The point there is just in the fact that Atalanta had almost nothing to loose from that game so loosing it actually wasn't really a big deal, they only had to make sure they defend the goals and get a draw if it were possible but winning wasn't priority for them, it's even possible they would want to make sure they don't end the season with an injured player so they will just let that game end fairly just like it did.

They were even able to get good number of goals such that the goal difference was just a goal of which they would have been at equal goals with their opponent and get an equalizer.i had expected more from Atlanta because by their performance they were even better than fiorentina, even statistically, they were even ahead of fiorentian,w with which we could say it was just a lucky day for fiorentina to end the season in victory, they were even lucky to score the first goal of which they later won the game, Atalanta was getting equalizer doe their first two goals.

Fiorentina chances of making the European league were already slim to none while Atalanta has secured their top 4 spot. It understandable that you chose not to bet on this match as lack of stakes and motivation for both teams made it risky and unpredictable affair. There are many things that need to be improved, starting from forming a more solid team and management's ability to manage the team so that points are not deducted for making fatal mistakes. Five teams deserve to be in the champions league and even though Atalanta had to lose to Fiorentina this would not change anything for Atalanta considering they had a good season which not only secured a place in the champions league next season but also became champions of the European league this season. I think they have that mentality so that next season we should expect another surprise from them.

For Roma and Lazio, they have fought well and maybe they can do more later in Serie A so they can compete again with the top teams. It's not easy considering that changes from other teams make them marginalized and this will certainly add more motivation for both of them.

Meanwhile, for the three teams that were relegated, they will never give up even if they have to be relegated and I hope they can work even harder even if they have to go down to Serie B. The season long journey has finally come to an end. And several teams managed to get tickets to the UCL and European League. But it is very unfortunate that last season's champions, Napoli, did not get anything this season. In fact, Napoli only finished below Torino this season and had to be satisfied with their 10th place ranking.

In the next season we can see 5 teams from Serie A who will compete in the UCL. And one team that very rarely qualifies for the UCL is Bologna. And now we see this team will compete in the UCL next season. And actually seeing Bologna succeed in getting tickets to UCL was an unexpected surprise. Both teams played like they had nothing to lose in this match, and that was natural because whatever the result actually didn't have much influence on their position. They played openly and many goals were scored in the first half, there were 5 goals scored in the first half, Atalanta 2 and Fiorentina 3.
I think what makes Fiorentina play well like this is because they play freely, it's different when they played in the final against Olympiacos, they carried a burden and that might be one of the factors they didn't play like this.

A tough match indeed, and a game Atalanta was the better side to secure a win but I still can't get it why the coach of the Atalanta side had to make those crazy decisions by taking the only player (Lookman) who adds more pressure to the defense of Fiorentina, the visitors wasn't as good as to say they deserve the win and winning that game doesn't change anything like making them (Fiorentina) qualify for any Europe competition or at least get a play off in any, is so painful.
Lookman was the main man in that game, if only he had stayed a bit longer in the second half I believe the game would have ended in their favor, let's forget that it was their (Atalanta) last game of the season with nothing big to fight for but still on still ending the league in a grand style would have been better, home and away I don't think Atalanta got anything from Fiorentina, not even a point.
