If you follow the last season till end you will know that Italian league clubs have potential players and it may be the reason some of the clubs will not sign plenty new players in this season.

I guess Juventus coach still have trust on some of his players against next season, but if you flash back what Juventus played last season despite they did not win the trophy but they are better than other clubs in the Italian league tournament.

From my observation, I don't think those Italian clubs have the kind of players needed to compete at the highest level. If they did, clubs that played in the Champions League would not be eliminated so easily. It is only Inter Milan that even tried to compete in the Champions League, and even they didn't go as far as expected. They got eliminated by Bodo/Glimt, so if Inter Milan had been that good, they might not have been knocked out by a team like Bodo/Glimt.

If Italian clubs want to perform better in the Champions League, most of them need to strengthen their squads with some great players. Even Juventus I don't think their coach fully trusts the current players. That is why they haven't signed all the players many fans expected them to add to the team. I just feel that the people who own Juventus don't want to spend the money needed to rebuild the club. It has been several seasons now that Juventus has been below its usual standard, performing well below our expectations.

Openda is 26 years old, played 24 games, scoring only 1 goal and providing 0 assists. Is he really a good player for Juventus' attack and would he lead them to the championship?

Jérémie Boga is 29 years old, played only 15 games, scoring 4 goals and providing only 1 assist. Will Jérémie Boga be enough for Juventus to win the championship?


Udinese reached an agreement with Nicolò Zaniolo to sign a new contract until June 2029 with an option to extend it until 2031. This Friday, Udinese has a friendly match against Swansea City. To be honest, I can't understand Juventus' direction and their coach. Zeki Çelik plays as a defender, so why is Juventus signing a defender? It doesn't make sense to me. Last season, Juventus conceded 34 goals in 38 games, while Inter, the champions, conceded 35 goals in 38 games, and Napoli, who finished second, conceded 36.

I agree and not here because if you look at the benchmark last season then maybe Juventus shouldn't need a defender because there is much more important for them to fill than a defender but looking at the players they have signed it seems that this is functioned to fill the void at right back and fill the depth of the squad especially Zeki Åelik also comes with a free agent with flexible abilities considering he can be a defender in CB,RB or defensive midfielder or attacking midfielder.

This is probably what Spalleti is thinking at the moment because with Zeki Celik's position flexible enough, he can be placed anywhere when the situation is urgent even though the initial focus remains on the right back.

It's just that if Spalleti is aware that the improvement of the midfield and attack must be a priority, their midfield still looks weak because the flow of the ball is always cut off even when playing against other strong teams such as Napoli, Inter or others sometimes they actually lose the direction of attack because their midfield loses.

Guardiola is not only able to improve players, but he understands very quickly what kind of player is missing in which position to optimize the team. Now what are the chances that a coach like Guardiola ends up at current Juventus Turin? ... 

Financially I don't really know how Juventus is doing. I haven't read about any financial distress in a while, but didn't really follow the club anymore recently.

And money would not convince Guardiola because he comes from Manchester City. What could Juventus offer him to get him sign a contract? I don't think there is any way he would do that. Guardiola loves high potential teams with lots of financial resources and I don't think Juventus has any of these.

As for selling the club to the billionaire, I am not sure what the rules are or whether that option exists because Juventus is publicly listed, aren't they? I would have to look into the details now but I am too lazy to do that.

Haha, that's his opinion so it doesn't matter maybe he compares each squad with all the competitors, while I agree with you it would be better to wait for their match in the Champions League from there we can know whether Como is truly worthy of competing in the Champions League. Promoted in 2024 season, Como finished 10th their first season back, before leaping straight to 4th place to qualify for Champions League ahead of Milan and Juve. It is not a luck, it's a good club.
And that is right it is too early to make decisions about teams before they have played even one CL game. Champions League is totally different, however. League phase with 36 teams, travelling, switching players, pressure, that is all new land for Como.
My honest opinion is that they will find it difficult in the group stage but much will be learned. Knockouts would be quite success but never say never with this club.

Not every player has to be a star; the squad also needs rotation players who can contribute to the team from time to time. A football team needs these kinds of players who can provide maximum efficiency with minimum cost.

The Italian league needs promotions and media influence to attract fans the more. Players who are talented prefer visibility which is why it's like they choose the premier League and Laliga to sign for. I will even say that Italian league started gaining more views and interest since the arrival of Christiano Ronaldo which brought to the league more fans around the globe and since his exit, no much star players have lasted in the league. Now young players want to be seen and apart from inter Milan, their teams don't last long in the champions League which also scares young talents who want to shine on the global stage.

I won't see Italy's absence in the world cup for a long time as a major reason for the poor performance of their league, I think they only need to invest in the league, more promotions and then being ready to afford young foreign talents. Foreign talents sometimes has a higher influence in remote leagues because they come along with millions of fans boosting the league in a short time better than players from the grassroots. If more foreign talents start arriving there, their grassroot players will start gaining visibility that will also help them play in other top leagues around the world, gaining experience that they will then bring back to the national team and push the national team to the world cup in this modern era.
