His problem at Manchester United was him being too rigid, he knows well that his approach was not working but he still refuse to change it and that literally cost him his job. He was very good at sporting and a lot of clubs were keeping tabs on him but at the end it didn’t go well at Manchester United.

Well it really nice to see him at Milan, a club that is trying to rebuild so he will have that opportunity to build the club the way he wants. For me I want him to succeed at Milan, not for his sake but for Milan sake, they really deserve to challenge f or the scudetto next season.

The problem of many good coaches failing in Manchester United is the failure to adopt the system that would encourage success. Amorim has so much potential and he needs another home where he can exhibit his talent. Milan is where his skills as a coach can be proven. Much is expected of him in the way of reviving glory to the giants of Italy.

Nico Paz, only he knows what he's doing. I know that when you go to Italy you fall in love with the country and its teams, it's normal, anyone can do that. But he won't earn the same as he will at Real Madrid. The future he can build there is unique. Anyway, things happen that way here. What I'm saying is that opportunities only come once in a lifetime, and if you let it pass, it might never come again.

I believe that Nico Paz did all this in concert with his father, who certainly cares about him and knows what is best for him.
Anyway, as they say in Argentina, Nico Paz doesn't exist at the moment, he still has to improve if he wants to get into the squad of the strongest Argentines, and therefore into the national team.

Haven't seen the Italian Serie A fixtures for next season yet, so I'll check it out later. But with what you've said here, I think the big teams got favourable fixtures in the first match week. Inter Milan I don't think will struggle to beat Monza, Juventus should also be able to defeat Frosinoni and Napoli against Genoa, it should also go Napoli's way.
That said, these will be their first game of the season and we know that first league matches of the season usually come with surprising result so we can't be too sure about them. So if you're betting on them, you should be cautious of the options you go for.

The first fixtures are tricky in the Premier League. I dont know if it is the same in the Italian league. Juventus last season cut a lot of my ticket. I'm having a double mind picking them to win small teams this season. I would rather choose them to beat a bigger team in Serie A than to win a small team. In the first game week, my picks for the big team will be 1X. To win or draw, cause im not taking any chances.

Good points. But everyone is talking about the player, no one speaks about Madrid inventing this whole sell kids and keep a buyback thing. They have done it with Carvajal, Morata, Odegaard. It is a pattern at this point. But with Paz, it is the most aggressive version yet. They sold him for ?60m, pocketed their huge profit and held an option to repurchase him next year for ?80m. They are passing the costs of development and all of the risks to Como. If he gets injured? Como's problem. What if he is a world class player? Madrid swoops in at a discount.

Odegaard experienced the same. Returned to Madrid too soon, failed to make an impact and joined Arsenal where he became captain. Paz obviously looked at that and thought nah, not me. Smart kid honestly. Still, people need to temper expectations a bit. Como way outperformed what the underlying numbers suggested last season. Things tend to balance themselves out. Even if Paz plays as well, his stats may be worse. Then all will panic for no reason. But at 21 with Champions League football coming? He is right where he should be.

It's clear that they have found an alternative way to do things, compliments to them nothing to say.

Amorim and Manchester United didn't work out really... He was like the worst manager for them in the recent years statistically. But at Milan maybe things would be more different.

But like I said before, I just hope Milan board acts according to his demands. He would like to shape the team according to his system. Milan shouldn't refrain from spending money and it seems like they have money as well considering how much they have spent for Ramos.

amorim is definitely a coach with talent, but you also have to try to inculcate your playing style so that everyone is happy and able to do much more, however being charismatic is very important to transfer the information to the players who will then follow you on everything, also improving the playing style.

Nico Paz is still coming up and needs to wait for his turn because Argentina have a lot of players that are more experienced than him in the national team. That was still the reason why he was loaned to Como in order to enable him build himself till he is strong enough to join the big boys.

All the managers that came last season and the season before at Manchester United ruined their career. Amorim was doing so well at Sporting Lisbon. Everyone expected him to replicate the same performance when he came to Manchester United. Unfortunately for him and the club, the expectation was too much. Amorim failed at Manchester United.

sometimes success can't be measured, you just do it, not everyone succeeds because expectations are sometimes high and not everyone manages to respect them even if in the end the results are good but not enough, there are teams that want excellent results straight away and those that win in the top championships are like that.

Manchester United has a very specific job to do, to return to the top of world football, and when you have such a heavy and difficult objective, you have to move forward and try to find the right man who can move forward, and build one of the best teams in Europe, if they don't succeed they're out, it's simple.

Retuning to the top does not actually look like the problem here because if we check well, they do not look like they are at the bottom,  but staying at the top is where the challenge will be.  Currently they are amongst the top three in the English Premier League,  they are also at the champions league,  these are top positions that needs some sort of maintenance,  firstly will be trying to attempt winning either of the title or staying at the top of the tables.

So here's a discussion that's actually pretty interesting but rarely comes up in this thread. Have you noticed how Roma have improved every single season?

IMO, Gasperini hasn't made drastic changes to Roma's squad. Instead, he's been gradually strengthening the team by bringing in quality players while keeping the key ones. I genuinely believe that next season Roma will be in the title race.

It's realistic that everything needs a process, but it cannot be denied that Amorim has failed with Manchester United, but this also cannot be used as a reference with AC Milan later because this is a different position for Amorim in terms of support or targets from management and also Serie A and the Premier League are different so for Amorim in the next season it is worth supporting and waiting because if AC Milan management fully supports Amorim to bring in quality players and is patient in starting the process, it is not impossible that Amorim will be successful with AC Milan.

I guess Roma performance since this coach took over is not bad and they are still doing their best to ensure they maintain a good position that will make their fans happy at the end of the tournament. Indeed they really performed well in this season, because the hope of many people is that Roma will be the club to lift last trophy but they started reducing strength that made them to ended up in 3rd position in the Italian league tournament.

If care is not taking, Roma will withstand inter Milan that won the trophy last season, because they have discovered some of their strategies they are using to play Italian league clubs, which was the reason they find it difficult to beat Roma the way they used to beat Roma to grow their points last season. It can only be the effort of Roma coach, and he still deserve another opportunity to do more next season.

Good things could happen for Amorim with Milan if he also gets the trust and respect from the players. With a better atmosphere in the team, it could improve communication on the field. 
It seems Milan has also started moving in the transfer market to get the players Amorim wants. But let's just wait and see how Amorim builds progress for Milan in the new season.

I think Inter should just focus on Serie A for now,, because their defeat in the play-offs is proof that their current performance is not on par with the other teams competing in the UCL. So rather than having high expectations for the UCL,, I think they should just accept the situation. Because in the first leg, Inter lost 3-1, and so in the upcoming second leg, Inter must defeat Glimt 3-0, and honestly, I think that will be quite difficult.

Because in the second leg,, the Glimt players will certainly put up much stronger resistance than in the first leg. So,, with that in mind, I think Inter will definitely fail to advance to the next round. Therefore,, focusing on Serie A is the right move for Inter, as they are currently at the top of the standings and just need to maintain their current performance to become champions.

It's very easy to for Inter Milan to combine both the chase for the Serie A title and the UCL so I don't see any reason for the Italian side should focus only on the Serie A, they are the only Italian side that has what it takes to win the UCL right now as far as Italian clubs are involved, they have the financial strength, they have a good squad, the only thing that this team lacks now is a good coach that could push this team to achieving this feat.

Everyone will definitely blame Amorim if Milan's performances are not strong and stable. Manchester United have given him ample opportunities. Big funds are also provided for player purchases. Amorim was also able to form strong squads. Even then, Manchester United's performance did not improve. But Carrick has done a fantastic job with the same squad after Amorim was sacked. Manchester United finished the season third in the table.

Milan is one of the most renowned teams in serie a. This season they could not qualify for the Champions League. If Milan can stay in the top 3 of the table with the help of amorim next season, fans will probably consider it a success. But being in the top 3 of serie A is not easy. The competition is quite intense

Inter Milan is every season contender for the scudetto and Coppa Italia. For UEFA Champions League, they can progress to advanced stages in that competition but to be able to win it, they have to obtain a good coach but also other players to multiple their options in case of injuries or a hard game against top opponents like Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Napoli, AC Milan and Roma are way behind them for UEFA Champions League.

Statistically, it seems Amorim has turned out to be the worst manager in United's history. But this is easily explained: he arrived mid-season and began radically restructuring the team's style of play without prioritizing Premier League results (such were the terms agreed upon with management, who refused to wait until the end of the season - as Amorim had wanted - and instead gave him a "now or never" offer). In the Europa League, he reached the final but lost to Tottenham - which is certainly disappointing, yet it still marked a significant achievement.

Yes, the amount of players' wages at Juventus is monstrous for a team that hasn't even managed to qualify for the Champions League, and this is something that will certainly be reduced, i is sure that Dusan Vlahovic will actually leave the team and i is convinced that he will do so shortly because he really earns a lot.

Actually Vlahovic already left the team, he is currently free agent because his contract with Juventus expired on the 30th of June. He is no longer a Juventus player. The interesting thing is that it looks like he is still in talk with Juventus because their agents have ben looking for months for a team accepting his (crazy) salary requests but until now no one made him an offer. So now they are checking with Juventus whether they are still interested in a deal. He's getting what he deserves.
