there is still a long way to go so it is likely that Roma will have better strength in the future.

I might bet on this game but I don't want to bet on Roma winning because it's pretty clear from the first game they are still struggling to win. Because of that I bet more on the two teams scoring goals and sure enough they still can't win in this second match.

If we look at Mourinho's expression, maybe it's time for Rome to look for a goalkeeper to replace Rui Patricio? considering that this goalkeeper is quite old and decreased performance also results in easy goals being conceded. Roma's revival will still be highly anticipated, especially as one of the big teams they shouldn't lose like this and Mourinho is a good coach so everything is likely to be repaired.

I can't be sure about Roma because of the recent bad performance we saw from them and we know Mourinho and his players were not stable enough in this season far.
But betting on Ac Milan could be a wise move, however, scoring four goals in this game was not something I know ever predicted to see from Ac Milan.

Disappointing games for many teams actually. Juventus collected a point in the end but teams like Rome, Lazio and Atalanta lost their matches, worse part is with one goal difference. Fiorentina also failed to get a win..
Until now there is Napoli, Verona and AC Milan which are leading the table. I think Napoli and AC Milan will be separated by the next round since they will face Lazio and Rome respectively.

Pulisic making crucial points to make his new team believed they never made a mistake by signing him over to Seria A. He's adapting really quick and making good pairing with his new teammates. Napoli's next match is against Lazio where Napoli will definitely be ahead in terms of victory considering the home match. If Napoli can win against Lazio, they will be unbeaten in the opening three games of the new season. 

We saw Napoli perform brilliantly in the Champions League last season. Napoli made the history of the Champions League in the Super Eight last season. Napoli have started from where they left off last season.
