EBay is still I believe the best way to gain experience making money from the Internet for two reasons –

You are pretty much guaranteed to make some kind of sale and thus experience a transaction
EBay has the traffic, so you don’t have to worry about marketing your product beyond creating a good listing, the eye-balls are already there

You have to have a portfolio and lots of examples of your work to show potential employers in order to get hired as a programmer or writer or designer online. I agree that creativity is key when you search the internet for opportunities. There is definitely no shortage and the pay is most of the time slave labor, but it's what we've got in today's economy.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

What are the profits like from using an affiliated based signature campaign? IIRC the Xotika signature earns you money only when users sign up under it, correct? I tried doing this with Primedice for a little bit after they shut down their signature campaign. Didn't get any referrals, but maybe with a campaign for a newer and more exciting company you could get a decent number of people to join.

Ebay can have good traffic, that doesn't mean anything.

It's like saying the internet has good traffic. billions of people go on the internet everyday. But it's so saturated that your thing will be hard to find.

A good product which is useful, efficient and makes people happy obviously gains attention on the internet, do you people know about crowdfunding projects? I've been in that field for quite a while. Crowdfunding is when your potential customers pay you money in advance to deliver the product if they like your video pitch and if you already have a working demo, you'll make that dollar

I have been interested in the various ways there are of making money on the internet. From the GPT/PTC sites to others like swagbucks.com, I have been earning money online since 2009. At the time, I was still skeptical of making money online at all to begin with yet so Bitcoin was out of the question. Now from what I see the best methods involve bitcoin. Today, finding a job writing or programming or something similar online in exchange for bitcoin seems to be the way to go these days. What do you do to earn extra income online?

I started writing for a website and learnt their gross mechanism through that. It got me thinking and I set aside a capital to invest in creating a blog of my own, things went well and its mostly about generating viewership, once that happens you'll have companies approaching you for advertising their content on your site, earning through ad revenues is by far the most promising means of income and it's constant too.

Not sure what crowdfunding has anything to do with either mine or his comment. But while there certainly are products that became a hit without much marketing, that doesn't mean that will always be the case.

For every "good product which is useful, efficient and makes people happy" that gained attention on the internet, there could be 10 or 100 or 1000 better products that didn't gain attention on the internet. You don't know about them because they didn't gain attention. Does that make sense? You only know of the success stories. Just like you only hear of bill gates, mark zuckerberg and friends, etc. Doesn't mean every college dropout will be able to start a billion dollar business.

I think that selling things online is a very profitable business. You can make great amounts every month on sites like ebay with selling things. You should have nice products with good prices so you can sell more and earn more. Also you can make different package products (mobile phone with tempered glass and rubber case) so you can attract more customers.

Selling online is not bad idea. People buy everything, sometimes even stuff that you can't imagine that someone would take for free.

I have started with faucets. But did not last long. To tedious and not at all profitable. Then continued with cloud mining. Participated in two of those, In the first earned about 1 btc in the second lost about 1 btc (scammers). Now I am happy signature campaign and a game that like to much. Can be played and can be earned. In the free time play and write. In the rest of time the everyday job but that have nothing to do with online.

It is true that at the end of the day getting a real job in the actual world is the best way to go. What I have learned is unless you're skilled (ie a programmer or a designer) you aren't going to get far making a stable income online. Opportunities come and go and it is a lot of hard work.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

Only programmers ,developers, will be able to live just from online ,normal people as me and the most here will do some tasks like signatures and trading,if a good programmer can make a project and run it ,making it stable will atract more and more custumers same way as some old ptc like neobux and clixsense, others keep online but those is the most know sucess companies acting online.

I was like a person who always try to find new way of earning online. For present I am posting in some forums where they pay per post but out of them bitcointalk is the place where I earn more. I am also quite good at php coding so running some faucets and bitcoin related blog. Although I am doing this all the money I earned online is not enough for my living. I am looking forward to do some bit coin trading in future.

Whatever I earn online is considered a passive income. Unless you found something that earns you enough to compensate your day job, you shouldn't leave your present commitment to go full time online. If possible find something that occupies and requires the least amount of time. Something that involves doing mlm is nice because once you establish your network of downline, flow of income should come easily. Provided you found a good marketable product. You can also establish a website doing affliate marketing that pays you commission or you can earn from ads that is practically automated once your site is established.

I don't think it's possible to make a living online, unless ofcourse you own a business/site online or you have killer skills and you can program/web-design etc but other then that you can earn a little from here and there but it is no way enough to earn a livelihood from it.

And even if you do manage to build a website or work on various jobs online it doesn't promises that it will provide good returns in future, I think it's best to work a day time job and that way you can earn enough to make a living and also make some savings for when you get old.

Passive income is the holy grail and the foundation of real wealth. Online can enable that and that's what I'd be aiming towards rather than toiling away doing odd jobs. Think about who you're doing such jobs for, what they plan to do with your work and looks beyond that.
