I think it's just a rumor and what is clear is that Gasperini is in talks with Atalanta to renew his long-term contract and this has been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. Gasperini's contract will end in 2025 and winning the European League title has resulted in him being offered a contract extension, the rest of the decision is now in Gasperini's hands.
