And seriously both teams have failed to be the club they use to because their board of directors are now investing on average players, they are investing in players that are below club standards, until that changes both club will continue to struggle.

I doubt he is that important at the moment. Because he got injured and it lasted a really long time. I know KDB also recovered from a lasting injury. But there is a difference between them...

KDB returned to starting lineup shortly after his recovery. But Lukaku didn't! There is no Conte from now on as well. I have big doubts on Lukaku's future at Napoli now.

It is huge gamble to think Romelu Lukaku is going to produce those numbers with his medical history. He has real talent when healthy with double digit goal/assist average for the previous Italian season, but single goal average during injury plagued time in current Italian campaign demonstrates smaller effect on the game. I do not think it is very realistic for him to come back next season and score 20+ goals unless he has whole system geared toward his physical game. While his teammates can make sure to get him ball inside the box, and he's able to avoid treatment room he can definitely come back, but biggest question is his physical dependability.

we all agree on this but it could be that for a period they no longer won the most important matches, that's for sure, but having a concrete chance of making up for it is there, they are however very strong teams that can have a lot of room to improve as well as the funds to do so.

AC Milan eliminated all the managers except Ibra who remains because he most likely has company shares and is deciding what to do with his future, in any case according to him he wanted to bring Milan back to very high levels but if he continues like this he will only sink it, as a player he will have been great but as a manager i don't think he can do well.

Milan did terrible this season, no doubt, because losing the ticket to the Champions League at the last game was very disappointing. Ibrahimovic is not only a manager but an advisor to the management, and rumors were being said that he was targeting Amorim. Which as they have gotten him now, then definitely Milan will improve next season. But the question is, how sure are we they will be able to achieve it? Sacking Allegri is important, but finding a better replacement is not easy.

While it is true that Milan did terrible this season, that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with Amorim fixing anything, that dude did horrible at United, so I have no hopes. But Milan fans should not lose hope forever, Amorim was good at Sporting Lisbon, so not like he was always bad, yes he did terrible at United and as soon as he left Carrick started to do great with them, so lets not say United stint was good, Amorim was terrible there. But S.Lisbon period was very good and if he does as good as Lisbon period then his Milan period will be great too.

These players are true professionals, i mean Lukaku and Ronaldo.
They know that to maintain certain performances they must train hard, eat properly, avoid alcohol, smoke and junk food.
Avoid parties, sleep full and regularly.

Lukaku is certainly very strong but he is exploiting the situation a little.
Obviously it's not his fault, he's exploiting the situation to his advantage.
It's Napoli's fault for not having enough strikers so as not to make the only decent striker they have too important.

Juventus and Milan need it the most actually after seeing how terrible season they had.    But I doubt they would spend a big sum on a player.

The top contenders won't make big chances in their line up, unless they can offload many of their key players especially Juventus. They're facing a revenue decline. They will not also participate in UCL next season. So they won't make a lot of changes to their squad.
It most probably they will be doing only minor changes because their financial doesn't support it.

On other hand, Milan record another highest revenue last season. They're in profit three years in a row. So it's likely they will able to overhaul their squad. However, they have to sold some of their players to recoup some money, and empty their salary cap.

Currently, Napoli is coached by Allegri and he has also stated that he greatly admires Lukaku. It's certainly predictable that Lukaku will be part of Allegri project to compete for trophies. Last season Lukaku didn't get much playing time under Conte due to injury but now that he's back, I think he'll be a key part of Napoli squad next season.

His performance in Belgium also caused quite a stir against Egypt. While he didn't score, he was still a key figure, proving he can still make a difference by being involved in the attack that led to the opponent's own goal that ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw. One thing I know is that next season will be tougher than this season that made Inter Milan to lead through out the tournament, because they signed some players that improved the players to display what brought the result Inter Milan are celebrating.

I think it's more of an economic issue, if they have to make purchases they will obviously have to aim for someone who makes a difference, as we well know good players cost money.
I would adopt a different strategy, buying unknown players who are very young and testing them on the pitch, even in less important matches, have two advantages and one disadvantage.
The advantages are, low cost and physical performance, the disadvantage is inexperience, but this is quickly resolved, i don't understand why they don't do it.
