Fiorentina is one of the most renowned teams in serie A . But the team is going through a very bad time this season. They are now in  18th place in the points table. They are still trying to avoid th e relegation zone.

If fiorentina can keep their performance stable in a few matches, then they will be able to get out of the  relegation zone. Now they are in a relatively good form. They have won only  4 matches this season. Of these , they have won two in the last  5 matches. They are only 3  points behind Lecce, who are in  17th place in the table. Fiorentina can avoid the relegation zone if they can win a few matches in a row.

Fiorentina scored many goals enough as with 29 goals, they have enough ability to score goals that can help them having points. Their biggest problem is defense with many conceded goals, 39 goals so far, that caused many dropped points from Fiorentina. It's surprising as with David De Gea, Fiorentina would have a better defense and would have gotten less conceded goals.

Let's see how Roma with 31 goals scored so far, only 2 more than Fiorentina but are standing at a fourth position and some other clubs like Atalanta, Bologna with 34 goals, Lazio with 26 goals but having higher ranks than Fiorentina. Fiorentina truly got some improvements after very bad start but they must do more, improve further, get more points to exit the relegation zone and stay in Serie A after this season.

I am the kind of person who consider a game not played as a victorious one until proven otherwise. I mean I consider AC Milan as the one which won the game and that the difference between them and Inter Milan as 5 points until Como defeat them then it is 8.
I find considering it as 8 points will make Inter Milan less vigilant and not minding missing points.

Como have their ambitious target in this season, top four, and to achieve a fourth position, they must beat AC Milan in coming match. This match between AC Milan and Como is a very big and important match for both, and each of them only want to win and have three points. Any other result like a draw or a defeat will damage either AC Milan target for Scudetto or top four target for Como.

If Napoli wants to defend the title they should have played consistently from the beginning instead of just waiting for other teams to make mistakes because Inter and Milan will try to do their best because both of them are also competing in the scudetto hunt, it seems that Napoli does not have a chance to defend the title this season because the point difference is too far from Inter Milan.
Conte does have his own characteristics in managing the team but it seems that this time he failed to make Napoli perform well even in the Champions League Conte failed to take Napoli further it seems that he is starting to run out of his brilliant ideas.

If they wait for other teams to accept defeat it will certainly be very difficult for Napoli to maintain their title as defending champions. Other teams are currently more prepared to win the Serie A title this season. If they don't do as you said it will certainly be difficult for Napoli to become a team capable of defending the title.

With such a large point gap, I think if Napoli doesn't do what they have to do consistently it seems like it will be impossible for them to catch up because currently they are quite far apart from the team at the top of the Serie-A standings namely Inter 11 points is not a small amount especially in the next match they will face the team in 6th place namely Atalanta which we all know drastically they are currently in that position even though previously they were in the top ten or below meaning this indicates that they will put up a fight when the match is in progress and for me Napoli will have difficulty facing the Atalanta team and if the results are less than optimal of course Napoli will not be able to defend the championship this season because the Inter team is more prepared than them this season.

Chivu performance has been impressive, as he inherited a team with a well-established playing structure left by Simone Inzaghi. Chivu has only slightly adapted his own tactics to the Inter squad, but overall, the style of play implemented by Chivu is not significantly different from that implemented by Inzaghi. Therefore, it's natural that Inter's performance has improved, and they are now in the driving seat for the title. For Chivu, if he can lead Inter to the title, it would be a remarkable achievement in his career, as an inexperienced coach managed to win the title in his first season.

Fiorentina really needs more improvement in their performance if they want to avoid relegation, performance like that one when they draw Lazio and Milan and win Bologna…

Their next match will be against Pisa whom are six points behind them in the Serie A standings and Pisa have only won once this season against Cremonese, Fiorentina played against them this season but it ended as a goalless draw…so they need to play their very best to secure the three points in that match so they can still have hope of not being relegated for if they lose or draw, they I think they’ll definitely be relegated.

Beating Como at their home is good boost for their surviving campaign while their coming game is against Pisa at home, this could be turning point for them at top, title race is between Inter Milan and AC Milan while at bottom two sides already set for relegation, third is going to be interesting because mostly are giving their best for keeping their spot into top level.

Fiorentina definitely looks like it's going to be a trouble to stay in the league, specially the first part of the season with Pioli showed that they have not done so well, and now they are having trouble. But the possibility is there and they could make it work, I think that is not going to be easy but it can be done and we can see it happen. I know it is going to be tough but it can't be impossible and we can definitely see this be a bit of an issue for them but not impossible.

I think it's clear that we are going to see Fiorentina do fine enough to stay in the league but the real work starts afterwards, they are going to end up with something harder next season because they need to do better for the long term.

For Napoli to be able to go back in action for the title race, Inter and Milan both need to mess up big time!    Milan are 3 points ahead with a missing game and Inter are even 11 points ahead...

Conte is just stubborn with his certain ways of management. It worked last season somehow maybe but it doesn't this season. They are losing points easily not only in big games but also in ones against smaller teams.

In my opinion,, Napoli should have a more realistic target right now. If they want to win the title in this situation,, it's very difficult, even impossible, in my opinion. As we know, the points gap between Napoli and the league leaders is very large, and that's why I personally think it's unrealistic for Napoli to still have ambitions to win the Serie A title. So, in my opinion,, Napoli would be better off just trying to secure a Champions League spot for next season, as that makes more sense right now.

They're currently in third place,, and if they can maintain that position until the end of the season, they'll definitely get another Champions League spot, which is a good thing. The more often a team plays in the Champions League, the more experience the players gain, and their performance on the pitch will automatically improve. So,, in my opinion, that's what Napoli should be thinking about right now.

Success of Cristian Chivu and Michael Carrick shows that planning smartness and on pitch knowledge is more useful than long term coaching history in many cases.
Although haters are viewing these young managers as just learners who are new, studies done showed that they are doing better than experts. Chivu has Inter Milan leading in Serie A and Carrick has just turned around Manchester United beating other rivals such as Manchester City and Arsenal.
Personally, I think that rule of past experience is false idea since you cannot get experience before being given job.
These past global stars have already served decades of top football in shop and it has been shown that knowledge of game is much much better teacher than years on sidelines can be.

I think Milan’s motivation for this match is much higher than Como’s. If Milan win, they’ll still keep the gap to Inter at five points, even though that’s a significant difference, there’s still hope that it can be reduced. Como also have their own motivation, because if they want to fight for a place in European cups, they need to move up the table. But in recent matches they’ve been playing worse and haven’t been able to compete with stronger teams.

Im really impresed by Christain Chivu performance as the head coach of Inter, when he took the charge and the team was not so good i feel like the Inter made a huge mistake and maybe lost a season for trying with him, but right now i have to admit i was mistaken, Inter is solid on SerieA and is doing a decent job on UCL.

I think this team needs a fully reconstruct of their squad right ? from first to last player , none of them deserve to keep Fiorentina in serie A and unfortunately the fans are the ones who suffer the most. 3 years ago there were playing Europa League finals and now they can barley win or score against Verona or Cremonesse.

Experience is everything in life but in sport it is even more important, having this type of attitude in life is very important it is also tru that experience is a fundamental thing that also comes from many tests that are done and in the case of the coach these tests are done on a football pitch

I don't think Fiorentina will be relegated this year because they've had a very good run of form. Their recent away win against Como is a sign that their momentum continues. By the end of the season, Fiorentina will definitely climb up the table and avoid relegation.

There absolutely needs to be some restructuring work at the team level, they know perfectly well that the team can't continue to perform like this but this is an excellent starting point to understand where they need to improve, after all the terrible results they are having i understand that there are bigger problems to solve, the standings are really terrible.

Fiorentina does seem to be taking the centre stage of this whole battle not to be relegated and they have so far been putting in so much efforts that is giving  that Impression that they have a very much likelihood of escaping it much more than Lecce. Not like Lecce is not putting the much needed effort but remember ta a time Fiorentina was at the bottom of the table like literally the last team but now they have found themselves in the position they are now which for me preaches potential of an escape.

Fiorentina are fighting hard to move into a safer position. With the gap they have, they should be able to do so (move out of the relegation zone). However, they need to pay attention to their performance. As long as they continue to perform at the same level, I'm not sure they'll be able to climb out of the relegation zone.

They still have enough games left to move into a better position, but as I said before, they need to improve their performance first to move out of this zone sooner. Otherwise, we might not see them in Serie A next season.

They should have done this much earlier so that it would not have been difficult for them to work hard and achieve success at this time, but still they are gradually improving themselves and trying to come up. If they do not do this, they will suffer a lot of losses at the end of this season, which they know, but still they are not playing well, which will not give them strength. They have set themselves at 18th position and all this is the reason for their poor performance. If they change their attitude and do not make mistakes in the match, they will still become strong and successful. Although it is quite difficult for them to become champions this season, they can save themselves from this weakness. It depends on their good effort. If they win every match by playing well, their points will automatically accumulate and take them up and by winning a few matches, they can succeed at 13th position, which is no less than luck for them.
