Roma's performance has  surprised us all. The team is not very strong. But , their performance is stable. Roma have scored only 12 goals in 11 matches. On the other hand,  Inter milan have scored 26 goals in 11 matches.

Roma have proven that they can maintain consistent performance despite not  having a strong squad. And Gasperini  should be thanked for that. If Roma had experienced strikers in their attack, we would have seen a better  performance from this team. Roma should  add experienced strikers to their squad in the winter transfer window.
Roma's performance against Udinese was very organized. Udinese players tried to score. They also attacked a lot. But Roma has one of the strongest defenses in Serie A. So  in the end they got a nice 2 - 0 win.

Roma played really effectively in this match. Despite being one of Italy's strongest teams, Udinese didn't create many chances. Roma capitalized on this and secured the victory with two goals. They've taken on a different spirit with Gasperini. If they continue like this, their title challenge will continue until the end of the season. Perhaps they'll even win. Inter Milan always know downtown find their ways back to the top, few weeks back they were somewhere below top four and now they are backed at the top, although with same points as Roma but they sure look like they have the stability to stay longer at the top than Roma following them at the second position with same points but Napoli still have the problem of consistency and that has kept them not holding the top position long enough but they are still in the sage zone wherein anything can still happen and they can be able  to get things really fixed for them to see themselves contending strong for the title this season.

I think Inter are currently the best team in Serie A. They have suffered 3 defeats, but 2 of them were early in the season. One was against Napoli, the other against Juve, so they were normal points losses against big teams. Other than that, they are winning and not drawing.
