In the end it was indeed a great match and of course even if Freiburg lost this game but they also performed well it's just that Bayern's conditions were much better than those they lost and Bayern can take revenge for their previous meeting in the DFB.

Talking about the championship, I think Bayern will win the title regardless of how Dortmund is performing now. For Union, they are already out of line and they can only maintain the top 4 positions because their rivals Leipzig and Freiburg are almost close, not even impossible with Leverkusen's current conditions, they can also compete in that position.

Actually, Bayern Munich is not at 100% because of their injuries and so Freiburg had a slight advantage because Bayern Munich doesn't have complete  players for them but they still manage to win their Bundesliga play-offs, Right now Dortmund won against Union Berlin a close game for them, Bayern winning a close game against Freiburg, Mainz, and Werder got a draw, Koln have won against Augsburg, Leverkusen got a win over Frankfurt, and Leipzig won over Hertha, Monchengladbach against Wolfsburg, Stuttgart against Bochum, and lastly Hoffenheim against Shalke,

It seems that two champions league spots are available and three teams will be competing for them those teams are union berlin, leipzig and freiburg in the next round leipzig and union berlin have easier games than freiburg  since they will both play at home and they are huge favourites so i don't think we will see a change in the standings yet.

We have 2 games today and it is now the quarter-finals leg 1 of 2 Benfica VS Inter, and Manchester City VS Bayern Munich, I think both matches will be great for me Bayern Munich really is doing great while Benfica and Inter will be a great fight as well but for me this big fight I think Benfica could win this game they surely got green and doesn't have injuries at the moment while Bayern Munich, also got their difficult time with Bayern Munich as well,

I think the third place will most probably be Union Berlin's despite that loss against Dortmund. Because Leipzig and Freiburg both have been very inconsistent teams for many weeks. Therefore I think the competition for the fourth position will go on between Leipzig and Freiburg until the final moments of the season. It isn't easy to be confident about any side here about it too.

For now I'm feeling closer to Leipzig because of their squad quality. Besides they already won a similar competition against Freiburg in the previous season.

If i had to pick the 4 teams of the Bundelsiga that will qualify for the Champions League next season then those teams would be Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leizpig and Bayer Leverkusen, because those 4 teams are simply having the strongest squads of the league. I am not so sure though, if Union Berlin can really finish the league on of the top 4 ranks. Just as Freiburg, they are playing way above their expectations in this season so far, but in the last few weeks it was also obvious that they are getting tired now. Both Union and Freiburg have lost their matches on the weekend and if Leverkusen can keep it's momentum, then that 8 point lead of Union does not mean that much, because there are still 21 points to be earned.

Maybe to take Freiburg out of the limelight right now is natural for their inconsistency, but the next matches Leipzig and Leverkusen have quite tough opponents coming up, I don't think we can decide on this now because we don't know what the dynamics and results will be. the next match, I'm not sure I have to include Leverkusen in the team that will qualify for the Champions League because Leverkusen in the next few matches will face Lepzig and Union Berlin, of course this is quite tough, even though in five Leverkusen matches they collected full points from each match, I think Union Berlin will not throw away its sweat just like that.

In October, Bayer Leverkusen were in relegation zone and no one were thinking they could be at this spot after few months under dynamic leadership of Alonso which is doing amazing job and now having sights on Champions League spot which is looking possible with their current performance and three teams which are struggling badly in last few matches specially Freiburg, Leipzig and Union Berlin are not good as they needed to be at this point if we have same level of performance then surely things could be interested in last few weeks because now Leverkusen having easy fixtures which can help them for having better spot in Bundesliga and final spot into Europa Cup as well.

Right now difficult to predict who is going to follow Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for top four because all are having troubling time and Bayer Leverkusen and Alonso can take good advantage of this all which will help them for having amazing end of this season.

Maybe, but for sure, at the end of the season the games will get tougher and we will see how these teams do the rest of the job. also, considering the rankings of Leipzig and freiburg which occupy 4th and 5th place. plus, with 7 games remaining until the season ends. that means, the three teams we mentioned have the potential to rank 3rd. after all, they still have tough matches. so, changes in the leaderboard are subject to change at any time. yes, it depends on how each team plays its matches.

but IMO, I suspect that Union Berlin is going to have a bad run of games. I mean, Union Belin will slip up in some of their bouts. that way, the team that is below them has the potential to overtake the ranking occupied by Union Berlin. in fact, I have an interest in Leverkusen. squad team made by Xabi Alonso, has the potential to occupy the 4th position. but with one condition, they must win all the remaining matches. even then it's not easy, because they still have tough matches like meeting with Liepzig and Union Berlin.

In my opinion it is still an open race from Union Berlin downwards. Bayern and Dortmund are safely going to play for 1st and 2nd although I can't see how Bayern is going to throw this one away as well. Which would be absolutely insane also for the Bayern bosses as they fired Nagelsmann in order to achieve their goals as they said! LOL

But from Union Berlin downwards it is an open race with open ending so far. After being eliminated from the champions league, Dortmund has not fully returned to its best performance. However, if we look at the last few matches that Dortmund have played, the results are quite good, they won from Cologne, Union Berlin and lost to Bayern Munich and Schalke in a draw.

Even so, the distance of 2 points from Bayern Munich is at least still relatively small and maybe if in the second leg of the UCL later, Bayern Munich fails to turn things around against Manchester City, then Bayern Munich will fully focus on the Bundesliga title. But until the game arrives, I think Bayern Munich's focus is still divided and Dortmund can maximize that well if Bayern Munich will stalemate in the next match.
