Leipzig remains glued to the second place, making this Bundesliga season super exciting. It will be difficult for Bayern Munich to lose any more points on the road to the title but anything is possible considering that they also need to focus and concentrate on their most important goal of the season: Champions League. Leipzig is out of the European cup so it can concentrate on the national league only.

Leipzig's only motivations left are:

1. Bayern are still competing in the CL.
2. The Leipzig-Bayern match in Round 27.

If Leipzig benefit from this situation, everything can change. Otherwise, I also don't give any chance for Bayern to lose their advantage in the table and give up the Bundesliga title.

These guys are galvanized and you can see it when they play; we all know Bayern is very not likely to lose point down the road but I think Leipzig has a small chance to disrupt the tournament. The bavarians have a very important task to accomplish, which is to win Champions League and this will require their best having in mind who they are competing with. So it is doable, Leipzig could make the miracle here.

It is completely true. After seeing Bayern's incredibly awesome performance against Stuttgart despite having one less men, I really think Bayern will most probably win the title also in the end. I really hope Leipzig to maintain winning and stay in the competition. At least we could enjoy it even if Bayern become the winner of the league.

Xabi Alonso will be the new coach in Mönchengladbach ? I didn't have him on my mind at all. I don't know if Alonso is the right coach for the German Bundesliga.
he coached the youth team of real madrid. they were 13 and 14 years old. then he coached the team of real Sociedad San Sebastián in the 3 spanish league.
but that was the second team, the reserve team. those are completely different leagues than our german Bundesliga.
that's why I don't think Alonso is the right coach for mönchengladbach. if the rumours are true.

We wouldn't know for sure if he's up to the task of coaching the first team of a club until he's given to chance to show what he can do. Alonso excelled as a player and from what I read about his experiences with those youth teams he coached, he did a good job. So I'm of the opinion that he should be given a chance. Rangers gave Steven Gerrard a chance and look how far he has taken them to. It won't be too long now before he takes charge so let's wait and see.

I think it soo. But the main problem is Bayern Munich is in a good position on both the Bundesliga and the Champions League. They have a chance to win two titles. So they have to maintain the continuity of their performance in every match. Dropping a performance in a match will not be pleasant for Bayern.

Guess this was just a matter of time to be coming and you have seen it coming , specialy the last weeks on how the played and what they doing !
Also i think maxybe the next Coach changing can be seen in Hoffenheim if there will be nothing positiv will happen in the next weeks .
Dont know if the Coach changing will have some positive effect on Leverkusen. Lets hope as they are a good Team in the German League normaly.

It's a shame what happened to Bosz with Leverkusen recently. He failed to maintain the consistency of Leverkusen's game so he had to be willing to no longer have the chance to win the title at the end of the season. His last 13 game at Leverkusen have cost Bosz a loss of confidence there, and now a change of coach is a consequence for any coach who fail to take his club to the forefront. The change is expected to neutralize the atmosphere and make the team excited again.

Previously, Chelsea had made a change of coach mid-season and difference have emerged since then. I don't know if the new Leverkusen coach can do the same thing as Tuchel. But that's what was expected.

According to German newspaper Bild, Xabi Alonso will become coach of Gladbach next season. The contract negotiations are at an advanced stage and are as good as ready to be signed.  The current Gladbach coach Rose will move to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

It will be though for xabi alonso since coaching in a big league is always difficult with a lot of pressure and we will have to wait and see what happens but i think at the begining it will be rough a lot of good players weren't big coachs

Yeah, exactly. They need to balance both tournaments to have a chance to win them all. About a month ago, Bayern made important point losses against Bielefeld and Frankfurt consecutively. i already posted a few days ago that Peter Bosz will be fired as one of the next coaches. the Bayer Group expects completely different games from Leverkusen.
they should play at the top and not always deliver such catastrophic performances. and what leverkusen showed in some of the last games was really just amateur football.
but i doubt very much whether the new coach Hannes Wolf is that much better.
the Leverkusen millionaires won't make it easy for the very young coach. so I'm really curious to see whether the Leverkusen players can suddenly improve.

For a neutral spectator, a draw or a win by Leipzig would be welcome, as it keeps the league exciting. Should Bayern win, they would have a 7-point lead with 7 games left to play. Then Bayern would be as good as Bundesliga champion. Leipzig has the advantage that they can concentrate completely on the league (with the exception of the German Cup), while Bayern has to prepare for PSG in the CL. Leipzig could have as chances to win if they have a good day.

I especially don't understand what the hell has happened to Dortmund and Leverkusen. They have been too bad in the league for a very long time. Especially Leverkusen are worse now. They got another huge defeat this time against Hertha away. I think Dortmund and Leverkusen both don't have much chance for qualifying for the CL. And their ranking in the table at the end of the season could be like right now:

I also heard this news, but currently it's still a rumor. There has been no official word from the team officials. Alonso's age is still young, it is true that he coached the Segunda B team, if it is true that getting into Borussia Moenchengladbach is a big achievement. It's a good first step. If I were him, I would have accepted the offer. Budesliga is a pretty good league, although he doesn't have a lot of experience. Borussia Moenchengladbach saw Xabi's potential for the future. Xabi's history of achievements is also good, he has the Champions League title with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Why Leipzig, IMHO those guys are doing great! They're only 4 points away from Bayern Munich and they are keeping up quite well. I do see your point if we take Hoffenhein, Dortmund and Leverkusen into account as their respective seasons could have been much better.
I'm following Leipzig very closely, and trying to leverage on them when betting; I have a small but profitable bet if they win Bundesliga

Leipzig performance is somehow similar but Dortmund and Leverkusen were very weird this season and they don't deserve their positions seeing the actual results especially Leverkusen..
