When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ?

Probably at the end of this year we see again bitcoin at 500$ again.I am quite hopeful to see the at that again before the start of new year.This is not big deal to reach again at 500$.

Before we haven't solved the blocksize issue nothing big regarding price will happen. We even can not hold the $300 range we had this year. So I expect nothing like $500 before halving.

In the middle of 2016 we will see $500/BTC. I do agree with others there are chances to hit not even $350 this year.If something extraordinary happens then we can not say anything.If we talk about halving issue which is next after the XT drama has finished tiny chances remain.

Sure bring on $300 but to get anywhere near figures everyone wants its going to take work to succeed in reaching a new high or a more stable price and continued growth. Over the last year BTC has been hit so hard it has been one of the toughest years yet. 2013 massive records hit., 2014 the fall 2015 was meant to be a recovery year and yet hit very hard so far and not much change happening other than people cashing out some massive amounts effecting the price. Bring on the buy orders bring on the green for 2016. Again only time is going to tell where the price is going to land.

This is my speculation
in beginner bitcoin price is very low because bitcoin is new, and no more people know about bitcoin technology
after more people know about bitcoin technology, some investor join and  look chance to bitcoin price will be up and price will be up
after MT.Gox scam, so more people scared and sell his bitcoin at under value (under $200),
now price stable rate is 200-300$

if we can break $300 ( hit $400) Im sure bitcoin will be up to $1000

I think as demand dwindles, as the original use-cases become less and less relevant, we should expect Bitcoin to hover around the cost of production, which I understand varies widely but is a little over a hundred bucks roughly.  I don't expect to see 800 or 690 or 500 or whatever ever again.

Bitcoin doesn't have a "cost of production" in the classic sense. Difficulty self-adjusts. Mining activity is driven by price and hardware cost, not the other way round.

I think it may not be possible by end of 2016 because for that to happen with current price, it has to appreciate more than 100% in a year + time. Logically it is not possible but surely price will appreciate some percentage but difficult to predict how much. If no other bad news about bitcoins then it will slowly start moving upwards.
