Still one of the most underrated and undervalued coins of all time. Still has the original dev and still kicking ass. You guys owe it to yourself to try out trader Daddy.

Hi, I'd like to run a staking node and have a couple of questions.

1. Is the current GUI release (v2.2.0.1) optimal or should I compile from source? (will be on Linux Mint)
2. Is it advisable to have a rubycoin.conf file configured with RPC user/pass or is it locked down without?

Also it seems development focus is on the TradderDaddy platform (which is awesome) but is there any further development plans for Rubycoin itself?

Thanks!

Nice to see a price bump. 2018 should be a good year for Ruby coin holders. Once the mass knows about Tradder daddy the sky is the limit.

TraderDaddy is making me nice profit.  I'm not sure the exact numbers that my account has grown because I am constantly depositing into my account from mining and other deposits while TraderDaddy is running.

In the TraderDaddy dashboard it shows the last 100 completed trades.  I copied this data into excel.  Here are screenshots of the data and the calculated results:

http://prntscr.com/hqcok3
http://prntscr.com/hqcoq2
http://prntscr.com/hqcou5

BTC Profit      BTC Price   $ Earned    $ Estimate per 24 hours
0.03410357   $16401      $559.33     $1,118.67

Time frame last 12 hours
100 Completed trade pairs

The 24 hour estimate equates to about 1% of my account value.  This is a typical day with TraderDaddy, nothing special about this day.  It is an amazing bot.  If you use it for the long term it is inevitable that it will increase the total BTC value of your Bittrex account.

The BTC profit made on each trade is getting compounded into the next trades.  Profits being constantly compounded results in an exponentially growing BTC profit curve which will eventually even outgrow your entire initial investment.

I highly recommend TraderDaddy.  I also highly recommend Rubycoin.  More people will learn about TraderDaddy's awesomeness leading to more Rubycoin demand since 500 RBY need to be held in order to use TraderDaddy.

TraderDaddy was working so well with low amount. Went from .03 to .06 BTC in 5 days, averaging 5-7% daily.

Then Bittrex comes along and ruins all the fun. You now need .5 BTC available per coin (market) you trade in order to use the liquidity feature. To slow buy or slow sell it works with the lower sums, but the fun part of TD is the liquidity. Bittrex also did not want bots running away with money, because Bittrex planned their infrastructure poorly and can't handle it, so they made things like TD limited to how many trades it can make an hour.

I give the developers a major thumbs up for their work and being able to react to Bittrex so quickly to keep TD running in compliance with Bittrex new rules they throw in daily.

Now if they would just make a poor man version of TD for Cryptopia where you do not need to invest .5 into each market I would probably get a hard on and watch liquidity go instead of p0rn!

$RBY will make some big steps, thanks for all you do!

Might be a good time to look at Cryptopia, never thought I'd say this but I am trading more at Cryptopia than Bittrex mainly due to the swings in Electroneum.

will the trader daddy support cryptopia in the future? it will be a good choice if the devs also support other major exchanges other than bittrex.

I don't know that Cryptopia has enough volume to support a bot like Traderdaddy, but that's not to say it won't ever happen.

Interested as well. What is the difficulty like for staking? Wondering how many I should buy to get started.

The formula is: (your balance / total staking) * 960 = stakes per day

Currently, about 18 million (72% of the total supply) are staking.

If you had 20,000 RBY the calculation would be: (20000 / 18000000) * 960 = ~1 stake of 4 RBY per day, assuming the computer is always online.

Thank you! One more thing, do you guys happen to have a discord for this coin?
