Yes I completely agree with you. This gap is not big at all at this time, because at the moment we are seeing the deterioration of milan's performance and on the upside, milan's biggest rival Como is doing well. Milan needs to be as consistent as possible in this period and play matches with precision. If milan is able to play a little better or improve their performance and can win 2 matches then maybe we will see milan in second place again. I am talking about two matches because there is a 2 point gap with napoli if napoli loses one match and wins one and on the upside if milan can win two then milan will occupy second place

A few days ago we thought Ac milan would fight  for the title. But now  it will not be possible for milan to keep the second place in the table. And if their performance is poor in the upcoming matches and they lose points then ac milan will not be able to hold the third place in the table. Among the teams in Serie a, como and napoli are currently in the best form. Napoli have won their last 5 matches and como have won  4 matches and  drawn one. That is because there is a 5 point difference between Milan and Como and if Milan wins 1 match, they will move up to second place but the way Napoli has gained 3 points from them is quite surprising because before this win Milan was stronger and above them but Napoli be 3 points ahead by winning 1 match. If Napoli succeeds in the next matches, there can be an interesting competition with Inter. I am not interested in them fighting for second place but it is more interesting to be in first place because a failure of Inter can move Milan or Napoli up and the title of this league can be decided. exactly, you made a perfect and i must say very spot-on analysis, Inter's problem is that they always lack a top-quality striker who can take over from Lautaro Martinez, if that player gets hurt it's over for Inter and there will no longer be the possibility of finding a better player, this is what i noticed too, you're absolutely right

I think the odds for Roma are even a bit high, as they should beat such an opponent easily. If you look at the -1 handicap for Roma, the odds are around 1.5, and that also seems like a pretty good odds for this match. It should be one of their utmost priority next season cause they can't continue to depend on Martinez alone amd then suffer when he's not available. Marcus Thuram is not also a striker they can rely on else he would've been the one that would've comfortably replaced Martinez but he's not doing his best, although he's tried to score 10 goals all round but it's not enough for the kind of striker that should help the team compete more better in Major competition, they need to step up their game if they want a better Champions League performance next season.

It wouldn't come to that in my opinion. Milan are already 5 points ahead of Como and it is 6 points with Juventus who are just out of top 4. Milan just need to mess up big time for that!

You're right. In every league there  are basically two fights. One for the title and one to qualify for the champions league or europa league. Napoli are in second place in the table. But they are not competing with Inter milan for the title. The situation is the same with milan. I do not  see much difference between  second or third place in the table. On the other hand, Como, juventus and roma are still fighting for fourth place  in the table. This fight has  become quite intense. It is not yet possible to predict which  team will occupy fourth place in the table.

Napoli are safe in top four and if they want, they can try to finish this season with a second position, above AC Milan but what they have to concern is in the summer transfer market and in a next season. Rumor is Conte and Napoli already agreed with each other that they will no longer cooperate with each other in a next season. This means Napoli will have to find a new head coach for their club and replacing a quality and experienced head coach like Conte is not easy. This task in the summer months will be very important but also challenging for Napoli.

If they won't choose a right new head coach for the club next season, they might have declining performance quality and have risk of playing bad in a next season without Conte. With rising AC Milan, Como, Roma, and perhaps comeback of Atalanta and Lazio, Napoli won't easily finish a next season in top four if they have a new incapable coach.

I would never have imagined that Napoli would manage to get to second place. i must say that Antonio Conte is doing a wonderful job, and as Napoli's coach he is really spot on, there were also rumors of his hypothetical return to the national team, but its still too early to say, there is still a lot to do in Napoli.
