We have every reason to be skeptical about Juventus' performance this season, as it has taken an extended period for the Old Lady to step up their game and become a formidable competitor to Inter Milan for the scudetto. I've always supported Juventus since the start of the 2023/2024 Seria A season because it's been a long time since they won the scudetto and the club ended up in wreckage when they broke an important rule in the system led them to face ban from participating in elite competitions. We can only be proud of football when our favorite team maintains a winning streak in the system.

Juventus has be a threat to Inter Milan since they took over the second position from AC Milan and they are very close to Inter Milan with points and anything that will make Inter Milan to lose any game in their remaining games, it will give Juventus opportunity to take over the first position in the Italy serie A table.


I believe you know that it will be very difficult for Juventus to win this trophy this season because, Inter Milan has show up more interest on this trophy from the beginning of this tournament to beaten many teams to get to where they are today in the Italy serie A.

Currently Juventus is really trying it's best to be a threat and matching contender against inter Milan and they just need to be more consistent and make sure to get some more wins to complement their current point to aid their move to the top of the table, they actually didn't start the season with a good performance and it's probably affecting their current position on the table.

But for a team who had a weak forma at the beginning of the season currently they should be considered performing well as they were able to get to the top of the table at a point when they picked up a good form and improved performance, inter Milan has actually stayed around the top four team on the team from the begin of this season and Juventus had to work their way through to the top, I think it will be more clear if Juventus will be able to win the scudetto by the end of the season after the UCL round of sixteen will begin and inter Milan will have to maintain a balance between the UCL and the serie A.

De Rossi in my opinion is lucky because in this match they will face Verona, which in quality they are not better than AS Roma, just imagine if they immediately faced Inter Milan or Juventus for example, it would be a huge pressure. But even though they will face Verona, this is still the first challenge for De Rossi. Because if they lose, there will immediately be discordant voices about the quality of the coach who replaced Jose Mourinho.
This is the first challenge for him that must be answered well. Not just being able to win, but in terms of the game he must also be able to show a game that is fun to watch. Because for me the game is the first thing I will see other than the results at the end of the match. A promising game will be a hope for AS Roma. They had good possession and I like what Roma showed in this match but indeed if you look at the whole that happened, they still have a lot to get used to because seeing from what happened in this match we actually know that even though their possession is good but they still have problems for teamwork especially when utilizing opportunities.

Roma 2-0 Verona

Roma enjoying the game between them and Verona, as they are leading the game with two goals, which both goals was scored in the first half. Lukaku broke the deadlock on the 17th minutes with a good strike, and Pellegrini scored the second goal on the 25th minutes with a powerful shot to find the back of the post. Roma took possession of the first half, as Verona is no match for them.

The second half is on and Roma is still in dominance of the game as Verona has a poor defense and a weak midfield to combat the pressure that Roma is mounting on them. Di Rossi first match, is a good luck to Roma, because it is certain that Roma will win the match.

There is a slight difference in the first half and the second half. In the first half Roma looked aggressive producing 2 scores at the start but in the second half Roma almost conceded several times but fortunately when Verona had a penalty kick opportunity Duric failed to score wasting the opportunity (I think he was tired) Lol
However, in the end Verona was able to score 1 score thanks to Folorunsho but in the end Roma still won with a score of 2-1.

Yeah actually Juventus seem too relaxed on the league table because if it was when Juventus was still on there good performance Inter Milan doesn't use  to be much of a rival against them but what I'm seeing this reason on inter Milan performance is very surprising and encouraging however I'm not disputing the fact that Inter Milan doesn't play well on there previous seasons but what I'm actually trying to say is that there performance on this season is never like there previous season and is actually obvious that they are the only team that stands in between Juventus and the first position of the league.

Although with the current performance of Juventus I doubt if they can be able to lead this league season because there efforts is not enough, although they are almost the same points with Inter Milan but before they can be able to push inter Milan down is only if inter will lose there match against Napoli while Juventus wins there match against Lecce which is still not certain.

Roma's overall performance against Verona was very good. I wouldn't say that Roma dominated the match. But their performance was good. Verona's players were more attacking than Roma's in this match. However, after leading 2-0 in the first half, Roma won easily. But I am not sure if Roma team will be able to maintain consistency under De Rossi.

This is Roma's first win in four games and a good welcoming performance from Daniele De Rossi. The tattooed coach has gotten this important win that has moved them to eight in the Seria A. They had more ball possession but fewer goal attempts than Verona. Being a former player who spent about eighteen years in Roma he would get the support of the players and the fans. It was also great to see Lukaku getting a goal and I hope he will gain the favour of the new coach because he was highly cherished by Jose Mourinho.  

Although with the current performance of Juventus I doubt if they can be able to lead this league season because there efforts is not enough, although they are almost the same points with Inter Milan but before they can be able to push inter Milan down is only if inter will lose there match against Napoli while Juventus wins there match against Lecce which is still not certain.

I don't see any reason why you should doubt Juventus' ability to win the League. They are just two points below Inter Milan which means that if Inter loses any game they would be able to top the league. We still have to give them the benefit of the doubt because the league is still fresh. I really want them to win the league because they have suffered so many sanctions from the FA and they deserve some compensation.

A decent home win for Roma with a score of 2-1 and I can't believe they did it quickly from the first half. Roma managed to score two goals and it was all thanks to the strategy of their new coach De Rossi. Who would have thought that at the start of his debut as Roma coach he could immediately have a good impact on the team's victory and I hope this doesn't stop here. Verona was only able to get one goal back and had the opportunity to kick a penalty earlier but failed to score a goal.

Verona is not a top club, but for some reason, this club often causes problems for Roma. head to head they are quite even. and in the end in this match Roma won 2 - 1 with de Rossi's debut. In fact, Roma was quite dominant at the start of the match, but Verona also had quite a lot of resistance, even though they had less ball possession, they were able to show quite good attacks. It's just that the accuracy is less. Meanwhile here, even though Roma only had 2 shots on target, they were able to optimize all of them into goals. At least this is a good start to de Rossi's debut.

Now, Milan is still playing aginst Udinese.
Even though Milan was leading at the start, Udinese was only able to score 1 goal in return for them. Until now the temporary position is still a draw 1 - 1.

In the second half AS Roma's game actually started to get a bit chaotic even though there was a penalty kick which the Verona players failed to score. However, today at least AS Roma has tasted victory again at home to restore the enthusiasm of the players in their own team, because AS Roma still needs more wins in the upcoming matches to be able to improve its position in the standings. Even though AS Roma is not far behind the teams in the top four, Roma is still far behind the current leaders.

Yes, a very important victory for Roma, but above all very important to increase the morale of the team, it is never easy to change coaches especially when a top coach like Mourinho is replaced, but Daniele De Rossi is a symbolic man for Roma fans and I think he will be able to quickly make us forget about José Mourinho. However, it will be difficult to match the performances of the Portuguese coach who managed to win the conference league and get Roma to the Europa League final last year

AS Roma's result against Verona today was a very good start for their new and young manager Daniele De Rossi who was appointed earlier in the week after the club sacked their former manager Jose Mourinho. But I don't think it should be the reason we should now think that Jose Mourinho will be easily forgotten from the club because for the fans of the club to forget Mourinho, De Rossi have to achieve better than the Portuguese manager.

The win will definitely give De Rossi the needed confidence to further deliver good tactical approaches in to games that'll help them win games but it doesn't mean that he's surely gonna succeed. He still have to win many more matches to be considered a better manager than Mourinho at the club

The game between Milan and Udinese ended as draw in the first half. Mike Maignan left the field on the 35th minutes and interrupted the match, because he said that one of Udinese fan said words of racism to him, so he called the attention of the referee and left the field. In few minutes the match started back and Udinese got the opportunity to equalize the goal.

We need to say NO to racism as football is a game that had brought both the blacks and whites with other color of skin together as one. The second half will be a tough one because both teams will be struggling to win the game, since the score is balanced. I hope to see Milan win this match because they are capable of winning it.

Of course, this victory is very important for As Roma, especially since this is De Rossi's first match as As Roma's new coach replacing Mourinho who was recently fired. Winning means a lot to increase the confidence of players and coaches. And I haven't seen De Rossi do anything against As Roma, even though they won this match, I think that's normal because Verona is also not a tough team. And fortunately Verona failed to take a penalty in this match, maybe if the penalty had been taken the result would have been different. AC Milan was able to score an early goal through Loftus Cheek in the 31st minute and Udinese was able to equalize in the 42nd minute through a goal scored by Samardzic.

The second half has started and we'll see whether AC Milan is able to record a win in this match or whether they will be held to a draw by Udinese in today's match. Apart from that, AC Milan is actually really aiming for victory in order to catch up from Juventus who are above their ranking.

I doubt that José Mourinho will go to Napoli next year, Mourinho is asking for a very high salary, and Napoli is still paying Rudi Garcia's salary, I believe that they will most likely still keep Walter Mazzarri and then get rid of both him and Rudi Garcia, but it's difficult see Mourinho at Napoli next year

Daniele De Rossi is preparing for his first game with Roma which is tomorrow evening. This can be one of the things I'm waiting for excitedly in the Serie A these days. Because Roma were managed by Mourinho for a really long time period. They were successful with him in European tournaments like the Conference League.

However Mourinho couldn't fulfil the board's expectations in the Serie A which must be the main reason why they parted ways with him. If De Rossi manages to make progress here as well then his contract would probably be extended by a year.  

Roma is definitely mistaken in using a coach like De Rossi in this situation they have. Roma in the worst situation could get the ticket for the next Europe League for the next season with their coach Mounriho but they decided to get him fired from the team and now De Rossi started working there while the whole team was in the bad situation and obviously there's more pressure in this young coach, while I'm not sure if he can handle this situation in Roma because he is not experienced at all and Roma is going to be his first team as a coach.

Roma started 2024 well by beating Verona. They are currently in the mid-eighth place in the rankings, but there is not much of a point difference with the leading teams. They can move themselves a few places higher with a win or two. It was a reassuring start for Jose Mourinho, he is a coach with enough experience to continue.

Or will he leave the team? There are such rumors. Whatever happens, if we focus on today's victory, Roma looked good.
