Initially i almost got scared thinking that Dortmund was going to loose the game at the beginning because loosing by two goals at the beginning of the game was enough to get someone scared they were goin to lose the game but the comeback by Dortmund i must confess was actually an incredible one which is actually uncommon amongst others as i doubt if any of the German team have been able to do that since this season but the most important thing was in the fact that they were able to win at the end of the game which gave them three points but the number of goals conceded was actually really much if i must say .

Bochum is not a team to lose to, but the first half was terrible for Dortmund and I even started to think that they would lose points again, but in the second half they fixed everything. The victory allowed Dortmund to rise above Bayer by one point, but even Leipzig, who is currently in seventh place with 8 points, can overtake Dortmund, because this tour has just begun, and I think Leipzig can do it. And I expect Bayern to beat Bayer today, but most likely both teams will score.

 I wonder why Dortmund had to wait till second half before they got their bearings and turned around to win the game because Bochum aren't a strong side that you'd even need to concede two goals and lose the first half to. I'm not surprised though about their performance yesterday and even though they managed to get a win and sit 2nd place in the Bundesliga temporarily, that's not an assurance they have improved. If anything they need to just be monitored as they can't be fully trusted to deliver when it gets tough.

 There's an interesting and very exciting kick-off today between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen and I must say that's a showdown I've been anticipating for a while now. Bayern Munich have not lost any game whereas Leverkusen has and this fixture will determine if the hosts will can still continue their unbeaten run or Leverkusen will be the ones to deliver the present away from home.

Bayern Munich's decision to recruit Kompany is actually quite right even though Kompany was not the first priority for Bayern Munich because the management had seen several other players who at that time turned out not to have the willingness to coach Bayern Munich. But Kompany is very willing to coach Bayern Munich and I think his career and performance will be remembered very well if Munich can win the Bundesliga again this season, especially if he is able to bring Munich to the UCL final this season later.

Whether it is right or not we can see how Bayern Munich can be better than the previous season, but it is still too early to judge him even though when seen when he was Burnley coach he failed to provide something good for the team. Now the conditions are different because he is in a team that has quality players so it will be easier for him to develop the team compared to when he was at Burnley who only relied on ordinary players.

The target to win the Champions League or reach the final may be difficult because there is a lot of competition there that he will face. But a more realistic target is that he managed to return to giving Bayern Munich the Bundesliga title after the previous season was taken by Leverkusen.

Both teams are really in form this campaign only that the away team (Leverkusen) lost just one game if not they would have been all squared.
I think if we want to talk about the managers I'd say Alonso have more experience in this fixture more than Vincent Kompany and I believe this is one of Vincent Kompany's biggest test in the Bundesliga this season as the coach of Bayern. Let's see if he (Kompany) can keep up with the goal scoring and playing without losing against one of Bayern's biggest rivals. 4 games 4 wins no draw and no loss for the Barbarians and I have that feeling that the visitors might either be the ones to stop that unbeaten streak for Bayern Munich or force them to their first ever draw because I don't see a winning for Bayern in this encounter.

Two managers Alonso and Vincent Kompany will face off and it will be interesting to see how Kompany does against Alonso experience. Bayern Munich has won four games in row but Leverkusen might be able to stop their winning streak or tie the game.

Between the two managers I trust Alonso to throw out everything he has got on Kompany and his unbeaten team, to me this game is between Vincent Kompany and Xabi Alonso, to Kompany is a new chapter to go against the best team in Europe which he needs to get a win to boost his confidence and to Alonso is just to continue making a statement that he is still the boss and in the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich can't beat them anytime they want. But with 3pt separating both team I think it might end in a draw and both team have to go get their 3pt else where, is still Bayer Leverkusen for me on this encounter.

Borussia Dortmund victory yesterday was misleading because it did not reflect the result of their performance. They were just lucky that Vfl Bochum did not have the right nerves. Although, some scenes were good actually but the truth remains that the result says nothing about the course of the game. Fortunately, the three points needed is secured but the performance is not impressive against a team as weak as Bochum. The only thing impressive about that match is the come back they were able to do but we have to realize that Dortmund is one of the top clubs in Germany and were not suppose to be behind a low class team like Bochum in the first place. They're not longer playing with the same mentality that led them to champions league final.
