Exactly, Napoli are performing very poorly compared to the previous season. We all knew the Napoli of the previous season, but this season they even find it a bit hard to top the table. Last night, Napoli really failed to beat Chelsea, so with this they finally failed to advance to the next round in the UCL. I personally actually regret this, because Napoli is actually a very good team, but maybe because currently many of their players are injured, it makes their performance optimal in this match. But even so, in this match Napoli was still able to play well, because they also had the lead in the first half. But in the second half, Napoli's performance became chaotic and Chelsea players were able to take advantage of all of that very well and finally Chelsea was able to score 2 goals which made Napoli lose in this match.

I loved Napoli performance yesterday in the Champions League, especially during the first half. Secondly, the way Antonio Vergara cut through Chelsea's defense, i didn't think Chelsea could dominate in the last half.

After the UCL failure, I was thinking that Napoli might improve in serie A. And honestly, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this from them. Whenever Napoli has a busy schedule like playing in the UCL, their performance in serie A usually becomes very inconsistent. Napoli doesn't have many options when they're experiencing a lot of injuries, especially if the injured player is a key player, so they're forced to use substitutes whose performance isn't as good as the main players. Napoli really need to recruit players whose performance is not much different from the main players so they can rotate players and if something happens, Napoli doesn't experience a significant decline like now.
