Frankfurt really couldn't do much against Real Madrid in the Super Cup game. However they at least didn't lose the game like they did to Bayern Munich.    It only ended up with a 2-0 score. The result was obviously expected as Frankfurt can't keep up with a team like Real Madrid. They will really need to improve their morale in the Bundesliga at the earliest opportunity. Maybe the Hertha Berlin game is a good opportunity to do this.

Timo Werner's performance at Chelsea has not been good. Basically, he could not play well in the Premier League. But the context of the Bundestag is different. If Timo Werner is able to adapt well to Leipzig, Leipzig's attack will be stronger. But I'm not sure if Timo Werner will fit in well with Leipzig's players.

Well, let's see him next versus Koln, is he ready?
he has a good reason to back to Leipzig, he wants to play on Qatar and needs frequently play where he can't get it on Chelsea. So far he has never played full and always as a substitution so that performance is not good. it could be a change If he has frequently in Leipzig.

Chelsea didn't have a chance to make much money by selling Lukaku and Warner. What is Warner's contribution to Chelsea's performance? He scored only 4 goals in the Premier League last season. Why would any team buy Timo Werner at a high price despite his poor performance as Chelsea's main striker? Werner was not successful with the Chelsea team. Chelsea did not get the expected performance from him. No club is interested in buying players at high prices if the players are not in the form.

Chelsea not received money from selling Lukaku because that player loan for Inter Milan, but still have money with Tomo Warner sold to Leipzig but with cheapest transfer values. I think Leipzig most lucky team success get back Warner service and I am believing he has potential become top scorer on Bundesliga next season, we are waiting with Warner debut on Bundesliga when Leipzig against with FC Koln. Tomo Warner still have good talented as central forward and become most disappointed why Chelsea have to sell him with most lower values, I think on Chelsea he don't get his real position as central forward, usually Tuchel give him position on left or right side without put him as main forward.

Freiburg as the host certainly will not be easy to beat by Dortmund. The match will be an exciting match that both want to win this match. In the previous match Freiburg managed to beat Augsburg with a 4-0 win which built on an impressive start.

They will still be one of the underdogs which is quite a hassle for the big teams in the top 4 positions, although indeed at the end of the season they are increasingly not showing good consistency but in the mirror from the beginning of last season it is clear that Freiburg really cannot be underestimated. In fact, I still feel the chance for a draw in this match is greater than the victory of one of the competing clubs.

When indeed his target is the world cup then indeed he must now forget his bad game at Chelsea and have to start over from scratch here so that his chances are open in the squad because indeed if we look at Germany now still relying on Havertz and obviously the chance to be a pure striker and the targetman is still open as long as he returns to doing a good performance as he showed at Leipzig a few seasons ago.

Leipzig have got what they wanted now. I still remember Timo Werner's marvelous season in the Bundesliga like 28 goals and 8 assists in 34 games.

That's a very impressive performance from him unlike when he was playing for chelsea and he rarely made scored for chelsea. that's why he was rarely playing in the starting line up from chelsea. If moving back to the leipzig can recover his mentality and i will be supporting it.
leipzig can at least become even better with him.

He played for Chelsea for two seasons only. Now I hope to see the same ambition from Werner here. Leipzig might be able to leave Dortmund behind in this season actually. If they get efficiency from Werner a lot then they might get ahead of all of the teams except Bayern Munich in the standings. This is just a guess for now and I'd be confident of something more later on.

If leipzig can become very competitive with dortmund or even bayern and that would be enough. There's no need to put a high expectation.

I do agree that it shouldn't be really that shocking to see Werner making a profit for them since he didn't play "that" well in Chelsea, and I do agree that he will play as good as he can because of the world cup, but I think he will miss the world cup considering his opposition for the place he plays.

In the end, it is a good deal and he will score at least 20 goals in bundesliga this year, that's not too bad, I mean people look at 40 goals by Lewandowski and things that's normal and Haaland got close too if I am not wrong, so everyone expects that much but 20 goals is quite good in any league, and I think Werner has what it takes to do that easily.

Of course. Robert Lewandoski is an exceptional talent and scoring more than 30 goals is truly insane. And if you look at the number of goals in the last few years, 20 goals is really good. So if Timo Werner feels really comfortable in the Leipzigteam he will certainly score a lot of goals again. We will see whether it is enough for the World Cup. But I think he is a candidate.

We all predicted that Real Madrid would win this match. Unfortunately, Frankfurt is not such a strong team. But when we watched the Real Madrid game, I felt that the players were not ready for the league yet. They will probably be one of the league's top scorers this year and they will finish the league with a bad ranking.
If they get 3 points from the Hertha Berlin match, their morale will improve

@xzone while I didn’t expect Frankfurt to win, but I was hoping for some fight back after their loss to Bayern but that motivation was clearly missing, and if they lose one or two more games then their coach will start to feel the pressure. However you’ll are right because if they can reverse this losing streak then they can buy themselves some time, and that’s why it’ll be really interesting to see how they perform in their next match which is in two days time.

Although the morale of Frankfurt players can be lifted, for example if they win when they play against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga opener, but still Real Madrid will win the match. There is no good reason to make Frankfurt win in the UEFA Super Cup because after all, Real Madrid on the one hand have better preparations and are in better condition because they haven't started the league yet. However their quality is different and even so, Real Madrid is a team with many titles and when compared to Frankfurt who have not had many achievements it is clear that it is a very different team in quality by many factors.

Yes, after all a club needs a win to bring back their confidence. When people say they shouldn't look back on the game and focus on the next game, it's true. But it won't be easy to do all of that, especially if the club isn't very big. Maybe it can apply to a very big club.
On the other hand, for Real Madrid this will increase their confidence, by starting the season with a trophy.

I watched that match and i think that Frankfurt showed a pretty good performance in my opinion and they can definitely be happy with the way they have played yesterday. They even had the chance to go in front as they had the first big chance but sadly Kamada was not able to make a goal out of his pretty good chance.
Of course it is also true though that it was pretty obvious yesterday that Real Madrid has just a higher individual class then Frankfurt and also way more experience. It looked like that whenever Real Madrid wanted they could create chances and that they never really had problems to defend against the attacks of Frankfurt except for Kamadas chance.

Real Madrid was better and the two goals were good. Vinicius Junior made assists and was close to open the score in the first half.
I believe Frankfurt didn't recover psychologically from the Bayern humiliation. The timing of the game was unfortunate for them tho.

Frankfurt not lose unhappily vs Bayern, they are not so good as Bayern. And against Real Madrid it is the same. Eintracht Frankfurt is far away, where Bayern Munich and Real Madrid currently is. For this they still need many years and a lot of money. It would have been important if they had won, so the money can be used for the next big transfer, but no chance. In the Bundesliga i see a chance for Frankfurt, that they can under the first 4 in the league. That would mean: One place in the Champions League.

The chemistry between Real Madrid players is excellent. Due to the good understanding between them, they have been able to continue to perform consistently well. And their match strategy is very strong. On the other hand, Bayern Munich's attack is very strong. So they can break the defense of any team. The tactical gameplay of these two teams is completely different.

There is really no surprising thing for Real Madrid to win against Frankfurt, and if you know Karim Benzema the number 1 scorer in the La Liga, with 27 goals for the 21-22 season of the La Liga, mostly comparing him to Robert Lewandowski, surely one would think twice not betting for Real Madrid against the team that landed the 11 spots of the Bundesliga last season, so there is no wonder many are going with Real Madrid,

Returning to RB Leipzig is a good choice, with Christopher Nkunku I think the Leipzig has a slight edge for this season, but I think they still need time their chemistry is off and pretty much Stuttgart is a new team now for them to make the Leipzig getting hard on them, they sure need time to think of a play maybe we will see Leipzig Turn this around like they this last season,

At least they are not unhappy with the result and because Real Madrid is a real deal aswell, they can not really compete with that kind of level of play because if we look at the game stats, Frankfurt really did their all to keep the game close, but to no success with their goals at all, because from that 6 shots they made 3 was on target but still doesn't attain any goal at all, but at least they have enjoyed the game so much no regrets eve though they have lost, I think that is more informant than winning, for a team or players to enjoy their moment,
