It's been a while since I heard from Bonucci and the last time I saw him was playing for Union Berlin in the bundesliga. After that, if I'm not mistaken, he went to a Turkish club and maybe it was time for him to retire. All his best achievements were while still at Juventus and after that only his glory remained.

Even after leaving Juventus, he rarely got playing minutes and that was one of the reasons he wanted to retire.
