I am pretty sure that teams would probably rest a bit before they continue playing again, and there would be some players who will get even more rest. The one thing that worries me is injuries. Any big name player that gets injured during world cup would be a big trouble to their teams, and not even while playing for the team, could happen in the national team which would create a trouble.

This is why I believe that it wouldn't matter "too much" if all goes well. If there are zero injuries for example, then just a few game rest and they could come back. Yes players will play a lot more games this year, but the leagues starting a bit early, and then players taking a small rest would make it break even.

Borussia Dortmund is 50% weaker than last season in my opinion, they sold their main player and I highly doubt they will be able to recover so soon, on the other side we have Bayern Munich that brought in the sadio mane and managed to keep their main scorer goals for another season, this way Bayern Munich is stronger than last season and with that it has more than 80% of being champions once again, I think there is no doubt about that. I believe that the big question that the management of Bayern Munich should be concerned with is if with this team they have enough strength to win the champions league, this is the only big challenge for Bayern Munich, the bundesliga is no longer a big challenge for Bayern Munich, they win so easily that I doubt they worry too much about making an effort to win.
