Finally, Juventus won a game in Serie A after so long without a win or a loss. They won a game against a team that has not won a game for so long, Juventus vs Monza is quite a match. Finally, Juventus was able to get a win in this league, lol. They had been getting only one point for so long that I almost did not believe they would win this match. Monza did not come into this match with a good form at all. So on paper, it should have been an easy win for Juventus. Anyway, this season is over for both of them. Monza is going to finish or has finished in the 12th position. Juventus has finished in the third. Unless Atalanta has to say something about that.

No one predicted Empoli will win against AS Roma. Empoli is a weak team and they are in the relegation zone. Unfortunately, AS Roma couldn't get the points, they are defeated by Empoli.

The chances that Atlanta was going to win their game was actually very high which they did today against Torino replicating their Europa league finals score again against Torino this evening, Atlanta is at the forth position and are most likely going to finish at that spot, while Juventus may actually get to still finish at the third position keeping them qualified for the champions league next season which is very important to them.

Juventus were unable to get back into the race after they decline which was linked to some injuries they had within the season but then if they were good enough they would have been able to get back on and in worse case finish at the second position but then third is fair yet not a perfect finish for a team of their caliber who has just the serie A alone to play the whole of this season, so it was assumed they had nothing to distract them and keep them firm and focused enough to be able to stay in the title race a d possible get to win the trophy this season.

I wasn't expecting Atlanta to have the kind of performance they had this season and that's why it actually feel embarrassing that Juventus who appeared much better earlier is now having to drag spot on the table with them of which they shouldn't be their equal if they had maintained their form they had at the beginning of the season, Atlanta has been able to achieve a whole lot of success this season.

The defeat of Frosinone against Udinese cost them a lot. It was only one goal and they paid for that badly. I believe if they could just score one goal or not getting that goal against Udinese then they would be safe and Empoli will be the one which relegate.
After all Frosinone always relegate once they join Serie A and this time was not different..
Talking about relegation, there is Parma and Como 1907 that will replace the teams that fallen from Serie A while Venezia and Cremonese have to face each other for the last ticket to Serie A.

I still think that Inter Milan is disappointed about their elimination from the Champions League. Everything was looking as if Inter Milan was going to be one of the biggest favorites to win the title. Crazy that Atletico Madrid was able to beat them. I thought Inter Milan is clearly the better team. Winning the first game 1-0 was actually a pretty perfect result as that is the game that Inter Milan loves. Take the lead and then use their quality to play perfect counter attacks, but for some reason and with a little bit of luck Atletico made it through to then lose against Dortmund. Football can be weird at times.

For next season I think that Inter Milan will again be the favorite to win Serie A. I don't see Juventus as being good enough to win the title. Actually they allowed the worst almost to happen. If Bologna didn't drop points, Juventus would have probably dropped out of the top four, but thanks to the fact that they got one more CL qualifier, it would have still worked out for them.

Yes you are right Napoli last home game against Lecce was a disappointing end to season. They had many chances to score but didn't take them. This has been problem for Napoli all season. Game ending in a draw was not surprising, since both teams have drawn many games. On the other hand, Atalanta's win over Torino was great way to end the season following their big win against Bayer Leverkusen. They will try to finish in the top three or may be four in their last league game which would be a great accomplishment.
