Yes, I was also confident that Napoli would win (after all, the reigning champions were playing against a team from the bottom of the table), and the bookmakers were offering odds of 1.62. But Lecce just missed a penalty, and it's almost the 60th minute, and the score is still 0-0. Now Napoli's victory is priced at 2+. If Lecce had scored the penalty, my bet would have been wasted. Napoli are currently occupying the first position on the board and I must agree that they have not really been performing well lately but calling them the weakest in comparison with other clubs in the UCL is understandable but in the Italian league we can't really say they are the weakest, they are three points ahead of roma and Milan, they are in the best position to win the league. Napoli and Conte are ambitious so they will not satisfy with only Serie A and Scudetto but surely want to perform as best as possible and go as farthest as possible in UEFA Champions League. These wins in Serie A are good for Napoli maintaining their first position in the domestic league while are like boosters for their next matches in UEFA Champions League.

A latest injury of Kevin De Bruyne and his absence in coming weeks will have possible big impacts on Napoli's attacking system in general. Not sure Napoli will manage to be eligible for a next phase in Champions League without Kevin.

I would say that those who have what it takes to aspire to more titles for obvious reasons undertake to do so.

I mean, it's Allegri, we know how his teams (don't) play football. Allegri is great to fix difficult situations and usually is not a manager that asks for specific players, he is quite good working with what he has available. But regarding his football style, well, we can't really expect his team(s) to play an enjoyable football.

Considering the squad , napoli is quite weak. But their performance is  good. Coach Antonio conte's match strategy is good. He has been able to build a great bond between the players. So even  though there are some weaknesses within the squad, their performance is strong. And Napoli has been able to keep the top spot in the table.
Roma's situation is also  very similar. Their squad is not that strong  either. They have only been able to score 8 goals in 8 matches. But Roma has scored 18 points in 8 matches.

On the other hand, Milan and juventus have strong squads but their performance is a bit weak. Especially I think Inter Milan has the strongest squad. But their performance is irregular. They have scored only 15 points in 8 matches.

But each team will still play  many matches. So Juventus, AC milan and Inter Milan still have a chance to perform well and occupy the top spot in the table.

Well, whatever the situation, the current standings are a measure of the strength of the teams in Serie A. So, we can't really call Napoli the weakest. Based on the rankings, it's more accurate to say Napoli is the strongest. Or, you could also say, Napoli is very strong. Compared to all the teams in the UCL, perhaps we could say Napoli is a little weak, but not the weakest either.

And for a team to reach the top truly requires more effort. And the truth is, only those with a champion's mentality can reach first place.

For me, Atalanta was unlucky to fail to get 3 points, while on the other side, AC Milan, who didn't dominate the match, should have been satisfied with a draw. My view is based on the match statistics. Atalanta launched barrage of attacks into AC Milan area, but they were unlucky to settle for a draw, disappointing both them & the fans at Gewiss Stadium.

They have return to top the table with some points they secured yesterday, and you are saying Napoli is the weakest club in this Italian league. I don't think so because they are using some points to top other clubs in this season. Atalanta were really unlucky. They could not score many goals despite hitting the target 4 times in 17 attacking attempts. They managed to score only 1 goal after hitting the target 4 times. They could not even score as much as they dominated the match. After conceding a goal in the first 4 minutes, Atalanta was in control of the entire match. Even though they equalized in the 35th minute of the match, they had to be content with sharing the points in the end. AC Milan's defense was very strong in this match and also lucky.

They earned all three points by scoring just one goal, and the important thing was that they won the match. The match between Atalanta and Milan ended in a draw, so both teams earned a point. You could say Atalanta missed out on the win because they played much better than Milan. I expected a better performance from Milan.
