I agree with you. They lost 2-0 in the first leg  against dortmund. So in the second leg I predicted a draw or a 1 -0 defeat for dortmund. I saw Dortmund playing defensively in  this match. More Italian team out of Europe. Fiorentina bottled 3 goals that they won Jagiellonia in the first leg. Galatasary almost bottled a 3 goal upper hand against Juventus, Dortmund bottled a 2 goal upper hand they had against Atalanta who are amongst the few if not the only Italian team in Europe.
I think from the ball possession Fiorentina wanted to sit back but if the coach had watched yesterday UCL game he should know sitting back is dangerous.

Atlanta literally swept me off my foot, I watched that game in so much  surprise, how Dortmund were unable to even take control at any point surprised me, this was a team that would not allow Atalanta in the first leg, I even doubted Atlantas ability because it looked like the point difference was large to meet up with in a single match against a top team like Dortmund, even the performance of Dortmund did showed Atalanta was deserving of the win, a big congratulations to them, hopefully they go even beyond this stage in the champions league.

Hours ago, they lost a playoff match in Conference League but managed to escape from playoff by scoring two goals after losing 0 - 3 first, that is an unbelievable comeback of Fiorentina. However, it still shows their defense weakness that is one of biggest reasons why they struggled in bottom area of Serie A so far.

That's important, sure those places mean nothing, like as long as you do not go down, finishing higher anywhere else doesn't matter but it would create some morale for the team for next season and give them hope. Inter lost at UCL, which is a shame considering how great they are normally. I assumed they would do a lot better against Bodo at their home ground and while it was sad for them to lose at away game, it was even worse at the home game.

Ohh men yesterday i come here and claim about the disaster situation of the SerieA and how they are not gonna have a single team in the round of 16 stage of the Champions League, but somehow Atalanta make his way in the last minute against Dortmund saving the face of the whole league, still a disaster but not so bad, Juventus was super close to a epic comeback but they died in the shore.

Atalanta qualifying is a miracle...I'm happy, but that doesn't change the fact that Italian football is in crisis, a truly worrying situation. Now Serie A feels miles off the elite level. The fall has been brutal. Historical teams are disappearing. A national team that is laughable due to a lack of local talent, they failed in youth development, and the result of that is failing to qualify for two straight World Cups. A rotten system unable to react. Immediate administration or the ultimate collapse of Italian football.
