Dortmund are doing a good job recently. They won against Mainz too and dropped the gap with the leader to four points now. And I've started wondering whether they can make this gap even less to have a chance for the championship for real. Dortmund have seemed to be an inconsistent team in general. But they have a big opportunity ahead now to make up for their mistakes. If Bayern Munich continue to make mistakes like this, Dortmund can change something about the league finally. I mean they could end this domination of Bayern Munich.

Today victory against mainz is a pretty important win for dortmund, the 3 points made them managed to extend their unbeaten run in 5 matches in the league, indeed now dortmund have a difference of 4 points with munich and make them return to the championship competition, I think if dortmund can maintain the consistency of their game of course it is not impossible that they can shift the position of munich, moreover they have the advantage of not playing in europe now and of course they have to be able to focus in the remaining league matches, while munchen which has a busy schedule can be ascertained if they will have a player fatigue factor and may make them slip in one or two games later, but the question now, is it possible dortmund can be consistent in the rest of the game?

And they was just unlucky for not score more goals and also have seen that Haaland is back and playing again.

Dortmund created many opportunities but did not succeed. But I was hoping to see better gameplay from Dortmund. Because Haaland was in the squad. I thought Haaland would score in this match. But Haaland did not play well. However, Dortmund will have to play better in the upcoming matches. If they are able to maintain the winning streak then they will be able to continue fighting for the title. Bayern Munich will not want to lose the title so easily.

In the match against Mainz, Dortmund's performance was not so good. Although the dominance of possession still belongs to Dortmund, what they have planned is not very effective.

You could say they in this match are late for the heat in my opinion
They had more chances towards the end in my opinion and fortunately they were able to win towards the end because it was a crucial minute and Dortmund managed to score there.
Good enough for the standings now as they are only 4 points behind and this will at least make Bayern wake up because in the last few games they have been too lazy with their draw

I think the champions in the Bundesliga will not be up for grabs for now even though Dortmund in the last few games have performed quite well and Bayern are stuck with 2 draws and 1 loss in their last 5 matches.
But still they will find it difficult to destroy Bayern's Hegemony, which has ruled the Bundesliga for 9 seasons.

Even though they are now only 4 points adrift, it will still be very difficult considering that Bayern's opponents in the rest of this match can be said to be quite easy.

Dortmund were lucky to score a goal in yesterday's match against Mainz. I thought the game would end in a draw without any goals. Now the gap to Bayern Munich is only 4 points. That makes it a bit more exciting. Dortmund will play against Cologne on Sunday. Bayern Munich plays the day before.

I stopped watching at that minute unfortunately there was a goal there even though I was happy with the result but it's a shame I didn't watch it until the end because I felt they would end in a draw and I would lose the bet there.

With these fixtures 2 away against Koln and Bayern and 3 home mean they are capable of winning 4 out of 5 which is also good even still not capable of challenging FC Bayern for this year's title, but we can watch good fight at the end of this season which is also good because after few years we have some challenge for FC Bayern for title race which is giving good impression even it's still not clear what's going to happen in next season because few teams have unpredictable behavior, so this can turn into good or bad both ways.

Leverkusen, Dortmund and Leipzig these all can bring some good entertainment in this Bundesliga if they bring some more skilled players for challenging FC Bayern which is ruling this league for many years. For this season, I am still looking for some losing points from FC Bayern and good end for this season specially if Dortmund winning then it's big achievement.

Dortmund are very lucky that they were able to score full points. After the first half was over I thought the match would probably be a draw. But in the 87th minute, Axel Witsel's goal helped Dortmund to score 3 points. Expectations were higher from Haaland in this match. But Haaland's presence on the field was not well noticed. Haaland will have to play better if they want to win the Dortmund title.

Now that they are in equal games, we have just 4 points difference between the two team. They will face each other as well, which means that if Dortmund could win that game, the difference is one points, if they lose it then it is 7 points. So that game means so much for Dortmund. They can close a gap for 1 points, but doing that for 7 points would be terribly difficult at this stage.

What I believe is that Bayern will still beat Dortmund and get the league, it looks like the most common and possible situation but at the end of the day this is football and anything could happen. We should avoid making any type of claims right now before the league ends.

Yes, the match was a bit worrying and had made Dortmund fans a bit desperate because it almost ended in a draw. Finally, at the last minute, they could score 1 goal. Axel Witsel is today's hero. Dortmund deserve the win. Despite the Fact that Mainz had so many scoring chances but couldn't convert one to goal, let's just say last night wasn't their winning game because they really put in much efforts to stand out against their opponents Dortmund, but all goal attempt resulted to no goal for them. The late minutes goal scorer for the Dortmund team was Axel witsel, he gave Dortmund the lead in the 87th minutes of the game and that's his first goal in 774 days in the Bundesliga.

Of course, Dortmund did, because they scored 1 goal and it is a victory. Victory is a victory, victory is done if one of them can score more goals than another whatever happens. What I said is about how the game was going on. It is undeniable that Mainz also has tried their best efforts to hold Dortmund to the last minute. Mainz really couldn't score a single one and indeed Mainz's finishing was less effective and the offense wasn't strong enough so it didn't score a single goal. But the game also deserves to be appreciated. And after all, Dortmund is still the winner because it has a goal in the score. But once more, it is not denied that Dortmund should play very hard to get the score at that match.
