Leipzig without any doubt done magical performance in last match specially after conceding early goal they were at top and then never allow their opponents to have any chance of fight back in this match.

Thats true , i was just watching the news ticker yesterday when the game has started and have seen that Greuther Fürth scored one goal , thought maybe another surprise.
But then i just watched again on the news ticker the result after the match was finished and saw they have destroyed them with 6 scored goals in the end.

Sad news for Leverkusen after they lost there game about Cologne also Wirtz got injured with a cruciate ligament tear and will be missing a long time.
Guess Wirtz will be also missing for the German national team for some time , fingers crossed he will be recovering fully after this.

Dortmund thankfully got the thing they wanted from the Mainz game. They were victorious by 1-0 at the end. And these three points are really important ones now. Because they are now only four points behind Bayern Munich officially. This is really exciting to me. We might finally see a real competition between Bayern Munich and Dortmund in the remaining time. But Dortmund really need to have a very consistent form from now on to keep up with them. Although Bayern Munich have started struggling, they are still the most reliable team.

The next 2 games are against teams between ranks 4 and 8, and could be quite difficult for both teams (e.g. Freiburg vs Bayern in 2 weeks or Koln vs Dortmund next week or Dortmund vs Leipzig in 2 weeks). Then they'll have 2 "easier" games and after that they play each other in Munich. The last 3 games are relatively easy again.
I still doubt that Bayern will lose many points in the remaining games. So the only way to beat them is to 1) also don't lose many points and 2) win the direct duel (which will be hard as Bayerns will play at home)

They made a total of 11 shots in the match. Winning this match reduced the points gap with Bayern Munich. Dortmund are now just 4 points behind Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich are a bit off form now. If they lose more points in upcomming matches then winning the title will be uncertain for them.

Dortmund are very lucky that they were able to score full points. After the first half was over I thought the match would probably be a draw. But in the 87th minute, Axel Witsel's goal helped Dortmund to score 3 points. Expectations were higher from Haaland in this match. But Haaland's presence on the field was not well noticed. I think clearly Dortmund can dominate the game because Dortmund has 57% ball possession, 11 goal attempts, 4 shots on goal, that is a good record and can lead in aggressiveness. So, this win is a deserved result and also, Mainz are a bit lucky because their goalkeeper played quite well and thus, this result is not a lucky one as Dortmund put a high effort to win.

Dortmund created many opportunities but did not succeed. But I was hoping to see better gameplay from Dortmund. Because Haaland was in the squad. I thought Haaland would score in this match. But Haaland did not play well. However, Dortmund will have to play better in the upcoming matches. If they are able to maintain the winning streak then they will be able to continue fighting for the title. Bayern Munich will not want to lose the title so easily.

Granted they played better than Mainz, but yeah it's like you said, luck hasn't been on their side. They should be happy because they got it even in the last minute before the final whistle sounded.

 Good game performance for Leipzig yesterday, making effective use of the shots. Imagine producing six goals of out of a total of seven is in mine opinion what I call well used. Considering thier fiery hot performances so far, one will believe they may continue in thier scoring streak against Frankfurt. I don't care what opponent Dortmund is going to face, they literally cannot drop any points. Because if they do, Bayern Munich is going to be out of their reach. And they will also have to pray that Bayern Munich loses their match because unless that happens they are not going to win the league title.

But, it seems highly unlikely for Bayern Munich to drop points in the upcoming matches. Going to be a hard job for Dortmund.

Erling Haaland's return after missing the last few games has had a very good impact on the confidence of the Dortmund players where they are currently again closing the gap with leaders Bayern Munich after a narrow victory over hosts Mainz, despite creating some dangerous chances but Borussia Dortmund only able to score one goal through Axel Witsel towards the end of the match while simultaneously making Dortmund's age power home with 3 points, with this result they are currently only 4 points adrift of the leader of the standings

Dortmund are doing a good job recently. They won against Mainz too and dropped the gap with the leader to four points now. And I've started wondering whether they can make this gap even less to have a chance for the championship for real. Dortmund have seemed to be an inconsistent team in general. But they have a big opportunity ahead now to make up for their mistakes. If Bayern Munich continue to make mistakes like this, Dortmund can change something about the league finally. I mean they could end this domination of Bayern Munich.
