There have been moments this season when Napoli have shown their potential. Today was one of those days. I don't believe this win will change much this season. The match that I feel can change their season is the UCL second leg against Barcelona. If they'll be able to knock out Barcelona they'll start believing that they can do something good this season.

I can't explain what Napoli's problem really is because they have the squad to compete at the top of the league. 
Sassoulo is a team that's very horrible at the moment so Napoli scoring 6 against them is not too much of a big deal.  They're that bad.
Still, kudos to Napoli for such a huge win. I'm more happy for Osimhen. It's a good thing he just started scoring immediately after he returned from the Afcon so the break doesn't affect his confidence.

Napoli really went berserk this time and they won by 6 goals which made Sassuolo unable to do anything else. I see this as anger that has been pent up for a long time and it has been a long time since we saw Napoli win with a big score like this. It seems they don't want to continue to be criticized for their erratic performance.

Yes they were able to wallop sassuolo that number of goals but that doesn't mean they are back on their feet. This is the best performance they've had so far in a while but I doubt they would have been able to beat a club like Roma since if we look at it, sassuolo are in 18th position and haven't won their last six games so this win shouldn't be something a club like Napoli should rejoice over especially when you know they were the winners of the scudetto last season.
Let's hope it will be victory here on out for them else it will be a shame that they thrashed a club 6-1 and that was were it ended.

It seems that Calzona managed to do his best job to raise the enthusiasm of his players because in today match Napoli fell behind through Racic goal in the 17th minute. But this did not make the Napoli players suffer a setback because they managed to get up and launch many attacks where they were able to score 6 goals. It is a pretty long time ago that Napoli was able to play such a dominant game like this. I guess this is the first game that is legit a reminder of how they played last season. Their whole game is so determined that one must be shaking the head why they are in the middle of the standings these days. But I have seen quite often that they have the chances to win their games dominantly and yet they can't score the goals. Maybe this was the game that was missing to finally bring back their self-esteem. If they can maintain this form then it might be the perfect preparation for the second leg in the Champions League against Barcelona.

I didn't really expect Napoli to score 6 goals in this match and Osimhen scored a hattrick. Of course, this was a good day for Napoli even though they were 1-0 behind from Uroš Račić's goal and they came back with 6 goals in return. However, I'm not sure they can do the same in the next match against Juventus and I really doubt the quality of this team.

The next two matches are certainly important for Napoli before they play the second leg of the Champions League. If Napoli can maintain their good form against Juventus and Torino, then the second leg of the Champions League could be very interesting.

I think in games like these it is not about repeating the same in the next game, but to finally have this experience again that on a good day they can destroy their opponent and not only win by a small margin and have a close game until the final whistle is blown. Napoli is still able to hurt their opponents hard. But they have had issues to get the best out of their team. This finally worked out for them this season and that was a win that was deserved exactly the way it happened. They didn't only score the goals, but they had this game under their control all the time and created countless of chances.

In his last week that he has not being able to score might be due to his return from the international duty which he is yet to put himself together and be at its best for the club again. I am very impressed that he is the front man for the club now and has scored some goals in their last match. I have great hope in Osimehn and I know he can do better than this just like he did in his last season with Napoli when they won the Scudetto. I won’t say they’re back fully after today’s victory. They need to show this consistency for some time more again to ascertain that they are at their best and will want to give other teams difficult time to beat them when they meet. Despite all of the critics and bs, Victor Oshime has coke back up to  show how and what he really can offer the club. Rudi Garcia sent them to a bad position and they should have done something much earlier to combat all of these happenings.
One would think they're doing well but I don't see them qualifying for the Champions League Competition next season as they've nkt attained the heights needed to get that.

Tougher test than I can imagine lies ahead and they have to begin working as a team to achieve all of these points. I have no idea about the new coach though I believe would try to make improvements.

I think Sassuolo is a very easy team to beat, but at least this is a good start for Francesco Calzona to make his players play great and give Napoli a win. Osimhen missed many matches in this season and it affects his personal scoring stats and Napoli's performance generally. His return and good contributions recent matches show that he will be very important for Napoli in last matches of season. They need him to have goals, get points and race with five above clubs.

Dybala has sensitive body and in the last season, he got many injuries and it's part of reasons Juventus did not sign a new contract with him and let him go as a free player. Roma with Jose Mourinho convinced Dybala to join their project but he unluckily failed to have good fitness in last season. In many situations, he easily got injuries by not too serious tackles from opponent defenders. It is different in this season, as he got less injuries and needed less time for recovery.

With Dybala and Lukaku, surely any coach will try to combine them as they have skills to support each other and cover each other weakness.

That was the reason why Jose Mourinho did not utilize Dybala's abilities as a regular player in the past because he was prone to injury.
