Juventus will only want Kroos if he is a free agent because they have a strategy to hunt experienced players but are free, to save transfer cost. They succeeded with this strategy in last ten years and are continuing to do this. Rumor is Kroos will receive an offer from Real Madrid to expand his contract with them. Only Modric will leave Real Madrid, not Kroos as he is still useful for Real Madrid.

So true, juventus never showed intention to get him from real madrid. juventus was only looking for players who can be paid cheaply. Kross will not go there and ancellotti is still needing him to stay in the club much longer than before. It means that if kross will not leave from the club.
