All these people make it sound like it is so easy to make money in crypto. It is just as easy to lose! My very first week back in 2013 I turned $200 of bitcoin into $1200. I lost it all the next week. Find what works for your own risk appetite and budget.

In that year I think people got that profit in Bitcoin as in that year the price of Bitcoin started to increase from 2pp dollars and reached to 1200 in that year. But do not know that how you lost them in a week as it took a longer te to down back. If the suggestion is for investing in Bitcoin. Then it is a very good and beneficial investment.

Here's my short list, in order of market cap, not personal preference, that I could recommend as the basis for a "diversified" crypto portfolio:

Everyone's own percentage allocations will depend on all the traditional factors such as suitability, individual risk tolerance, etc., but I'm looking for a minimum of 100x return over the years just by buying and holding these 7 picks.

Almost all coins now are actively fluctuates its price and hard to predict what coin is much better to invest. But i do investment in clam which i see the great progress since start. Clam is only 3 months old but more people get big profit in this coin.

I personally count bitcoin as my safe haven. If my altcoins are converted in bitcoins, I'm confident that I wouldn't have that day when I'm surprised that my coin has went down tremendously without any idea if it will come back to life anymore. I still have some altcoins because of bounty campaign. I often check their price of liqui just so I wouldn't be too late to sell my coins.

Plenty of altcoins have a good potential ever since. But are people going to buy it? The "good potential" part has become so common that the only chance of a successful trade is that if the coin gets hyped up enough for you to get some profit.

And what kind of research are you going to do?

Are you just speaking off your mind what you think would work out ("to make profit you should do research")? Indeed, you should do that, and research will tell you that most coins are not intended to exist longer than their creators need to earn enough. And thus your only chance to make profit is in fact to start or keep friendship with these dudes and be 100% sure that they won't use you and leave you with a bag full of shitcoins

But you have to fully apply that on a specific thing, if you will devote but you do it in a wrong investment it will result to nothing and you are just wasting your time.
