Stuttgart played very well yesterday, to be honest I didn't think they would perform this well. They have played quite well in the league so far, but playing such a dominant game against a team close to their own strength is an achievement. Dortmund was tired from the Champions League game and I knew they would not win yesterday but I never thought that they would lose,I thought at maximum they would get a draw.Dortmund though is not a very good contender this year for the title,the true contender plays today and it is Bayer Leverkussen,they are in top form crushing any opponent in any competition they play.

Borussia Dortmund still fail to maintain a solid strategy for victory. Comparing to the other teams, they don't have a top scorer like Kane or Sane in Bayern Munich or Guirassy in Stuttgart. The return of the latter player gave a big advantage for Stuttgart, he scored a goal and let them win the game. When he was injured, Stuttgart lost two games vs weaker teams comparing to Borussia Dortmund.

For today game I don't think they will have that much of a problem making a short work out of their opponent Union Berlin which is in a really bad shape in all competitions that they are playing.I am sure Bayer knows that it is exactly in these games that they should not leave any points around.

Union Berlin are facing an unstoppable team in their home. They are doing very bad in every competition and I assume they will relegate unless they saved themselves in the winter transfer window.

Like I said before Guirassy is really a game changer for Stuttgart. We saw another example of it yesterday. Even though Stuttgart have been a very consistent team so far, when they play against a team whose quality is above them, I think this will be a defeat for them. But in fact what happened was the opposite. Dortmund still had to acknowledge Stuttgart's greatness through this match. If they can't do that against a struggling Union Berlin team, what does that say about their title strength? Hmm in my opinion the conclusion of the whole is that it looks like this will be an easy match for Leverkusen, but even though this looks like an easy match when they are faced with a team that is very slumped and is at the bottom of the standings on the other hand still Xabi Alonso will not be rash and will definitely show their impressive performance in this match, because obviously indirectly this is a very good opportunity for Leverkusen to be able to get full points to be able to shift Bayern Munich's position at the top of the standings.
