Right now Inter are still the best team, by far, so I think they are going to win the Serie A again. It's going to be interesting to see what the other teams will do: if they buy a couple of right players we could have some serious contenders. On paper Inter should have won more leagues during the last years, but it didn't happen. That means the league is kind of unpredictable, and that's a good thing.
I don't really agree that they are by far the best team in the championship but they are certainly slightly favored also because the other big teams in the championship such as Milan, Juve and Napoli are not yet making a real noteworthy market, moreover there are a lot of redundancies to deal with before thinking about improving.
Well, Inter basically have 2 teams, they can change a lot of players and the line up would still be good. Napoli are a good team too but as soon as they have a few injuries or disqualified players, their quality drops. Inter are a way more complete team than Napoli, that's why for me they are better.

Inter, the reigning champion of the Italian league, nearly lost to Karlsruher SC, a team from Germany’s second division. In a match that ended scoreless in the first half, Karlsruher managed to take a 1-0 lead early in the second half. Trailing as the match entered its final minutes, Inter secured a victory in the preseason game thanks to two goals by Andy Diouf. Of course, Inter had more possession and took twice as many shots as their opponent, so I found it interesting that they couldn’t score until the final minutes. Still, Andy Diouf, who came on in the second half, managed to score the goals that secured the victory against the second-division team.

Let me say it as some would say it just to cover for the mistake that would have happened, "it was a friendly game that's why". Well I was  expecting them to lose that game, it wasn't something serious if not we would have seen the armies of Inter Milan humiliating the Karlsruher team, Inter wasn't ready to stress the 1st team players and check out their players it was all new faces that was given the opportunity to play so we shouldn't expect much to happen in that friendly encounter.
This friendly games we see especially the big side against a smaller team is suppose to be all about the smaller team to express themselves, try out their players and it should be a privilege that they played against a big side, the Serie A Champions Inter Milan, so they should enjoy playing against them because on a normal day it can't happen for both teams to clash horns, no it can't.

I assume things aren't going well for Roma when it comes to summer signings... So far there are 2 names to have been added:

- Malen (who already played on loan last season and now he is permanent)
- Daniele Ghilardi from Verona

They were after Summerville but they couldn't compete Al-Hilal in the race. They paid 64 million euros for him. He is going to make 14 million per year so how can Roma compete that?

For Roma, so far there is Santiago Castro from Bologna who concluded the deal. There is Antonio Nusa from RB Leipzig which is asking a price between €55m - €60m.
I don't know about Rafael Leão because rumours are circulating that his agent is seeking a move to Roma.
Roma in the other hand has to let some players move out to stay stable financially and it is Manu Kone potential move to Manchester United that is being in talks. Artem Dovbyk might go to Bologna also.
At the end, Roma should push hard if they want to conclude deals because any other team could ruin that for them..

Sky Sports News has confirmed the advances and links from Inter Milan towards Argetine international and Tottenham Hotspur Captain Cuti Romero.

I don't know if they still have advances to sell Bastoni because he was recently linked with a move to Barcelona. All that got brushed under the rug but with the FIFA World Cup Competition done, new discussions could possibly happen. John Stones a free transfer have also been linked with Inter Milan but there seem to be more push for the Argentine Cuti Romero.

First pre-season fixture for Ruben Amorim and AC Milan and a draw was the outcome against the Scottish side Celtic. That aside we can acknowledge the good football they played.
I think it's the same as last preseason. Milan played very well in all the preseason friendlies. They were so good that it seemed like the whole season would be a success for them. But then it turned out they had a really bad start to the season, and the coach was fired. So I don't think you should pay too much attention to the preseason matches. What's more important is how they start the season and how well Amorim can strengthen the squad before the season starts.

None of the other top contenders seems to have a competitive squad for the Serie A title now. Napoli looks like the only team that might be able to put up a fight depending on Allegri's strategies.

However Inter also needs to keep the squad strong... There have been some departures and we haven't seen many convincing transfers yet from them.  Tongue  If they do it until the end of the summer then I will also see them a clear favourite again.

It just got to my knowledge now that Inter Milan won that match by 2:1 because i saw them losing against Karlsruher till it was almost getting to 90 minutes, didn't know that Andy Diouf netted a brace in injury time. I know that this is a preseason match but Inter Milan didn't try in this match because even though they had many shots on target but they lacked precision which is why they didn't score in the first half and looking at the ball possession, both teams are almost equal because Karlsruher had 44% ball possession while Inter Milan had 56% ball possession. It is good that Inter Milan won the match at last but they should take they should do better in their next preseason games because they need to maintain a good energy ahead of the new season.
Yeah they scored to late goals to seal their victory. The thing with some of these big clubs especially in preseason games is that they aren't always lucky because most times they start very incompetent players, academy boys are given a chance to play but the going has gotten tough, then you'd start seeing the big boys coming in. Inter waited a whole first 45 minutes and better part of the second half before they could get the first goal and then 90+4 they scored the winner. What where they waiting for since or didn't it occur to them early on that they were losing?
I know one can't use the performance of preseason games to rate a team but I hope we won't see such things when the season starts.

Roma are also considering signing Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG on loan to strengthen the squad depth. They were also interested in Matteo Ruggeri, but according to his agent, he is not for sale and intends to stay at Atlético. I think the choice between Atlético and Roma is pretty obvious at the moment.

The summer transfer window is still open, so there's plenty of time for Roma to strengthen the squad. Gasperini has always been ambitious when it comes to building his teams, especially in attack. In the end, I think everything will depend on how much money Roma are willing to spend on new signings.

They say that Ruggeri risks being suspended for a few months (perhaps a season) if the investigation being carried out by Italian journalists turns out to be true. It seems the player sent audio messages containing racial slurs and profanity to some girls, and an investigation appears to be underway, at least, that’s the rumour going round. Roma have failed to secure their main transfer targets; to be honest, things aren’t looking good for Gasperini. Of course, Dybala always makes the difference, but his fitness is consistently a cause for concern.

I know one can't use the performance of preseason games to rate a team but I hope we won't see such things when the season starts.

Winning preseason games is not luck, you have already talked about starting incompetent players which slows down the performance of a team and that is it. It's fine when a team start some of their academy boys during preseason matches but they should understand that they need to win those matches because despite that they are not serious matches but it will be an insult to see a low quality team win a big team just because it's a preseason match. These small clubs literally start their best players while the big teams gamble their chances of winning by featuring their junior players to see if any of them can be given a chance in the senior team.

However, a team like Inter Milan should know that people will always look up to them in any preseason match they are playing and expect them to win when they meet a team that they are way stronger than. If Andy Diouf had not scored that 2 die minute goals, that is how Inter Milan would have just lost that match to Karlsruher.

I think Serie A teams are sending their promising young players to lower leagues to keep them under their wing for at least another year, with the intention of promoting them to the first team if the opportunity arises.

I would say that the final aim of loans involving young players is precisely that, normally when a team sees potential in a young player to whom they are unable to give the right space in the team, they tend to send him on loan to lower categories or less strong teams to ensure that they can develop their skills thanks to the playing time they receive.

Hopefully after the investigation is over, he can be cleared of legal entanglements for the insults, because the games will resume next season anyway.
Dybala is a good player, but his fitness is a major issue, and next season will have a significant impact, as it has happened in recent seasons, and Roma's overall performance will certainly be problematic.
Gasperini will have to think hard about how to overcome Roma's failure to sign their top target, because without a solution, it will be difficult for him to improve the team from the previous season. This will not be good for Roma and the concerns about their journey next season will be quite problematic because other teams are much better prepared to face the competition.

Playing in many competitions is not always easy for any team that does not have enough quality players. In fact, only a few teams are usually able to perform well in every competition. So, next season I have lowered my expectations for Como because they will be playing in the Champions League, as well as other Italian competitions. If they want to do well in Serie A, they may need to take their eyes off some competitions and focus more on Serie A and, possibly, the Champions League.

To play in 3 such important competitions without ever having a drop in performance, the only thing to do is to have a squad that is decidedly developed from a physical point of view, because otherwise the risk is of having too many injuries and not being able to manage them, so calculate an excellent rotation of players depending on the competition.

However, for some players who are loaned out, it's not necessarily because they're bad or incompetent at the team they're signed to, but rather because they're simply lazy in certain situations. For example, Rashford, who was loaned out by Manchester United to Barcelona, immediately made a difference in his performance at Barcelona. However, at Manchester United, he seemed to lack the passion to fight in every game. So, loans aren't solely due to a lack of development, but also because they've grown weary of the atmosphere at their previous team.

However, Inter is much weaker this season than last year. Many strong players have left, or those who were excellent for mid-match substitutions. Sommer De vrij Acerbi Darmian Dumfries, but I haven't liked the substitutes that much so far. Provedel has experience but isn't a reliable first-choice goalkeeper, and Martinez doesn't seem very secure either. Diouf is playing in place of Dumfries, but it's not his natural position. Rather, this Inter seems to me to be an open construction site

Last season, Como even signed around nine new players, and I think it might be the same this time around.

Como knows how to move on the market, thanks to a coach who knows what he wants and a president who gives him what he asks for, Como had a truly excellent season last year and could repeat it or even improve, however now he will have to juggle between the championship, Italian cup and champions league, we'll see if he has a squad that meets expectations.

not only are they two teams but they are two strong teams but also two teams that have been playing together for a long time
who are in harmony and agreement, who are truly in tune when they play
In this way, in my opinion, Inter will secure another Scudetto, without any problems.
I'm not sure that Inter will secure the Scudetto again, this season looks like it will belong to Juventus with what Juventus has done in the last few seasons, so I'm more realistic in choosing clubs and predicting the right one to win the Scudetto next season.  Grin

Your assessment is accurate, and Inter should be considered one of the most prepared clubs for that in Serie A, if not the most prepared club itself. Inter has invested heavily on players headcount, so that if there are heavy injuries, or even higher numbers of tournaments to play in a season, there will not be a problem of overusing their players that are feeling stressed. This is a good plan that sometimes help them to move higher and maintain a higher rank when their opponents' players have injuries or are overused.

Nobody knows, we can say that she is the favorite without a doubt
we can say that he has a good chance of making it, but that he will win for sure seems a little exaggerated to me
Inter fans certainly hope for it and they are convinced, but let's remember that the championship is long and there are other strong teams.
