I think Milan will maintain their lead in the league by the end of this week. Of course they will wait for Napoli not to do so or get past in score difference at least.

By the way I'm also one of those (probably the minority  ) who think Como can get a point from Roma. I really don't like Roma's game.

Snowball effect you say? I'm not sure about that. But we have an example of it recently of course. Napoli drew with Frankfurt and right after that they lost to Bologna. Udinese and Bologna are different kind of teams though but we will see.

Atalanta seem to be operating with a similar style of Rafael Benitez when he was coach at Liverpool back then sometime in 2005, when the team was more focused on the UCL more than the league or any other domestic competitions like the FA cup or the Carling cup but would rather channel all the energy in the most coveted trophy in Europe. I suspect Atalanta might be using same strategy and that's why they are getting the results they are getting in the UCL, probably not considered as one of the favourites but this season has been very phenomenal for the former Europa League champions.

Atalanta are performing very impressively. Despite their poor form in Serie A, they are still in a good position in the Champions League, occupying the 5th place in the Champions League points table with 4 wins and 1 draw from 6 matches. But their position in Serie A is 12th, having only 1 win and 4 losses in the last 5 matches. I don't think that underestimating the domestic league and giving more importance to the Champions League will be a positive or fruitful aspect, especially from the group stage. They should definitely give importance to other leagues as well as the Champions League and try to occupy a respectable position in the points table. They certainly played well against Chelsea and earned the important 3 points, for which they definitely deserve praise.

Am figuring this to be about a thing of priority for the team in the different competitions where the team are participating, because similar to Villarreal in the Spanish league they have a successful winning run in domestic league games but are doing very badly in the UCL with 5 losses and 1 draw in 6 games. Perhaps this isn't an underestimation of any of the competition by the team but it's about where the team priority lies on in the season, and for Atalanta it's in the UCL.

After a poor display in the UEFA Champions League, which Antonio Conte claimed was due to fatigue, I hope the players have rested enough to take on Udinese. Based on current performance, I don't see Udinese winning the game. Napoli would be coming back like a wounded lion to continue the chase for the title. If the odds is high, I might risk the bet on Udinese. Napoli dropping points will be highly celebrated by AC Milan.

I guess you mean Como to beat Lazio because the Cremonese and Lazio game will be in February next year. These two games might be part of my bets this week. Hoping to get some little bucks from them.

I don't think Napoli will drop points this week because Udinese is having a worse season. Udinese have only two wins and three losses in their last five weeks, while Napoli have three wins, one loss, and one draw.
 For Inter to stay in the title race, a win away at Genoa is crucial.

I think they are much more than what they are demonstrating in the championship, Altalanda is not a team that should be 12th in the standings and can do much more but currently there have been various changes of coach that have destabilized the team but surely it will return to being as great as it once was.

I really like the competition in the Italian league. The points of some teams at the beginning of the point table are almost equal and if one team makes a mistake, the other team will move forward. We saw such competition in the Italian league last season too. Maybe we will have to wait until the last match of the season to see the team that wins the league title this season. However, AC Milan has returned to good performance, which is definitely great news for Milan fans because this team was struggling to perform well for a long time and finally they have returned to consistent performance. Now the three teams that we see in the first, second and third positions of the point table, it is already expected that any of these three teams will secure the league title.

By form, they're more better than Sassuolo so they're expected to win the match, but Torino gave them a tough time so I'm just wondering if they'll survive Sassuolo. So far, the players are giving their best but they just need to keep being positive for as long as possible cause if they lose their next match, Napoli could top the table.
 Atalanta could be motivated by the victory against Chelsea to do better in their next match, it was a suprising defeat anyways cause I judged them by their poor performance in the league never knew they'll be that lucky, I hope it motives them to do better in the Serie A.

If AC Milan draw their this weekend i will not be surprised because that is what Serie A league teams use to do, they don’t know how to keep their lead and remain at the top, Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma have been in the top of the league table before but now they are struggling to get back at the top because they bottled their lead and allow another team to take the lead, AC Milan have the squad to perform well and win the league title this season but I will not be surprised if they did not win the league.

I think these teams are very serious when it comes to winning the league and from my understanding there is a good competition in the league that is why we can not predict the team that will win the league at the end of the season, Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma are still in the title race and after the January transfer window and many teams sign players, the league title will be better than how it is currently.

I actually see AC Milan as the team that will be able to maximize their chances in Serie A this season, because Milan is not playing in the Champions League and has also been eliminated from the Coppa Italia. Therefore, Milan's focus will be entirely on Serie A, which will make it difficult for other teams like Napoli and Inter to maintain consistency when facing such a busy schedule in the second half of the season. Furthermore, Napoli is not in a particularly good position in the Champions League, and even if Napoli were to qualify for the Champions League, there's no guarantee they would win their qualifying matches straight away to advance to the round of 16.

AC Milan is a team that in my opinion will prove itself this season. They have hired a very good coach, Massimo Allegri, who will certainly be able to make the difference.
He has to be careful when making his moves, but he has a lot of experience in Serie A, so i am sure he could win the championship without any problems.

I don’t share in this your optimism towards this smaller clubs and why you feel Napoli and Lazio will lose not even draw. I don’t see how this will work out, Napoli has not been very impressive overall but their league performance has been a bit better.

Cremonese beating Lazio is actually the one I can be tempted to agree considering Lazio hasn’t been in a good form, I don’t know about others.

Cremonese beating Lazio is actually the one I can be tempted to agree considering Lazio hasn’t been in a good form, I don’t know about others.

If anyone is supposed to win their match amongst the teams you mentioned then it's definitely going to be Napoli with reason that they're the best amongst all, in a better position on the standings and playing against a midtable team, Udinese might be very tough cause I've got to understand that these midtable teams try their best to resist defeat sometimes when they play big team but I think that Napoli would be so careful to drop point and even if they do, it would be due to a draw.

With the momentum the team is playing with now, they can do anything to win the league this season, they were suppose to be among the title contenders last season, but injury and some poor form affected their performance last season which I think has been corrected this season because they have won some matches they lost last season which is a great development for them.

From their next fixture in the Italian Serie A, I think they can still maintain because their next fixtures is a bit soft and they can win them, and if they are able to win them, they can win the league especially if they also did the same to big teams.

Udinese is certainly not a weak team, but they probably won't be able to beat Napoli. A draw is still possible, but beating Napoli will be quite difficult. Although, if Napoli is still in poor form, then Udinese might be able to win, but I don't expect that to happen.

Hosting the match might benefit Udinese, but it won't make them perform better than Napoli. However, Napoli, who recently lost to Benfica in the UCL, is starting to be doubted by everyone. But we all know that Conte is a specialist in the domestic league. He might not be good enough when it comes to UCL strategy, but in Serie A, he rarely disappoints.

Lecce ended with a narrow victory, and I'd even say they could have won more if they'd been more clinical in attack. Pisa couldn't do anything on the pitch, but Lecce still earned three important points, temporarily moving them out of the relegation zone.

It's too early in the season to say this, and AC Milan still have 24 more matches to complete this season with Scudetto. They have played only 14 matches so far and the remaining 24 matches are too many and very challenging for them.

Maintaining player fitness, avoid injuries and have best players for remaining matches is really hard, and it does not only come from AC Milan efforts but also from destiny. Player injuries can occur anytime and the club, coach and players can not control and avoid it entirely. With AC Milan, they can play well with their best players but alternative players don't have too good quality. It contains high risk of declining performances if AC Milan get one or several injured players in coming months.

I think the Napoli game would be interesting to watch since they're battling to stay at the top 4, it won't be a bad idea if the secure a point or all get a win today against Udinese. Ever since they drop their favorite number 1 spot on the log they have been managing till date even if they get the job done these Napoli guys that some of us felt will be the league leaders of the Italian Serie A haven't been at their best but I sure hope they bounce back this one we hardly see Ac Milan drop a point, I feel it will be very hard to push Ac Milan out of the equation...still on still I hope Napoli would beat Udinese today.
