Serie A is indeed a much stronger league compare to 5-6 seasons ago where you see the regular faces competing for the title and also coming for the champions league, I'll give that credit to the Bologna side, they did a very nice job to be on that position. Yes it is as you said, just imagine that a club of that calibre that dominated the Serie A for decades or at least for a very long time would not win five games in a row. I totally agree with your view. It is shocking that team like Juventus with its great history and success in Serie A can not even win five games in row. While they might not be as strong as teams like Manchester City and Real Madrid they are still a big deal in Italian football and should be doing better. It is worrying that club is not doing enough to fix this problem and it is fair to wonder if this is still same Juventus that used to be so dominant. Lack of action and silence from club is not good and it is time for them to take charge and make real changes to get back to their former greatness.

I feel they might have allowed for a gap to emerge between them and Inter Milan. Yes Inter Milan failed again to achieve big things in the Champions League - or actually they did last season because a final is a big thing - but still I believe that Inter Milan will be the dominant team for several years to come at least. This looks very solid and they have confirmed this season what they ended with last season. Sometimes that is a good indicator that the fundamentals are good.


When you look at Napoli, I think everyone thought they would be the team that is above all others in the future, but there you go. Inter Milan is different and Juventus will have a lot of work to do to make up for that gap that they allowed to emerge in the first place. It won't be easy.
