I don't think this is what people think, Como gave a simply incredible performance and continued to do so and did so until the end of the championship, i don't understand those who say it's luck, when they have beaten teams like Milan or Juventus, decades in Serie A.

Yes, if you're simply saying that Como is simply lucky to be playing in the UCL next season, your assumption is clearly incorrect. Como has performed exceptionally well this season, and even strong teams like Inter have struggled against Como. Therefore, if you're simply saying that Como was simply lucky to finish in the top four in Serie A, you're clearly mistaken. Luck alone isn't enough to get a team to this point.

The bottom line, as Renampun said, is that it's all a combination of hard work, luck, and Fabregas' strategy. Therefore,, I don't think we should underestimate Como. Getting to this position is a struggle,, and it wasn't easy. So, that's why I think we should be supporting them so they can do well in the Champions League next season. However,, you're free to make assumptions here, so it's up to you whether you believe my assumptions or not.

Indeed, Como certainly played better than many teams, such as Milan for example.
While Milan went backwards losing absurd matches, Como slowly won and moved forward, unlike Milan they certainly deserve to play in the Champions League.

Maybe next year might be interesting to watch Serie A, but this year was a disappointment, not very exciting.

The interesting part of this season only happened at the beginning of the season to the middle of the season. Many teams are competing for the top position, Roma are back, Juventus are also trying to be competitive and Milan are doing the same with Allegri, Napoli and Inter remain consistent and there is Como as a new face. But unfortunately mid-season to the end of the season one by one the team was inconsistent, especially Milan Juventus. i don't know what the competition will be like next season, but yes, hopefully there will be resistance so that Inter don't easily lift the trophy.

AC Milan and Juventus failed to finish the season in top four even during most time of season or even very last weeks of season, they both had good advantage to complete the season in top four. These big clubs have to change many things in this summer and prepare as best as possible for a next season, because one season without money from Champions League is already terrible for their clubs' finance. If they fail to finish in top four next season, their finance will be severely affected and it's clearly not what they want to face with.
In another situation recently, U17 Italy just won a title in Europe, and it is good signal from their youth player level after big shock of absence in World Cup 2026, a third World Cup without Italy consecutively. In fact, last ten years, Italy have very good results from their national youth teams that show they did not lack of talented youth players. The problem is their clubs did not give opportunities to youth players so that these players can not grow up their career well, that eventually affected the national team quality.

Unfortunately, they are two teams in crisis, but many teams including mine, Lazio, are in crisis.
The reason is certainly economic, being able to manage everything is not exactly trivial and certainly the little money is not enough to finance new strong players.

Actually, if you think about it, given how much they invested, it was almost obvious, if it hadn't been like that it would have been a real problem
It's clear that they didn't expect to go to the Champions League in my opinion, but in any European cup they definitely did, otherwise it would have been a failure.

It is at least nice to see that Spalletti is being kept for next season... There is no meaning in changing managers very often. Especially if you have a great manager like him, you should be patient.

I think Juventus management will think carefully before sacking Spalletti, especially since he's one of the most experienced coaches in Serie A.

Besides, the poor results and failure to qualify for the UCL this season aren't entirely his fault. He basically had to work with the squad that was already there when he arrived. So, from the club's point of view, it's probably better to stick with Spalletti rather than take a big gamble on a new coach and go through another adaptation period all over again.

No better analysis than this, Inter actually did won the title silently without much struggle against or opposition from others. The league is almost feeling like a farmers league untill the likes of Juventus and Milan tries to come up to becoming that competition to the likes of Inter Milan and make the league more competitive and intriguing. Let us hope that next season will be better.

Well, Inter is one of the European teams that always delivers. I didn't like this Serie A season much; they knocked Milan out of the Champions League. From what I've seen in this experience, these new teams aren't that good in the Champions League, so it hurts a bit to see that Milan's participation doesn't have the impact we thought it could have in such a good competition.

Lazio used to be a team I respected from afar, they weren't especially spectacular but they could hold their own but I just don't understand how or what made them fall do sharply, is it management, lack of good coach or just bad luck that made it hard for them to even be reliable. If they are up today, in the next three to five games, you'd see them struggling to beat equally struggling clubs.
 Let's see what the new season holds for Lazio though. In the 2024/25 campaign, they ended the season sitting in the 7th spot but last season saw them end in 9th, a proof of their inconsistent patterns, I just hope this time gets different.

Whoever thinks or say that Como's exploits in the just concluded seria A season is a thing of luck is only trying to downplay the team's achievement or is being sarcastic enough not to acknowledge the fact that luck is not a requisite factor when it comes to achieving such a tedious feat like what Como did this season. If it was a thing of luck then how come the likes of Milan and Juventus couldn't get there, could it be that they ran out of luck or they performed badly this season?

AC Milan will struggle to make big money moves in this transfer window because they don't have much money. Just look at some of their transfers last season, and the season before that, they relatively bought cheap players and signed free agents, resulting in a very unbalanced performance.

AC Milan will need a long time to regain their strength. They are in a financial crisis because they can't afford to buy quality players in the transfer window. Serie A teams tend to raise money in the transfer window by selling their star players to other teams. If this continues, we won't see a Serie A team performing impressively in the Champions League.

AC Milan has a team behind them that is in very bad shape, this is truly incredible, they had the chance to win the championship but in the end they did nothing to bring it home and they even found themselves out of the champions league, this thing is really embarrassing in fact the managers were eliminated.

Juventus needs to emulate several teams in Serie A, as in recent seasons they have simply not shown themselves capable of challenging for the Scudetto. Inter Milan successfully made several changes last season, which led to their success in the Scudetto and we also saw Napoli who were successful the previous season make adjustments. This season, we hope Juventus and Milan do the same, making the race for the Scudetto much more exciting and both can be included among the teams competing for the Scudetto.

I don't know if they have to emulate them, rather they have to find young players to play in the team, this is necessary for the development of what is happening within the Serie A and therefore these bigger teams have to go and try with young people and there are some, but they have to do it now for when the future will be in order to have it as prosperous as possible.

Juventus and Milan both were disappointing in terms of the way they finished the league. They both are going to the Europa League currently.

But if we look at it from a positive aspect, they have a higher chance for the title there with these teams compared to this season.    But the truth is that the quality of the Serie A is going down more every year...

Juventus is the most important and the popular team of the serie A and they also managed to win the serie A title. But now juventus is struggling for their performance to make it the best and effective with their young players. Because there performance in the recent season was just up and down in fact they were very inconsistent throughout the season.  They still have some talented players but they just need to underline such factors which are responsible for their failure . Because once they get the factors it will be very easy for them to overcome their weaknesses. And Milan are also in the same condition and struggling to have their best time period but I think both teams can achieve their target if they focus and try to be consistent.

Given that Dumfries has already moved to Real Madrid, and Acerbi and Darmian have left on free transfers after their contracts expired, it’s also worth noting that Fenerbahçe are looking to sign Çalhanoğlu. Inter are getting a lot weaker and haven’t signed anyone yet

Dumfries is an important loss. Acerbi has still been a really valuable defender despite his age. However I don't think Çalhanoğlu is thinking of leaving right now.

I've heard of some statement from Inter side regarding this as well. They believe in him to stay for longer so those are just rumours it's said.

No matter what I think Inter would make the right transfers for themselves to stay solid I think.

The problems Juventus and AC Milan face are almost always the same every season. In my opinion, their problem is their inability to maintain consistency, and this is again evident this season. The reason could be that management hasn't built the team well from the start. So I'm not surprised by their situation, but I'm a little disappointed, especially for AC Milan, who failed to secure a Champions League spot next season despite having started well.
And next season, everything starts from scratch. The team could be better, or it could be the same.

Como has achieved an incredible feat above what anyone could imagined prior to the beginning of the season, in a league where you have elite clubs like AC Milan, Juventus and the rest of them, who could have thought that a small team with little experience, and without star players could finish the season above Milan and Juventus. In recent time, Como have shown that there is no limits to what anyone can achieve as long as you put you mind to it.

Como probably didn't think so either, basically Como qualified for the Champions League with the defeat of AC Milan in the last match, otherwise they would have to be satisfied with the Europa League ticket. Before the start of the season, no one expected that Como would be able to enter the Champions League so quickly, but after the start of the season, their performance began to impress everyone, and even after the first 20 rounds, it made them think that Como might fight for the title. But then Como's performance started to deteriorate and they went from the title fight to the Champions League qualification fight, where their performance was not good. But the consistency of the last few matches and their luck helped them take them to the Champions League.

I think Como's qualification for the Champions League was pure luck. Nobody expected Milan to lose at home. Despite this, Milan lost at home and dropped out of the Champions League group. Como seized the opportunity perfectly and are participating in the Champions League for the first time in their history, and in only their second year in the Italian league. This is quite an interesting statistic in a major league.

2019 they're in Serie D and 2026 they're in the Champions League because they finished in a pretty comfortable position in Serie A and you still consider this pure luck?
For me luck doesn't last and Como definitely don't fall into the category of luck you're referring to. They worked hard to get to this point and just 7 seasons from Serie D to the Champions League is an incredible achievement and can't be called pure luck.

We focus too much on the strength of the big clubs but don't feel Como coming from behind so when we see Como beyond expectations makes us feel that this is just luck but of course it's not that simple because 7 seasons and developing in a short time shows that apart from their financial condition maintained now the hard work of players and officials is also proof that they deserve to be a dark horse.
