Why suddenly Leipzig is playing poorly, from the previous game they were good and now seen dropped dramatically, they should be able to provide fierce resistance to Schalke because they benefit from playing at home. I don't think this is luck for Schalke.

oh god, why did Leipzig suffer defeat at home. Though many predict that Leipzig will always play well and be able to maintain their top position. And surprisingly they scored in the final minutes (83 ') Not like Leipzig before.

Because they played a bad game, winning or losing does not depends on how many people predict you're going to win; it depends on how you play.

Leipzig played terribly, and they lose, it's just common sense. As for the reason why they played so bad, nobody knows for sure because we don't see the dressing room details.

Take a look at the stats and you'll see why losing is not a surprise for Leipzig.[1]

It can happen to any team to have a really bad day and this is what happened to Leipzig,probably they underestimated their opponents and thought that we are in the top of the standings so we will win this one too.Maybe they took the game to easy and we saw what happened.I hope they learn from this mistake so it never happens again when they are playing at home.

I just found out about this result, because I'm busy in the English league.

all football matches have the potential to experience the same thing as that, as the host of the match they have an obligation to win so that their fans are happy. I think there is a pretty good improvement from the Leipzig club.

It was an unlucky result for Leipzig and mostly because they lost in a home game.
The next two fixtures are going to show us if they are going to maintain the distance from the 1st position or they are going to panic and lose more points in the title chase.

This Matches normaly you should win because the international Matches havnt started , and if they start it gets more difficult for the team .
If they win the games before the international games is going on it would be good .

As a swogerino said, every team in any kind of sports has bad days. If you look at the stats then understand that it was a draw game, but Schalke was better on the counterattacks...
This Wednesday Leipzig will have a real exam in UEFA Champions Leage with french Lyon. So maybe players and coach analysed their positional game in attack, because Lyon will try to repeat that Schalke`s style in counterattacks.

As the Champions League was started yesterday looks like Bayern Munich got some awesome nice start into the League there.
They played for sure international better as in the German League at the last Match.
Lets hope that Leipzig get also an nice start into the Chanpions League.

3 clubs from the German league really have a great opportunity to qualify for the next phase, including Leverkusen, which is still not optimal in the champions league. So Leverkusen's chances of going into the last 16 are very few, but they have to keep fighting. So that the German league dominates more about UCL.

From the start we could have guessed that Juventus and Atl Madrid would dominate Group D. Unfortunately Leverkusen was in a group that was indeed difficult to compete with at different club levels. If you really cannot qualify for the next round, at least you can enter the European league to treat the leverkusen not passing.

Borrusia Dortmund still looks so unstable for me. Perhaps they will make it to the last 16 and that will be the end of the road for them. I believe Bayern Munich will go further as usual until the meet their perfect match at the later stages of the tournment.

RB Leipzig is in Group G mate, they played today and lost to Lyon


I think they will just end up in Europa, thou the group's top positions are still open

Well, I wouldn´t say that and I guess you wouldn´t if you would have watched the match. Any team more clinical with their chances could easily have equalized another shaky BVB-performance.

That said BVB now has an advantage over Inter (Inter - Slavia 1:1, Slavia - BVB 0:2) but if Dortmund can´t win at least 1 of the 2 matches against Inter (which is possible) than Inter can easily go through, so I would disagree with what you said

It is Bayern's tradition to have Center Forwards who score so much goals.
But I don't think that this is what makes Bayern immutable. In my opinion, they don't have a lot of talented defenders and they have many problems when defending teams which love to sparkle counter attacks.

The problem of Bayern Munich is as you said when they get counter attacks fast.
Because the defenders of Bayern playing also offensive the most times and if they dont get back fast enough it burns and they get most times with that the goals.
And if they have a bad day they struggle hard .

This weekend should bring interesting situation in the regular championship. After bad 2017-2018 season, Schalke made some successful transfers and found their game. They don`t lose 4 matches already, just imagine such winning streak last season In case of winning match against Koln, they may get second or even first place! Because Bayer Leverkusen and Fraiburg will have principal matches and probably may lose them.

There is no doubt about Bayern Munich in the domestic league. This temporary point distance will continue to be far adrift, because Leipzig's performance has declined lately. Even the 2 losses suffered by Leipzig really hurt that made them not at the top of the German league standings anymore.
