Because at this point, I don't think any team can knock them off number one spot. I mean they already have a GD of +14 after 3 only games. Best believe no team is catching up to them.

They are the same as last season I think and for candidates they are still there but during the knockout phase they always failed to do much even last season they had to be willing to lose to Villarreal who incidentally are undedogs for the Champions League.
I think the Champions League is still quite difficult for them too this season, especially with the conditions in other leagues where it is clear that there are some big names in it as well.
