What Milan and a lot of other big teams in Italy needs is to recover they faith and also to start to have real references players not just "stars" or young projects with them, i mean who is the Maldini of Milan? Pirlo of Milan? Modric could be one but he is already super old you can build anything around him thinking in a long project, that is the main problem and reality in most of the big italian teams.

AC Milan mustn't have to assemble global stars before they can return back to winning ways. Most of the legends you called that were former players of the club you mentioned grew through the academy ranks to become first team players. So they can still be replaced if the club management can invest more in the club's academy. I doubt that AC Milan currently has the financial strength to buy big stars but if they can get a manager that knows how to build a team that plays and succeed more as a team than depending on individual brilliance, big stars can emerge from there.

I guess AC Milan club need new players if they can release some amount of money to start searching for new players that will make their dream to come through next season, because their management are not happy with their position in this season despite the kind players they have this season. I guess their management have a good plan for the club just that they will not like to come out on social media to begin to spread their plan in public.

In my opinion, a team like Milan should hire Jorge Jesus (the Al Nassr coach). For me, he would be the ideal coach for Milan. He would make Milan play beautiful football and win Serie A, and they could even do well in the Champions League. is like Ac Milan are planning to fail, the players they have are good but they need to make some changes like something the other clubs in the Serie A haven't seen before. Maybe a team that attack more than they defend or do both, defend and attack more because from how we saw them play last season they struggle to even get goals against smaller team, if they find it hard to score against teams like Parma is it club like Inter, Juventus or even Como that they could get goals? The sack was not necessary or even an intelligent choice as you have rightly said but then on a second taught, if they are to rebuild completely by an overhaul, then it may not be completely out of place, it is something they may need to do but they will have it in mind that they will be sacrificing about a season or two to get the team back in form as it will not happen immediately but will take sometime and not just something that will happen so fast within a very short period of time.

Their failure to qualify for the World Cup for three consecutive years is certainly a hard blow for them, especially in Serie A. As you mentioned Serie A currently lacks the competitiveness of a few years ago and Italian teams have not been able to perform much in European competitions.

What Milan rather needs now is a strong financial system that would enable the club get the right players and coaches that would get the club back to competing for important titles like the Serie A and the Champions League and this can be made possible only if the finances are there.
Right now Inter Milan is at that level since they were taken over by a Chinese firm and that's why they are doing better than Milan, Juventus, Napoli and Lazio all put together.

I was also a big supporter of Como to make it to the Champions League due to their performance. But, to be honest, I never expected Milan to lose that game. I was just predicting for the sake of Como, but Milan were a disappointment, as they were supposed to make it to the Champions League, not waste time in the Europa League.

Still, it’s not bad. It will only be bad if they don’t end up winning the Europa League. But let’s see how next season will turn out.

Yes, AC Milan really needs a complete overhaul of their team because it's quite a shame to see them not get a Champions League spot even though they have maintained their top 4 position, but had to fall in the final matches. what they need now are truly proven players, not just one star player, especially in their attack line because that is the most important thing. AC Milan need some good signings that will help the team gain more strength.
