Dybala, by the way could have left Roma as a free agent, but he signed a one-year contract extension with Roma until the summer of 2027. However, I couldn't find any information about him cutting his salary almost in half. I don't think that would be logical, because many clubs would have wanted the forward as a free agent, and he certainly wouldn't have had to cut his salary in half.

He did not want to leave Roma, and he loves this club a lot since a day of their welcome celebration to him years ago. He can easily earn a lot of money by moving to Saudi Arabia but his love for Roma keeps him there, at least one more season. But it is a consequence that must be taken, ready not ready they must be ready to do the game in many leagues that today they qualify as a team that succeeds and that becomes the expectation of many teams so must take advantage and maximize it as well as possible.
If they are not ready, it is better to step back than to just exhaust themselves if they don't want to, I think they are ready to be tired and compete as well as possible because now is the best moment to show themselves in the champions League and of course there will be more who look at them if they succeed at least one step better.

I agree with you. If you want to do well on  2/3 platforms, you definitely need a lot of players in  the squad. Even at least  2 players in the same position will be needed. Because if you have to play 2/3 matches a week, the  players will naturally get tired, many players will face  injuries. If this happens and if there is no suitable  replacement, then the team's performance will definitely deteriorate. We saw this in girona's performance. So Fabregas will definitely have to play very carefully. A very  tough challenge awaits Fabregas.

What you said could certainly happen to Como, given the fiercer competition in the Champions League, making them unable to compete for further advancement. As for Serie A, it's possible that Como will perform much better than they did last season, although the competition in Serie A varies from season to season. But Como certainly knows their opponents in Serie A, so the level of competition is certainly comparable to theirs, although reaching the top of the standings at the end of the season will still be challenging.

From what has been seen in the last few seasons makes me a little optimistic about Como because I think that this positive progress is possible to continue in the next season but of course Como management will be realistic in determining targets especially they just qualified for the Champions League this season so I will not expect much from Como in the Champions League competition maybe for Serie A it will be a little different, this team will definitely prioritize Serie A and compete to win the title even though it will still be difficult for the Como team.

Dybala is a good enough player. He was a very promising player. But luck was not with him. He did not get  enough opportunities in the argentina squad. He did not even get a place in the argentina squad in this world cup.

Dybala is behind because of injuries. He could not play  30+ matches in serie A in any season. He appeared in 22 matches last  season too. When players face major injuries, it naturally affects their overall performance. It becomes quite difficult to adapt to the players  and perform well when they get a chance in the  squad after a long time. Dybala should be more aware of fitness issues.

Dybala, knowing his condition and what he can give to Roma, knows that he is not continuous and also knows that Roma have deservedly qualified for the Champions League, and given Roma's significant improvement they can also do very well in the Champions League, so i think he did well to stay in an environment that stimulates him.

Dybala signed a new contract with Roma, almost cut half of his previous salary, and it's a one-year contract. AS Roma signed a new contract with Dybala but they let Zeki Celik moves to Juventus according to news I read so it is official because both clubs already announced it. I still don't know there are any other players moving between Juventus and AS Roma as part of Celik transfer.

As a Juventus player I'm still happy for Dybala because he's giving a lot to Roma too, he couldn't have come to Juve because he wouldn't have found space given his now usual injuries, and a player who when he's well remains devastating and Roma as a slot is always useful to have a Dybala, Celik who arrived yesterday in Turin and a bet for Juve so we'll see how he joins the group.

You have a good point which I will not try to dispute,  it is true that they all have blood flowing in them just like others, it is also true that they have football as their profession and should be able to cope and deliver with anything it comes with, but again there are times when experience does matters, an experience team does know how it feels to play multiple competitions at a time,  and how to manage themselves through it to be able to maintain their form in all, but for a team like Como who has no recent experience,  we should not be expecting much from them, because they most likely will not be able to do that much.

Corruption with not timely changes in rules of the league and a few clubs internal issues makes things at this level even worse. Still, they have time, and they can do much for improvement, but they need to do this quickly; otherwise, this will end with no way of return at the top. Six to seven clubs have the potential to do their best and have things on track, but recently they are also not able to bring in good players. This increases their decline and also has a big impact on the Italian national team.

Next season will be difficult for them to get the same results as last season, Juventus, Milan and Atalanta who experienced decline and finished behind them certainly will not stay silent, but Como is in better condition than these teams, if Como investment in the market succeeds in increasing the strength of his team then the opportunity to get a ticket to the UCL is open, if not, maybe they will only compete for a place in the Europa League or Conference League.

I never understood why Dybala kept on insisting being part of Roma squad. I mean it is obvious that he became worse and worse there, and he could have either moved to a worse team and be bigger player of a small team, or he could have moved toa  better team and be bench player instead.

In either case, he would be providing more than he odes at Roma, no idea why he insists on being there. In my opinion he is basically ending his career there, I know he is not that old, but at this point, I doubt he would have a good career after this.

There might be one or two reasons that others don't know why he chose to stay in Rome and extend his contract until next year. 
He’s not ready to retire yet, and I think next year could be the right time for him to look for a new club. Whether in a bigger league, or going to a smaller league to get a starting spot in the squad.

Following all the Italian league clubs games, it will be hard for Como to display what will make people to believe that they will be among the top clubs in this Italian league, because other clubs will do everything possible within their power not to allow new club to beat them to secure points. I know some clubs will not have the money to sign new players but if they experienced some challenges from their players last season and they fail to replace some players with new players, I guess Como will use such club shine in this new season.

If you are talking about players Como have, they are good players but the old clubs in this Italian league will not allow them to do what will make people to feel or think that Como will lift this trophy.

This is also why teams with limited depth often impress for only one season. While a team might impress one season and even qualify for the Champions League, the following season they fail in all competitions. In the Champions League, they're merely participants or simply participating, never winning a single game. In the league they can't maintain consistency failing to secure a UCL spot the following season.

This happened to Girona in La Liga. In Serie A, it also happened to Bologna in 2024, after qualifying for the Champions League the following season they finished ninth in the standings. So, Fabregas must learn from these teams next season, as limited squad depth will certainly struggle to perform optimally in every match with a busy schedule.

Como will need to figure out how they could spend more money, because they already did spend a lot with this Paz deal, and they still need a lot more players. They are not good enough to be top four in Serie A while also being top 24 in UCL at the moment. They can give up UCL for the year, and just focus on the league if they want to, but nobody does that.

So I think it is quite important to realize that we are going to see this team make a lot more moves, maybe not right now but they will do it until the deadline arrives. I am expecting at least 3 more great players, maybe more but at least three more great players. One for defense, and one for winger, and just to make it more fun, maybe another midfielder could make sense, or they get just a straight up amazing striker.

I don't see any problem in Como filling the squad with players from various countries. With the same squad they finished last season in top 4 in the end. They can do better with the current policy.

No doubt Como surprised everyone especially when they were getting good results against strong opponents and at the end of the season they got rewarded for performing well as they qualified for the champions League. Next season they are expected to perform even better but they have a bigger challenge now because of their participation in the league and other competition but I wish to see another team doing well like Como at least the top 4 should not be between the well known teams.
