How does it look for the ICO procedure in details? I find only When you already have some amount of bitcoins then you can register into DECENT ICO and get DCT in exchange for bitcoins. Need the instruction step by step. |

So again, anyone from the core team knows the right asnwer to my question please?
Correct me if I'm wrong ! The investors(ICO buyers) will get around 50% of the total supply?
For the upteenth time... There is no limit to ico coins, if a trillion are sold then that's how many there will be. If a million are sold, that's how many there will be. You can't figure out the relation of ico coins to all other coins until the end of the ico. |

If so, the investors get 54m of the total 100m?
Buyers will drive the numbers. We will know them for sure after ICO (except for those of the Bounty Program & Pre-Software Marketing). So far, we know that:
After the launch of the final release of DECENT Network, tokens will be issued according to the Software Sale results. DCT sold in the September Software sale will be 70% of the total DCT distributed. Part of this will be also pre-mine funds that will be distributed in following way:
10% for the DECENT Foundation
2% for the Investment Fund
1,000,000 DCT for DECENT Bounty program
3,000,000 DCT for Pre-software marketingMeaning: => the overall amount of DCT sold during the Software Sale + the described funds for Bounties etc. represent 70% of the total amount of DCT that will be issued. According to this number, the remaining 30% will be allocated to mining rewards (DECENT uses a PoC - Proof of Custody algorithm)

If by "investors", you mean ICO buyers in a strict sense, check the formula in the fourth comment above yours. That's how I could formalize the distribution, though such formalization still needs to be confirmed by a representative. With that formula, you will just have to replace T and S by .7DCT and .5DCT respectively in order to find what the total supply should be if buyers were to be distributed 50% of it. To answer your question: For investors to get exactly 50% of the total supply (bar bounties, marketing and mining rewards), the total supply should amount precisely to 34 482 758.6. Since that number depends on tokens sold, one can only estimate. Do you have a clearer answer like: yes your correct or no the % that the ivestors(ofcourse I mean ico buyers) are getting is xx% of total supply ? P.S.I am curious if your going to give me the bullshit formulla again for the 3-rd time as answer  Probably yes, probably no, but ask a Decent representative or your crystal ball if you want a glimpse in the future. Let's not forget about the real possiblity that bitcoin price could be much higher when these coins are distributed than it is now. You can make your own speculation on the effect that would have on Decent token values, but in my mind it would devalue them in relation to bitcoin. You may go up in fiat value but down in bitcoin value, which to me would be a huge negative. This same thing played out with waves with predictable early dumping.
I'm really not trying fud, I'm just pointing out some of the risks in buying this ico.

You may go up in fiat value but down in bitcoin value, which to me would be a huge negative. This same thing played out with waves with predictable early dumping.

One of the things i haven't seen explained anywhere (happy to be corrected though) is how 5000 DCT is valued at 1 BTC. When 1 BTC is currently worth $630 today, but only $580 last week. Surely now 5400 DCT = 1 BTC? |

However as the value of BTC fluctuates quick dramatically, it makes DCT more expensive by virtue it's value has been artificially tied to it. The value in fiat will change, but not the value in btc. So, if you buy tokens at 5k per btc and the price of btc doubles, the fiat value of dct tokens must also double to keep pace. This is an especially dangerous situation with 1 million free coins given out for bounties - people will be very excited to cash into expensive bitcoins. This is obviously mere speculation that the btc price will go up this fall/winter, but I think this is fairly likely. |

I see this would be a great project and very costly with breakthrough that promises to society DECENT ynag so wide, plus a very active board DECENT noticed any recent update on DECENT, for users DECENT, who participated in DECENT ..  I am happy to see how the performance DECENT very telitih to take a decision which is good for users and ready to work hard on behalf DECENT, so that all users are satisfied with their performance .. |

After reading and watching most of the available infos I still have the impression that the DECENT team is very dedicated and has good intentions but somhow is also pretty naive.
Several people have asked how Decent would handle illegal content but the questions were never really answered. It seems Decent has no solution to this problem.
So I expect Decent to become the new one stop for porn, snuff videos, plans for building weapons and bombs and of course the newest IS propaganda videos? How do you want to prevent this?
According to you „nobody can erase it“. A dream for every sicko out there.
Could be a big hit but not what you wanted to create and quite the opposite of „decent“ ...

They should implement something similar to a certificate revocation functionality where inappropriate content can be flagged and voted on to be removed and then the revocation happens by consensus.
It is also debatable what the definition of inappropriate is. Something inappropriate in one traditional jurisdiction might be perfectly legitimate and acceptable in another. If X% vote in the Decent jurisdiction and agree it is inappropriate it gets revoked.
People can use their traditional values and local laws to inform their voting.
