When Bologna was decide to sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic on 2022 and hire Thiago Motta as the next manager most people were doubt to him this because his career as a manager previously doesn't run well because before train Bologna Motta was sacked from Genoa on 2019 and he also withdraw from his position as Spezia manager but apparently Motta has prove to the people that he is the right manager for Bologna because last season Motta can able to bringing Bologna to avoiding relegation zone even at that time Bologna can finish at 9th place after end of the season
