As far as I can see Napoli have a free win this week! Because their opponent is going to be Fiorentina in Naples.    Fiorentina have just got eliminated from Coppa Italia as well.

Everything is going worse for them. In the meantime Napoli have had a really poor form lately. They won only once in last 5 weeks in the Serie A. They should be winning this match without excuses.

Even though Fiorentina is performing poorly this season, I don't think Napoli can have a free win this weekend against Fiorentina because Napoli too isn't performing well at the moment, and they are struggling to win their matches. I am rooting for the Napoli and Fiorentina match to end in a draw because both teams aren't in form.

Last night, Napoli really failed to beat Chelsea, so with this they finally failed to advance to the next round in the UCL. I personally actually regret this, because Napoli is actually a very good team, but maybe because currently many of their players are injured, it makes their performance optimal in this match. But even so, in this match Napoli was still able to play well, because they also had the lead in the first half. But in the second half, Napoli's performance became chaotic and Chelsea players were able to take advantage of all of that very well and finally Chelsea was able to score 2 goals which made Napoli lose in this match.

And besides that, currently the teams representing Serie A in the UCL, all of them are also unable to enter the top 8 positions, so basically the three teams from Serie A must play in the play-off round first to be able to qualify for the next round. So here I can conclude that currently the competitiveness of the teams from Serie A is not good. But that's okay, because they might play well after this.

Any club that will do well you will notice the sign from the beginning till the end, but as it stand now, I don't think Napoli will reach the position they reached last season, because they have lost against some clubs that would have given their fans hope of winning this premier league trophy. Injuries is a bad thing every coach is praying for not to happen to their players, because once injuries start happening to players their performance will drop down to surprise some people which is what is happening to Napoli now and it will be hard for Napoli to experience the opportunity they experienced last season.

You can't use inter Milan players to compare Napoli players in this season, because inter Milan remain on top of the Italian league table till now for you to know that inter Milan players will continue do everything possible in this season to lift the trophy.

They were also eliminated from the Champions League, a factor, in addition to a busy schedule, due to numerous injuries. Napoli now has no choice but to focus on Serie A. Their hopes of defending their Serie A title remain if Conte continues to make improvements. It's certainly tough with a significant nine point gap to Inter, but considering the Serie A season is still very long anything can happen as long as Napoli can bounce back and maintain consistency.

Napoli's next match against Fiorentina, is a chance for Conte to bounce back and boost the team's confidence. Moreover, the match will be played in front of their home fans and Fiorentina is currently in a slump. Therefore, my prediction is that Napoli can win this match judging by their squad and current form.

It was a very good first half from Napoli, they did well in that first half, they created lot of chances and scored 2 good goals but the performance in that second half was a shameful one, a lot of mis placed passes, they were the opposite of the team that played in the first half. Now that they are out of the champions league they would Now focus on the league, which I still feel it will be hard for them to win.

Honestly for I think Napoli did very bad in this season champions League, at least going into the playoffs is least expected of them. They had all the chances but they blew it, facing Chelsea on the last day is always going to be difficult so they should have secured that play off even before they played against Chelsea.

I won’t agree with you on saying Conte is a bad coach, this man is a born winner and we have seen him do it almost every where he has been to but the thing is Conte is a kind of coach that know how to play the domestic league well rather than playing tournaments football. We see how Napoli are managing to gather points in the league but when it comes to the champions league they began to struggle. This was exactly what happened when he was at Chelsea and even last season with Napoli.

His strength lies more on n series football than tournament football, every coach has their speciality and only a few are good all round but again Conte is not a bad coach as you said.

After the UCL failure, I was thinking that Napoli might improve in serie A. And honestly, this isn?t the first time we?ve seen this from them. Whenever Napoli has a busy schedule like playing in the UCL, their performance in serie A usually becomes very inconsistent. Chelsea are more better than Napoli this season and nothing can stop them from wining them. Napoli perform very well but Chelsea are much stronger than them they don't have any good players like before that is why they are finding it difficult to perform better in the Champions League this season. I notice that since Osimhen leave the club they have not perform good again that can make them win the league again and even perform better in the Champions League.
