I don't know if their squad is good enough for the championship, but I'm sure we'll see a strong Como team again next year. What you said about Juventus in the Italian league is very true. For the last two years, they've started the league very well, but towards the end of the season, everything falls apart and the team starts losing matches consecutively. That's why Juventus needs to have a stable system. If you're not consistent, you'll always lose. If they want to win the championship, they need to fix this.
Did Como change their squad? Sell important players ? I have not seen that so far. If they don't sell important players in the squad and Fabregas remains Como's manager, Como will do well next season. Como's players are very hardworking. Fabregas is a great manager. He has a great relationship with his players. If como's management spends some money to strengthen their attack , they can do well in the champions league. They have that ability. Como has scored 65 goals this season, which is the second highest in Serie A.

He's old now, obviously this translates into more injuries. The "older" you are, the more your body breaks down even for trivial things, this is the price you pay even if you train a lot like Romelu Lukaku does or Cristiano Ronaldo does.
Never mind, they'll get another striker.
As a player, age is key and you cannot escape it when it strikes you may manage to push further due to stretch by training and other extra efforts, but it will only take some time and you will be caught up by it one day. Napoli will surely put that in to consideration soonest and may start hunting for a new replacement because it will hit so much on them when eventually it happens that the season starts and then he suffers an injury without a replacement, i do not think they will want to wait to be in such situation. Age is indeed a factor that can affect a soccer player’s performance. Soccer players over the age of thirty typically begin to experience a decline in performance, where it becomes increasingly evident through a drop in their quality on the field or even in their fitness levels by making them more prone to injury. Romelu Lukaku as a player over thirty has begun to feel the effects of aging which have led to a decline in his performance and even made him more prone to injuries in recent times. Lukaku reportedly faced issues too related to this ( Source). On the other hand Romelu Lukaku has not yet received a contract extension regarding his future at Napoli. And perhaps he will continue to play for Napoli until his contract there officially expires. Various rumors have circulated regarding the uncertainty of his future at Napoli. And Napoli is reportedly ready to let their striker go during the upcoming transfer window. But I personally believe that Lukaku could regain the trust to play for Napoli if he can catch their attention. And I think the World Cup might be a great opportunity for Lukaku to prove himself.

No, so far Como haven't sold any of their key players. In fact, it even seems that some players have turned down offers from other clubs in order to stay at Como. It's hard to say how well they will do next season because, on top of Serie A, they will also have many Champions League matches, which will make it a much more demanding season. But they managed to qualify for the Champions League, and that's already a huge achievement.

Real Madrid will be activating their buy back clause on him, which is around 10million euros then they plan to resell him again for around 60million euros. So maybe until Como can afford that it going to be difficult to play without him in the squad. A lot of big teams also have eye for Paz, they want to get him from Real Madrid. For Como I think they will have a decent season next season. From the way the team is setup you will see they don’t revolve around one player but losing you best player always bring difficulties to a team.

It's such a shame that right now, during World Cup fever, one of the European leagues doesn't have its country represented in the World Cup. It's very ironic—Italy, as the center of football with a competitive league, failed to make it to the World Cup. It seems like there’s a problem that needs to be addressed in their league system. If not, Serie A might get worse, and Italy might not qualify for the next World Cup either.

Actually, Italy could have qualified, but unfortunately they played poorly. They don't have as many quality players as they used to. Therefore, they need to be a bit more careful and return to the strong defense we're used to seeing from Italy. We might see stronger defenses in the Italian league next year, because I think teams will now play in that direction.

That ability of not depending on one player offers them so much advantage that gives them the edge that makes them look very promising. I'm not sure about that dominance, Amorim was successful with Sporting CP, but that doesn't mean he will also be successful at AC Milan. Look at what he left behind at Manchester United, isn't that just a mess?
I don't mean to be distrustful of him, as he hasn't even made his AC Milan debut yet. I mean, let's not over-glorify him. He has a lot of work to do before we can make a good or bad judgement.
Results says that he was a mess but all Michael Carrick enjoyed was as a result of the players, mentality, dedication and work rate he instilled through these players. Let's not forget he brought in good players with good attitude and character ready to play for Manchester United amd fight for the badge. In my opinion, that was a success to an extent. Also, managing Manchester United comes with a whole lot. The media and lots of expectations. I do think it is a bit less with AC Milan and he will deliver a great job over with them.

Although the results were poor but fans can't deny that there was a difference in their style of play or discipline in the dressing room, he also helped in improving the performance of some players but unfortunately the team in general couldn't work hard enough to achieve better results. Old Trafford is one hell of a place for Managers without Premier League experience. Asides the media, the weekly expectations of fans and rivals would always be high, most times rival fans would even force fans to drag their own coach instead of support him. Although AC Milan is a big Italian club but the pressure on Amorim won't be compared to when he was coaching United.

Sometimes some things happened for other people to know where the mistakes came from and how to find solution to it so that it will not repeat itself again next season. Como did well in this season but I don't think it will give them opportunity to top Inter Milan and AC Milan next season, because many clubs are going to do better next season to do what they couldn't do this season. I know that a lot will going to happen in Italian league tournament, but am not seeing como among the clubs people will be suspecting among the club that will lift the trophy, because Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus will still organize themselves in this season to ensure the trophy will change hand either AC Milan or Juventus make it happen next season to break the record to lift the trophy next season.

Almost everyone is expecting Como to have a better season next year based on what they showed in the previous season. They have remained consistent and have improved every season. However, the way I see it, it will not be easy for them next season because they will be participating in many competitions and will want to focus on all of them. This can easily cause their players to become exhausted. It is not easy for players to have a good season when they do not have enough time to rest.If Como want to perform better in Serie A, they should focus mainly on two competitions: Serie A and the Champions League. Even then, I do not think they will go very far in the Champions League. Also, Como still need more new signings so they can have better squad rotation. That way, their players will have enough time to rest and maintain a high level of performance throughout the season.

Fabregas has made this team united with his strategy, all lines are interconnected so that players who are in the middle area to the front can be relied on to create goals, similar to Barcelona game, which does not rely on just one or two players, but winning titles can not only depend on this style of play, it needs more than that, namely improving the quality of players, I'm not doubting the current squad, but when compared to Inter Milan, Napoli, Milan and Juventus, the level of players is above Como players. So a good transfer will bring Como closer to winning the title, if not, maybe they will only compete for UCL tickets.

Como will be very serious about making some player transfers as a way to prepare for their competition in the Champions League. Como is a very well-built team, and adding a few players with good quality will improve their performance. This is definitely something that has to be done, because their coach surely knows well how difficult it is for the team if they don't have enough reliable players with such a packed competition schedule.

Italy's non-participation in the world cup is not due to their league, their league is known as a competitive league, being second only to England. I think they were unlucky to fail to qualify, sometimes what we see on the outside is not what it is on the inside, that's how sports are bros. They didn't participate in the last 2 world cups, I'm sure they are now improving & getting ready to participate in the next world cup.

Como did extremely well last season nobody expected cesc fabregas to take como to the champions league after newly getting promoted serie A. Well i believe they will perform well again this season but since they will playing in many competition they also needed to sign in some players and add some quality players too since they are now in the uefa champions league so that while some players are playing some are also taking some rest to avoid getting exhausted before the half of the season.
Como's current squad is very adept but we still think that since this team has reached the UEFA Champions League next season, they should add some players. To be honest, i think this club in the Italian league may not be financially strong, but even then, the team still has some young talented players who can play very artistic football for the team's needs. It seems to us that this Italian club Como will face a new challenge in the upcoming season, so they need to prepare themselves for the biggest competition on the European stage, and this team will be looking to sign several of their best attacking players in the upcoming transfer summer and it seems that smart defenders and midfielders are also needed to increase the depth of the team, perhaps this way the coordination within this team will increase.

Italian teams generally prefer to build their squad according to their objectives in the Serie A. They always prioritize the domestic league in short. I think Como will also do that to finish at a better position or at least in top 4 next time. But of course Fabregas would like to do his best in the Champions League as well. How big budget will they have for signings I wonder? Italian teams don't like to spend a lot on single player too by the way.

I agree with this. He is 33 years old and this is an age when many either end their careers or move on to competitions for older people like MLS. And in my opinion, in Lukaku's case, physical parameters mean a lot - if small, dry footballers can play longer in terms of age, then big players like Lukaku finish much faster. Right now, he is definitely not the kind of player anyone would be hunting for, and if we talk about top clubs, they will look for a replacement for him, since his prospects are obvious.
Lukaku played only 5 games last season. He faced a long injury. Lukaku is still a good player. But at 33, Lukaku should now play in a less competitive league. He can get big wages in MLS or Saudi pro league. Saudi pro league could be the best option for Lukaku. There are many talented and experienced players in Saudi pro league now. This is the best option for any player at the end of his career or a few years before retirement. There is relatively less competition here and it is possible to earn a lot. Judging by the fact that Napoli insists on terminating the contract, and Lukaku wants to stay at the club until its end (summer 2027), the demand for him is not great and it is not at all clear under what conditions he could move to MLS or the Saudi League. If he sits on the bench for another year, I'm more likely to believe he'll retire than find a decent contract at 34. As I already said, his physical attributes don't suggest longevity in the sport, and when injuries start to creep up, no one wants to take the risk.

The habit of average teams that are growing is selling their players first money thinking that they can get some average players that will perform at that same level with their players, and this is mostly why they failed because these players that lead the team to the same level they are now are capable of doing the same thing and more than what they have did if more quality players are added to the team. But the case of Como might be different if Cess Fabregas remain their head coach, he will encourage the owners and management to keep signing more players to encourage the team so that they can compete again next season in Serie A.

The teams to join the Champions League next season: - Inter - Napoli - Roma - Como Milan and Juventus are both out of top 4 as you know. There is no extra performance spot by UEFA either because of showing no success in those tournaments as well... It's really worrying to watch the downfall of the Serie A. Maybe they are still among top European leagues but I doubt they are in top 3 at the moment.
