1)Eat the coins
2)move myself

But it was easly done by eating me from others.

We added a new Statistics Button next to the account button - you just checked it out?

And have you entered the Top Ten Player List right now?  Wink

What do you think of our "Bombfest" change?

I had the same idea as you. Glad someone implemented this. However the lag is unbearable and i still go back to agar,io everytime. You need to add servers around the globe and improve your server side code. What is your back end stack?

3/10/15

21 bitcoin computer disperses satoshis, this would be perfect for this game. Imagine if you could play and win a decent amount of satoshis without even having to "gamble" your money. I know there is a faucet play ground but its not nearly as sustainable as a node contribution model.

Played another game today, it seems that the lag is less noticeable than the other day when i played, possibly from some of the game updates. Still think, continental servers are beneficial when games have money on the line. Hard to justify costs for the lack of player base, but i believe a necessity.

Believe game has a lot of potential and is part of a greater movement of apps which integrate micro payments, rewards and virtual economies. This app is a prime example and could get very popular with constant updates and improvements.

I just played for the first time.. i've played agar.io tons, i had to quit cause i was playing it too much lol.

Thoughts on chopcoin.... firstly it played very smooth for me, almost no lag, no different from agar.  I found chopcoin a little confusing how to get going at first, i heard you could play for bitcoins for free on here (faucet play) and it took a while to find what i had to do at the site, then i worked out i needed to create an account. I would suggest not needing an account for faucet play and probably have a very clear tab saying FREE PLAY (WIN BITCOINS) or something.  Also i couldnt see what i might win and wasn't sure how i might win.  Do you have to be number one when the game ends? idk, if so have a winning zone on the leader board if possible where names highlight or something.  I dont know what possible at this stage, i understand right now you are building numbers which is most important thing.

All in all though excellent site congrats, was better than i thought.

Agreed the MENU system is confusing.

Will there be a tournament this weekend?

A fun tournament mode would be one where mass size increases as normal, but you are only awarded points for eliminating other players completely - thus forcing people to take more chances and perhaps get eaten themselves. Not sure if that will be the outcome, but it could provide some interesting gameplay.

Also, it could be fun with a game mode where all players start out with a larger size, just to speed things up a bit in the start.

Here are some updates from the last days:

Update: 09/26/2015
__________________

- Player count should now always update properly.
- Users can now join free servers without having to login (does not include faucet servers)
- Chat has been added - Players can tip other players
- Minimal changes to the gameserver to speed up the gameplay

Update: 09/28/2015
__________________

- The servers recently received a large patch to optimise the game.

Update: 09/30/2015
__________________

- QRCode generation is now possible on the deposit tab

Update: 10/01/2015
__________________

- Game options are now stored on the client by means of localStorage (when available).
- Link to block explorer added to transaction details page. Click on it to see the transaction info.
- Links are now filtered in chat.
- Statistics page added

Update: 10/02/2015
__________________

- Some optimisations in regards to drawing.
- A universal framerate limiter is added to the client.
- "Simple Mode" (for low performance pcs): what this does is force nodes to draw as 'simple', which means no borders and no collision effects-that is, all nodes will just be circles now, except for the virus which retains its shape (but will have a fixed amount of 16 points). Next, it disables skins on all nodes. Finally, it sets the max framerate to 30.

Nice! But can you also store the player name in the local storage, please?

Talking about tournaments, It would be an interesting idea one tournament where players wager some coins (in order to fill the pot) and an option to allow visitors/audience to watch the game and to bet (back and lay) players' performance.

That's a suggestion, maybe it's viable. dunno...

Defo consider longer faucet games, think about it, people start playing agar and the 2-3 hours disappears, the break in play every 10 mins makes people stop.  I know for me i play 2 10 min games and the break is handy because i can stop.

Again i dont know what the current goal for the site is.

Thats a great idea. Interesting angle.  Cool

I watched the whole of the last tournament. Betting and/or backing a given outcome certainly adds the interest for the spectator.

Maybe it could work under a Parimutuel betting system or even a P2P back and lay matching bets system like Betting exchanges do.

I agree 100% that it would add more fun to watch the competitions.

Its a great idea but you have to watch for people manipulating the outcome.  You could have multiple accounts or teams of player colluding .

I had a random though about tournaments. Last time, the first tournament was only promoted on twitter, and there wasn't that much preparation time. So maybe next time it be better to announce a upcoming tournament a couple days in advance so they can be promoted on reddit, twitter and other places. This would help to attract more new users, and give current users something to look forward to.

Just found the twitter, im happy to retweet out any news to my bitcoin followers.  Sites like this are really important to bitcoin, let us know if we can help promote.
