Usually when this happens, after a bad game or defeat it brings everyone back to the real world
always like this
we expect a coach or even a player to arrive who will solve the problems as if by magic

However, the problems that Milan has cannot be solved by magic by a single coach, it is practically impossible for that to happen
they will notice
Milan has good players, but they still have work to do. I think Amarim will try his best, but I don't see him as a coach who can come in and fix everything and save the team. Especially since Milan has undergone a lot of changes in management and coaching staff since last season, so I think this will have an impact on their new season, but I doubt it will be for the better.
Actually, the season hasn't even started yet. Let the season begin and see what he can do with Milan; then I think we can make more informed comments. Perhaps Ruben Amorim could repeat his magnificent period at Sporting Lisbon at Milan? If so, he could become one of the best managers Milan has ever seen. However, we are all skeptical of him because of his unsuccessful period at Manchester United. Maybe we should just let him do his job. It will be a tough race for the Portuguese manager because every team in Italy is considered strong. I don't think he's going to an easier place than the Premier League. The competition was high in the Premier League, and it will be high in Italy as well.
You have just pointed out the reason why i can't rush into conclusions about any clubs because the season has not even started and even though the league will officially start soon, i can't still decide the faith of any clubs until the season is almost in the middle of the season, I hope managers are aware on how coaches are being sack, so it is not longer news to all managers last season, as a manager you should be able to play role very well because once you are find  incompetent as a manager, they will surely change such manager and replace another manager, so i believe that Ruben Amorim will uplift AC Milan into a greater hight within his years of experience.

Ruben Amorim made me an AC Milan fan actually for the very first time with this move to Ac Milan and trust me when I tell you that, I'm loyal whenever I support a side.
I will be supporting them henceforth.

I don't know it all about AC Milan, but Ruben Amorim is competitive and passionate, he will do everything possible to fight for the fans. I'm so keen to see the outcome of the first game against Torino. Even the legendary Luka Modric seems to be interested in the the manager.

Let us hope they can find a way into the top four standing.

Of course, the hope is always that a manager will achieve his aims and lead the team he manages to victory, but we know just how many difficulties this job entails and how many variables lie beyond his control. I remain convinced that Amorim will struggle at Milan because he isn’t the manager the club needed; however, if they are patient and give him at least a couple of seasons, then something positive might come of it. Otherwise, if they want to win straight away, it won’t work out for him.

Snip.
Milan are going through a tough transition right now because of all the changes in management and the coaching staff. That makes an instant revival under Ruben Amorim unlikely. Amorim doesn’t have a magic wand to fix all of Milan problems in short-time. And experience wise, he’s still way behind Massimiliano Allegri.
It’s going to be an uphill battle for Milan this season. With so much instability behind the scenes and a new system to learn, doubts about progress are bigger than any hope of a quick turnaround. On top of that, Amorim record in European competitions is still unproven. If the board want Milan back challenging for titles, they’ll have to give him time and Patiently awaiting the results.

The process is certainly necessary and all coaches are the same and for Ruben Amorim I think it cannot be underestimated because however we also have to see the work that will be done by Ruben Amorim although I also do not deny that this is a difficult job for Ruben Amorim especially the AC Milan team has not had a strong foundation in the last few seasons and that is quite evident with their failures in the last few seasons.

Ruben Amorim took a big chunk out of his shoe by beating Manchester United, he showed that he knows how to coach. They treated him badly, but it's also true that he didn't do much good for Manchester United, but that doesn't mean he should be insulted or treated badly. Yes, it was a friendly match, but we know that winning helps you win. Milan played well.
This is what I expected to see from some Amorim after the game and we have been see some comments from those fans who wanted him to remain the coach of Manchester United despite him not getting the right results for the team. Truthfully AC Milan performance was good and the win was well deserved but it doesn't change the fact that Amorim didn't do much at United and sbuyt his treatment, he wasn't treated badly rather he had so many issues with the players despite not having poor performance with them.

Some Manchester United fans are ungrateful, they suddenly forgot how Carrick helped them get back to the Champions League using the same squad Amorim left behind, just because of a win in a friendly game, Amorim that finished in 15th position and wouldn't had finished in a better position.
That match against Manchester United was Amorim's first win in the preseason, if he was good enough why didn't he win other matches, so because he won Manchester United, Amorim United fans now feel he's the rightful person that would've take Manchester United back to their good old ways, so weird.

Generally, the whole United team was bad at that time, out of form, and realistically, they looked like a team that could have been relegated to the second division. Amorim showed that he can do it. This win may not be important in terms of the competition, but it is definitely important for him and his confidence. I'm glad that Ramos made his debut and scored a goal. We'll see how the season goes. I hope it will be an exciting one and that Napoli, the club i support, will win the title this year Smiley

I know so many Manchester United fans around my neighbourhood. None of them have talked down on Michael Carrick because of the loss to AC Milan. They are aware that friendly games are for preparation and experiments. Most sports fans have a short memory, as they easily forget the impact of players or coaches because of a few poor results. The EPL, UCL, and others are the main tests of the squad, not a single friendly game.

The reason why some United fans are angry is that they are seeing the win as revenge by Ruben Amorim. They were disappointed that a manager they sacked beat them mercilessly.

I have no expectation for Amorim. His time at Manchester United was very awful. He has not shown anything for me to trust him. Milan might have beaten Man United, but the other games they played were not convincing. Let's see how the season will go before I can say, for now, Amorim was a very underwhelming manager.
I know that a manager can be bad in one team but turn out to be good in another team; that is why I am still giving Amorim the benefit of the doubt. He was good in Sporting, but the Serie A is a more compettive league and considering that they have not bought enough quality players and might lose Leao, it might be a very difficult time for Amorim and AC Milan.

The teams they had were very strong, but that wasn't the problem. Manchester United's problem last year was precisely within the club. There was something wrong. Even with the signing of important players, the team never improved, the situation never changed. This is why i struggle to blame Amorim for the failures. With Carrick, it is an updated team, if they have found a situation that seems to work. We'll see how it goes.
Their main problem is from the club but, it seem like they’ve fixing most of their problems and getting prepared for upcoming seasons. Upon say they’ve never signed much players with this little one I’m sure their performances will be difference from last season, since they won’t allow what happen to them last season should repeat itself again in as far the club has know where most of their problems come from, in the next few weeks now the season will begin we will see which teams they can able to challenge.

Yes, you're absolutely right about that. Ruben Amorim achieved many unattainable successes with Sporting Lisbon. The English Premier League is a very difficult league, even for the most experienced managers. It was difficult for the Portuguese manager to adapt there. Of course, he didn't achieve what he wanted with Manchester United, but it's important to remember that the opponents he faced there were some of the best teams in the world. He will face a similar rivalry with Milan, but it's important to remember that it's a slightly less competitive league than the Premier League.

The teams they had were very strong, but that wasn't the problem. Manchester United's problem last year was precisely within the club. There was something wrong. It is easy to say that the problem of Manchester united last season was within the club but I don't understand how you came to this conclusion. Ruben Amorim came to Manchester United while enjoying an 11 games unbeaten run where he had 33 points in those games. The hope was high and it was like the club has arrived. How did the club not support him when he was allowed to sign as many players as he ever wanted? Was it not the same squad that Carrick used to push Man U to the top 3.

The problem may be from the club, but how does he manage his team? He words at training and dressing room? He can be good at AC Milan but it's until he has learned to manage his team rightly, knowing that every decision, every word used affects the on field results. Premier league is difficult, but are there not managers who win their games in the league?

Yes you are right, I think judging Amorim by results alone will not paint a complete picture. He has not been consistent enough in leading Manchester United and has not clearly improved the team as expected. Moreover, the times he has spent with Manchester United have been difficult in every aspect, from the dressing room to the situation. AC Milan played well that day and deserved to win, as a result of which Manchester United beat the team by a large margin. However, in the end, if a manager can maintain his consistency well and has a good relationship with the players, then the team can improve. By planning in all aspects, maintaining a good relationship with the players and moving forward with good strategies, then the team can become stronger.

Ruben Amorim clearly came to that sidelines with a solid mindset to loudly use a win against his old team to make a statement, he was eager to show the fans that he had something tangible to offer and also out a nice screw to his former squad so he can at least prove that he is a god manager or half descent one. That win he got was written all over his face that it was in someway personal to him, because in his last few weeks for Man U, he was called many horrible names and insulted. It was a friendly match but still a win is a win.

I didn’t watch the match between Milan and Manchester United. It was a friendly, and even though Milan won, it’s still just a friendly. It’s true that winning helps you win, but it’s also true that one swallow doesn’t make a summer! Milan still have a lot of room for improvement, and the league season is about to start.
Will Amorim be able to compete in Serie A?
Almost all Portuguese managers have fared badly in Serie A, with the exception of José Mourinho.
How will Ruben Amorim fare?

People are making a big deal out of that friendly win Milan got against Manchester United and that alone does not imply that Amorim will have a better season in the Seria A this season, he has a big challenge to face in the league.

Milan started last season very good and they were close to finishing as the runner up but they started losing matches they could have won and they finished out of the top four, so Amorim needs to maintain consistency in winning to bring back Milan to the European competitions and I don’t see him winning the serie A, not this season.

As far as this season is concerned, I’d say that Milan simply don’t have what it takes to compete for the Scudetto.
Inter, Napoli and Juventus are clearly better than the Rossoneri.
Amorim will have to give his all in this Serie A campaign and hope to achieve excellent results. Because, as we know by now, managers at Milan struggle to stay in the job for more than six months.

I have never been particularly keen on Gonçalo Ramos; in my view, there were better options out there, or at the very least, that player wasn't worth all that money. I think Milan needed a more old school striker, one who destroy all in the penalty area. Ramos needs the ball at his feet to score, and perhaps that's why they kept Modrić, but even so, it's not enough to bring back the Milan we used to know.

I have never seen the qualities in Gonzalo Ramos that everyone sees, simply because at Paris Saint-Germain he has always been a reserve and has never had the actual chance to demonstrate his true qualities.
I also think he took advantage of the opportunity to go to Milan, where he would have been at the center of the project, where he has already scored a goal in a friendly and where you can see that he has found a certain happiness in being able to play.
In any case, i still give Milan a negative outlook; in my opinion, they won't do anything.

Whatever it is, we should not be too pessimistic about Gonzalo Ramos because in my opinion, in terms of individual quality, he is very good, it's just that he doesn't get a lot of playing time to prove himself, so it's natural that he went to AC Milan with a long-term projection to improve Gonzalo Ramos' football career by getting a lot of playing time and contributing greatly to the team, but what must also be remembered is that it will not be easy.

The reason why some United fans are angry is that they are seeing the win as revenge by Ruben Amorim. They were disappointed that a manager they sacked beat them mercilessly.
It seems that Manchester United fans still can’t accept what Amorim did during his time at Manchester United. In fact, Manchester United fans might get even angrier if Amorim succeeds with Milan. However, regardless of whether Amorim succeeds or not at Milan, it’s clear that Manchester United fans will certainly criticize him, and we can see how some Manchester United fans are venting their disappointment toward Amorim on social media. Nevertheless, despite all these incidents, I hope Amorim can succeed with Milan, and I still believe in him as a talented coach.

You are correct and besides there is no coach who doesn't get luck of wining preseason matches even if they're not experience so actually for AC Milan wining Manchester United doesn't mean that he could coach more than Manchester United coach or even define him as a coach who would be very compatible with AC Milan on the league, Serie A have not started and most people had already believe there would be a bright season that awaits him, however I'm even surprise you are mentioning him on the Serie A trophy because I'm even wondering if he would retain the previous form of the club or the third position this season.
