Bayern Munich were just horrible in the first half against Saarbrucken. They just had full control over ball possession however they had only 2 goal attempts in the whole half. After this half ended by 1-1 Tuchel must have told his players to show their usual performance which is why they seemed much closer to scoring many more goals.

But interestingly and very surprisingly they couldn't score any and even got eliminated by a last minute goal.    I would never think Bayern Munich would get eliminated by a third league team in the DFB Pokal. I know they don't prioritize this cup but in the end winning a trophy is always better.

I would drop my comment concerning the game, Bayern Munich was unlucky after numerous attempts to score more goals to make the difference. When compared to second lineups, resting their most outstanding players is no explanation for their losses. Bayern Munich has been eliminated from the DFB Pokal. The Bavarians are going to be completely focused on winning the UEFA Champions League and the Bundesliga. Rüdiger Ziehl and his men were capable to withstand Thomas Tuchel's pushing force. Bayern Munich suffered a surprise setback to Saarbrücken. Bayern Munich were unexpectedly eliminated this season by De FC Die Molschder.

Bayern Munich was totally surprised by the performance of Saarbrücken, I think Tuchel was not expecting to see his team losing this game against a weak team like Saarbrücken because Bayern Munich has much better and stronger players than this team.
Other than this the sad thing for Tuchel was about their player, Matthijs de Ligt. He couldn't even continue the game after 25 minutes and Tuchel is certainly worried about his Dutch player.

However, the most important thing is not to lose important players in bigger competitions. But unfortunately this time they had to lose De Ligt who suffered an MCL injury and right knee capsule damage and according to Fabrizio Romano he will be out for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

You should understand this game was not really important for Tuchel and his palters, in fact, they are playing in the Bundesliga and Champions Leauge, they also have a good situation in both tournaments and this is a reason to say for Bayern Munich the game against Saarbrucken in DFB Pokal was not important at all. Although I thought Munich might be able to put together a comeback, they were finally disqualified from the cup. They have an important match against Dortmund coming up, as far as I can see Tuchel holding players for the Bundesliga. things will be difficult because if a player gets injure, things might not go well. That's why I think Bayern would win no matter what, if Harry Kane was used, but the coach refuse to him because of tough game against Dortmund.

What if Leverkusen will win Bundesliga this year ? At this point I do think this scenario is becoming more and more possible with each game this team is playing and actually winning. Next game they do play against Hoffenheim who is currently on position 6 and is that type of team who goes for all or nothing because they have 0 draws so far!

Also worth to mention that both Leverkusen and Bayern are undefeated so far in 9 games in Bundesliga 

There is still tough competition in the Bundesliga this season because these two clubs are far apart in terms of winning games, so if Leverkusen wins, it won't surprise me in any way. Their performances therefore far this season truly mean that they will break Munich's record.

When a player becomes very consistent with good performance,  and impress the coach, then they'll be forced to extend his contract, well sometimes it's also to scare off other clubs that would be interested in signing him, Aleksandr Pavlovic is a very good player and Tomas Tuchel knows he has alot to offer and could be the one holding the defensive midfield line when Kimmich leaves the club

This is not a coercion, but rather it is appropriate for players who show good performance improvement from the academy to have their contracts extended and promoted to the first team. Aleksandr Pavlovic has good qualities and is able to adapt quickly to the current first team so securing his signature quickly needs to be done by the management so as not to make him leave for another club. Tomas Tuchel needs Aleksandr Pavlovic and he can play as a defensive midfielder as a replacement for Kimmich when he suffers an injury, a red card or leaves for another club.

His relatively young age is the potential that Aleksandr Pavlovic has because there is still plenty of time for him to show his skills and abilities on the field. Kimmich's red card provides an opportunity for him to show Tomas Tuchel that he is ready to take on a much better substitute role, so that when he is able to satisfy the coach there is a possibility he will play regularly.

I am not entirely sure how this was even possible, I mean it must be the most important win of Saarburckens history, they are on third division and they are not even considered like they are going to end up being the winners and they were just hoping that they wouldn't lose 8-0 like Bayern won just recently.

It's true Bayern Munich was not really lucky with this particular game because they did played their very best, created many chances but we're in able to convert them to goals but never the less I still don't see it as a problem because some of their key players weren't present.

It could be very possible the resting of play tuchel was doing caused them the match because if they had a full squad against Molschder I'm sure they would definitely win because they had an excellent performance even in the absence of the some key players so it's very possible they would have won if they were present and it could be possible tuchel does not have much interest in the DFB pokal and is most focus more on the UCL and the bundesliga were he is most threatened by some fast rising teams who are beating him to the top of the bundesliga table.

That would definitely be a big surprise because if Leverkusen managed to win the championship this season, of source no one would expect it. These two team have both performed impressively this season, having not been defeated so far, and for leverkusen the progress that has been built by Xabi Alonso is certainly very good because they are able to maintain good performance in every match they play.

Apart from that, we only hope that Dortmund can break Bayern Munich dominance in the Bundesliga, but if that was done by Leverkusen it would be very surprising. So far the difference in points on the standings is quite close and every week these teams will definitely change places. I was also surprised in today match because Bayern munich was beaten by Saarbrücken, which is a small team playing in League 3.

It would be nice if Leverkusen could get the title here leading the Bundesliga and just like Xabi could break Bayern Munich's dominance as Bundesliga title holders in history and if Leverkusen is able to take over this title I am sure that in the next season Leverkusen will continue to be talked about with its positive trends and Also, Xabi Alonso will be offered by many clubs to become a coach at several clubs and regarding Dortmund I am a little unsure whether it will be able to compete with Leverkusen and Bayern Munich while these two clubs are in their strongest trend which is difficult to shift and Munich's defeat yesterday will not mean anything. because Munich will focus on CL and Bundesliga matches only.

What is important for Munich is to complete the Champions League without any mistakes and advance to the next round. It must not have upset them too much that they were eliminated from the German Cup. The Bundesliga and the Champions League are always priority goals for them. This was a completely unexpected result. Munich  probably never imagined that they would lose  against a team as weak as Sarbrücken. To be honest,  I don't know the Saarbrucken team. I have never seen  this team perform before.

Munich did  not play badly in this match. But Sarbrücken was very lucky. They managed to score two goals against Bayern Munich  despite playing a completely  defensive strategy. Saarbrücken's  players had a total of 4 shots i n this match, while Munich had 18 and 7 on target. Even  then they could not score  more than  one goal. However, Tuchel is not too interested in the DFB Pokal. Munich fans will be happy  if Bayern Munich can maintain their champions league and  bundesliga dominance.

Yes of course and I think everyone who watched this match will also be surprised by the final result of this match, honestly I am also like you I don't really know much about the Saarbrucken team and their career, so I don't really know if they are really strong enough to beat the defending Bundesliga champions.
I will not say that Bayern Munich performed poorly in this match, because clearly the statistics have shown that the difference between these two clubs is quite far, as you said Bayern Munich is superior to statistical data, Bayern Munich has fired 18 times and 7 of them are on target while Saarbrucken only 4 shots and two of them are on target, so this is quite a difference. I didn't watch the match, but since the defeat was sensational, when I looked at the squad after the match, I was surprised to see that Bayern had made some changes and almost kept their main squad. Frankly, I was expecting a victory of more than 5 goals from Bayern in this match, but I had a big shock. They lost 2-1. I am not entirely sure how this was even possible, I mean it must be the most important win of Saarburckens history, they are on third division and they are not even considered like they are going to end up being the winners and they were just hoping that they wouldn't lose 8-0 like Bayern won just recently.

Even in the third division standings table, Saarbrucken is in 15th place. That's why when the whistle signaled the end of the match, the emotional outburst of Saarbrucken players with a score of 2-1 was like a final match for first place.
It was a historic victory for Saarbrucken and Bayern Munich's defeat reduced Kane's chances of lifting the top five together in Germany even though it was limited to the DFB Pokal.
