Roma without doubt was leading at half time with a 2:1 scoreline but they weren't the first team to score in the game as Inter Milan's Francesco Acerbi was one one who opened scoreline inside the first 20 minutes of the game. However, Roma equalized 11 minutes later before Faraone scored again to give the home side the lead before the end of the first half of the game.
Inter Milan have been the most impressive and consistent Italian team since the start of the season and I wasn't expecting them to lose against Roma. UEFA Champions League competition returns this week and Inter Milan who will not play till next week wouldn't be going in to the competition under pressure as they're leading the league table with a good number of points

you don't need to be sad seeing Lukaku failure when he wasted an opportunity because it wasn't just once but has happened many times before and for me the 2 scores that Roma managed to secure in the first half was one of the best contributions that De Rossi has made but unfortunately there is a slight error here because De Rossi failed to stabilize the players.
I mean in the first half Roma was already ahead by 2 scores and at that time De Rossi should have been able to set a strategy to survive better until the end of the match but looking at the playing pattern of the Roma players it seemed like they were very ambitious in wanting to score more but that method was careless because the players do not focus on defense but only focus on scoring more scores.

The game was pretty close for a while, but this game was another example to see what it takes to beat Inter Milan. As you said Lukaku had two more chances and if you want to beat Inter Milan, those chances can't be missed or otherwise Inter Milan will immediately punish those foregone opportunities. This would have been an impressive win since I am sure that hardly anyone would have expected Roma to have a chance. But the game ended as expected eventually. Inter Milan is a different calibre and they are in great shape. Their stats are only getting better with every week passing by and they are not showing any weaknesses except for their elimination from the Coppa Italia.

Inter Milan does have quite good strength, and it was proven that in the match against Roma, they could provide a two-goal difference. Roma at least tried hard to keep the match won by Roma. Intermilan is very strong club. Roma was able taking the advantage of intermilan but intermilan was just changing the result during the second half. De Rossi honestly in my view is someone who is reaping the fruits built by Mourinho as the Roma team is playing with the same style and philosophy,I don't see anything changed from them in their game play since De Rossi took over.

Roma is not equal to the intermilan. This club has been wasting so many chances. The golden opportunity received by lukaku to scored another goal but he was again giving another disappointment to fans. The goal keep of roma was so bad. He was not always ready in catching the ball. The first goal has proven that if goal keeper was making a mistake.
The header from intermilan's player was not that strong, but since the goalkeeper was not ready to block it, then he did nothing. Roma needs to replace the goal keeper. I saw some great saves from sommer. The quality of goal keepers owned by these clubs are different.

Roma has mediocre goal keeper while intermilan has good goal keeper. No doubt that if roma can concede a lot of goals against intermilan. It's caused by there are so many weakness owned by roma especially on the leftback and goal keeper.

I expected at least both of these clubs to share the points yesterday, I didn't that game but it was also obvious  the attacking pressure from Inter Milan wasn't well handled by the host yesterday event.  Some levels of hope slides in but they still couldn't hold down that score. Congratulations to Inter Milan as they've proved otherwise well once again.

I agree with your assessment of today's game, but betting on Napoli seems unlikely. They've struggled this season, especially after their Verona escape. Verona isn't top-tier this year.
