IMO, there is nothing strange, because it has become commonplace when sometimes a player's performance decreases due to several factors such as injuries etc. but for sure Bayern and Dortmund will always compete for the number 1 spot in this league and in my opinion in the upcoming match Dortmund and Bayern they will give a good performance to win each other points to be ranked number 1.

Even Schalke done good recovery in last 12 matches, but sadly their first half of this season give them big setback and just because of this performance they have no enough chance for the staying into Bundesliga we have just 6 matches left in this season and Schalke all matches are against the toughest sides which will not allowed them to have any positive change in their spot and bring them out of the relegation zone.

This is my personal statement, but I have to say that change of coach is surely happened on wrong time which is now having big impact on their performance with most chances they will face exit from Champions League in second leg after conceding three goals in first leg match, and they have to done hard work for the Bundesliga title because just 2 points difference can bring any change in any game with Borussia Dortmund already lost their chance but still things could be interested in remaining matches for the title race.

As they play against Hoffenheim, this performance can bring problems for their chances into Bundesliga as well because just six matches and any poor result they could be out of the competition.

I hope that the low chance for them to survive in the Bundesliga doesn't discourage them from doing their best to survive in the Bundesliga next season. The reason is if they are discouraged, it will bury their hopes of surviving next season.
