Paderborn attacked so aggressively that it honestly looked like a match between a huge favorite and a complete underdog. Paderborn had 39 shots in total, with 10 on target, that’s just unbelievable statistics. On one hand, it’s sad to see a club with as much history as Wolfsburg getting relegated to Bundesliga 2, but on the other hand, Paderborn really played an excellent match.
As always, it's not a team's history or history that makes the difference, but there are many other factors, including commitment during the match, perseverance, and no less cohesion between the players and the coach.
Paderborn played aggressively in this game, they simply amplified the skills they already have, they didn't do anything exceptional, Wolfsburg didn't have tenacity during the Championship, they didn't have the chance to push beyond their capabilities, yet they are a team that has potential, unfortunately untapped.
