In my opinion, this is not so disappointing because Leverkusen is not a club that is easy to beat by Bayern Munich even though Bayern Munich tried to pressure their opponents but Leverkusen has devised a strategy to make their defense stronger because they know they are facing a Bundesliga giant and they always score a lot of goals while Leverkusen's defense is not that weak at least Bayern Munich did not lose points in this match and they are still leading the standings for now. Vincent Kompany's test is not over yet they have only had their first meeting and the second meeting will be held at Leverkusen's headquarters it will be tougher for Bayern Munich but that is still a long time so Bayern still has time to perform better in their second meeting.
Although Kompany was able to ensure that Bayern dominated this match, Bayer was able to hold on to a draw and this is good for the competitiveness of the Bundesliga, where the teams at the top of the table continue to move quite close. This may change later, but for now Bayern does not have a big advantage over other teams and this draw shows that Alonso was able to preserve the Bayer we saw last season, but this time Bayern will definitely not give them the title just like that.
Overall, the draw is fair for both teams considering that both teams are top Bundesliga teams and both are favorites to win the Bundesliga this season, but for Bayern Munich this is a bit disappointing because they played at home and were able to play much better with more dominant control of the match but were unable to win the match.
So I think this draw is only beneficial for Leverkusen.
And for Bayern Munich, in terms of quality this season, they have been much better, and Kompany should have been appreciated even though at the beginning of his arrival there were doubts, but Kompany managed to prove it by making Bayern Munich's performance much stronger this season.
